The hotel's cleanliness is also a highlight, with modern and tidy rooms. Booked here for overnight accommodation whilst we were attending a family celebration in the City. As we were going to be visiting the local comedy club this was ideally situated. On arrival we were lucky to get parked right outside the front door. Parking is free over the weekend but charged Mon to Fri for a limit of 3 hrs. Diane booked us in quickly and efficiently and showed us to room 17 on the ground floor. The room was well appointed with multiple power sockets and 4 USB charging points beside the bed. Good free WiFi. Room and toilet/shower very clean and tidy. Bed very comfortable for us. Great sleep. Breakfast was very nice. Fruit juices, teas, coffee, cereals fruit and a good selection of spreads.... even my favourite... Marmite!

Rooms were spacious and clean, tidy and furniture not dated looking. Customer service is top notch, we felt very looked after. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance and also the Kelvinbridge subway station 5 mins walk away, accessible by crossing road or by going down an underpass which goes through a river under the bridge - a very pleasant, scenic walk. This is actually quite a nice part of Glasgow. There is street parking outside the hotel - pay by meter or app, not very cheap, but it is outside the LEZ zone so very helpful for us without a LEZ-compliant car. Rooms didn't have aircon but had high ceilings and there was a fan provided which was sufficient as the room just never got very warm, just right. We had dinner at Paesano Pizza which is a few mins walk away from the hotel - very nice Italian style pizzas. I'd definitely come back here again if I come back to Glasgow for a visit.

The room was quite small and the bathroom very snug, but everything else was wonderful. The staff were always pleasant and helpful, and the location was terrific, with many interesting dining options close by and an easy walk to Kelvingrove museum and the university. The bathroom, while small, worked very well, with a good shower and fan, which prevented a foggy mirror. I would return to the Albion if I’m back in Glasgow.

Small typical English hotel, not far from the centre, 20-25 minutes on foot, (bus no. 6 passes in two minutes and in 5-6 stops you arrive in the centre). We had a room on the ground floor, therefore with a window without a view and which could not be opened, it was also close to the kitchen, but fortunately in the morning we were not woken up by noises or food smells. Room therefore not very bright, large and comfortable bed, wi-fi working well. Breakfast (not included in the rate, to be paid separately) is freshly prepared to order, among some types to choose from. Good and plentiful. There is the possibility of parking on the street immediately outside the hotel. Saturday and Sunday are free while during the week until 6pm you pay a whopping £3 per hour at the parking meter.

Great small hotel, nice friendly welcome at check in, which I think makes all the difference. Very comfortable room, looked like it had just recently been decorated, loved the bathroom deco. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room Location is in a nice quiet area with a underground station 2 minutes away. I am often visiting Glasgow will definitely stay again great value for money.

I recently stayed at this hotel to attend a wedding. I was pleasantly surprised. Good location just off great western road and parked just outside in the street which was free at the weekends. Dianne at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and modern. Our room was large with a comfy bed and nice and warm. The breakfast the following day was great with a buffet to start with followed by a full cooked breakfast, great value for £10. Would definitely return

The Albion Hotel is a fantastic, small, family run hotel in the heart of the west end of Glasgow. Conveniently located to explore all the walks, restaurants and independent shops available in the locale. A subway station at the end of the road allows access to the city centre. This hotel is well presented and spotlessly clean. We stayed in the adjoining building to the hotel. The room was very clean with a small but modern and functional bathroom. The bedroom was also a very good size with an extremely comfortable bed. We were greeted by Diane who was most welcoming. We didn’t have breakfast on this stay but will certainly do so next time. The Albion has to be one of the best value hotels in the city providing great accommodation at an affordable rate. We will certainly use it as our go to hotel in Glasgow. The Albion has to be one of the best

Ideal location, handy for the West End and public transport along Great Western Road but not too close to the main road for traffic noise to be a problem. Very handy for the Glasgow Underground at Kelvinbridge station. The room was clean and warm with tea and coffee making facilities. I didn't order breakfast as it is very expensive at £9.50 so I can't comment on the quality of that. There are plenty of places in the local area where breakfast can be had at half that cost.
I certainly recommend this hotel for its location and comfort.

This hotel is basic and I mean basic. The room was small, the bed was soft, the bathroom ample, coffee and hot chocolate provided, and there was hot water. That’s it. There were no toiletries, like tooth brush, comb, shaving kit, cotton buds or hair conditioner, provided. So please remember to bring your own. The window to the other was the back yard which was the smoking area for staff. I was shocked that when I opened the blinds in the morning to see two of them smoking just at my window. Don’t expect too much from this hotel. However, I booked this hotel because it was conveniently located and I was just going to shower and sleep there anyway.

Myself and my husband an two friends of ours visited this weekend from Wales to see the Xmas markets and do a bit of Christmas shopping. The location is ideal with a subway really close by lots of restaurants and shops at end of street if you don't always want to go into City. The hotel itself has everything you need very cosy and clean. Hotel staff were very helpful and even booked us taxis to and from airport which worked out alot cheaper. Would highly recommend staying here and will definitely visit again ourselves .

Car parking on the streets around at a fair price and cheap overnight and very cheap for weekend. Never failed to get on the same street as hotel. Very small charge for arrival late in afternoon for overnight and charge for a Friday afternoon lasts until Monday. Hope that helps. I do recommend the place.
There are more places to choose from in the Glasgow area.
