Booked to stay here for a weekend away in Dundee , and was blown away by our stay. The suites are located in a beautifully converted old mill , alongside a hotel and restaurant. From the start staff were friendly and welcoming, and we were quickly checked in . We had a king sized suite , and we were so impressed when we entered. A lovely kitchenette with a Nespresso machine, microwave and hob and all the equipment you would need for making a meal. Then a small lounge area with a TV which led into a king sized bedroom with another TV . From there a lovely en suite bathroom with shower and bath and toiletries. The rooms are well thought out , with well placed mirrors, plugs and charging points and even an iron & board. Downstairs in the suite is a bar and a pantry area where snacks, drinks and frozen ready meals can be purchased. Another benefit is the breakfast buffet served every morning offering a wide choice of both cooked and continental breakfasts and a range of other items from cereal, cold meats & cheeses, fresh fruit and yoghurt. It was all fresh ,and constantly topped up and you could even get tea and coffee from here 24hrs. The suites are very centrally located and easy walking distance from both the town centre and all of Dundee's tourist attractions. There were only two downsides: 1.The building signage, following the brown tourist board sign off the main road it was difficult to see the suites entrance, we had to go around the block twice to find it. 2, Car parking. The suites & adjacent hotel have very limited car parking which at £14 per night was very expensive. Recommend using the council car park opposite which was much cheaper and you just paid for the hours you parked there. Also its free after 6pm and before 8am. Apart from that its a fantastic place to stay , and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Dundee.

Booked two nights for myself and hubby and a treat for my 84 year old mum. We booked a suite with full kitchen for us and an accessible room for my mum. We have stayed at Staybridge Suites in Abu Dhabi and London so know and love the concept. We used the car park on East Port St which had plenty of spaces. Beware though of parking on the road as the wardens were round regularly with plenty of cars getting tickets.
We were given a lovely friendly welcome from the reception staff and also thanked for being IHG members. The rooms were fantastic. Extremely spacious with everything you need for comfort and practicality. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom had a lovely walk in powerful shower with rainwater shower and lovely smelling toiletries.
The rooms are nicely thought out too with plugs by mirrors for hairdryers. Nice that there was a safe in the room too. The kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, fridge with a small freezer compartment, microwave grill and 2 ring hob.
We ate in Daisy Tasker the first night but sadly myself and hubby didn't enjoy our meal (maybe we selected wrong from the menu) as my mum had the fish and really enjoyed hers. The second night we decided to take advantage of Marks and Spencer across the road with some lovely food which was easy to cook in the kitchen.
The breakfasts provided were excellent with a great choice and the scrambled eggs were absolutely delicious.
The room was very warm (not sure the air con was working as we couldn't get it below 18 degrees) so we opened the windows but it was very noisy.
This is now our new stay for our regular trips to Dundee but next time I think we would request a room overlooking the courtyard as it may be quieter.

Roughly 7- 10min easy walk from Seagate Bus Station. From Dundee Train Station, I think it would take around 20min walk (recommend taking a taxi, not costly £7 if I remember correctly in Dec 2023).
To get into town, we can use bus or we just walked it around 10min stroll.
5min walk to a nearby M&S Foodhall and Cafe (fantastic).
Check in: smooth Room: spacious and bright enough at night. Quiet, we had good sleep. Bed: comfortable Toilet: clean. Shampoo, soap supplied. Kitchen: sink, dishwasher + wash tablets, microwave, electric stove x2, plates, bowls, mugs, spoon fork etc. Corridor: cold. Clean. Gym: don’t bother. Laundry: 3 washer ok (30min cycle), all 3 dryer didn’t work, couldn’t dry even after 2hr. Informed the hotel. Full of dog hair on the floor!!! Breakfast: don’t bother. Go to M&S. Trust me. Car park: not free but rate is ok, not too steep like in other cities eg Oxford. A nearby car park is cheaper, but 5-7 min walk away.

Well located with easy access into the city on foot. It is in a converted jute mill shared by Hotel Indigo. Parking is very limited and we noticed many guests left their cars anywhere they could i.e. not in marked spaces. This is really not necessary since there is a good public carpark (East Port) less than 1 minute walk away which is actually cheaper (24h rate) than the hotel car park. We had a very warm welcome and were soon in our room which was bright and airy thanks to very high ceilings and huge windows.
Rooms are very well equipped with all you need to feed (if you don't want to go to a restaurant), relax, sleep and keep clean. Beds and pillows are quite firm. The over-tub shower was excellent if slightly over-powered on maximum. Good quality toiletries are included.
The included breakfast was good. Maybe not as many options as elsewhere, but more than adequate and good quality. We were there on Easter Monday which was really busy, but the staff did a fantastic job replenishing stocks. We ate dinner in the Daisy Tasker restaurant located in the Indigo hotel. Quality was good and prices OK, although I still cannot get used to paying £10 for a large glass of wine. Staff were all very pleasant.

Great location and very comfortable, we stayed in the King suite 25m2 and it had everything we needed, full kitchen with hob, fridge, microwave, Nespresso machine and dishwasher. The room also had a king size bed, large TV and walk in shower. Plenty of room for 2.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between 17:30 and 18:30, they do social time where you can get free beer, wine and snacks and if you like, chat with other guests, this I thought was a nice touch, just a shame it was not every night.
Breakfast is complimentary consisting of hot food, cereal, fruits, pastries, fruit juice and coffee, it is only on until 9:30 on weekdays which I thought was a bit early for finishing.
There is a bar and a small area selling groceries, it is however expensive so a trip to the local Tesco is a better option, it’s only a 10 minute drive.
Parking is also available but is very limited with only about 15 spaces, it is also £12.50 per day.
Overall a great place to stay and located very close to all Dundee has to offer, a 15 minute walk and your in the heart of the City.

This brand new hotel a short walk from the train station is an ideal place to start your exploration of Dundee. Linked with hotel Indigo which shares the same property, our suite was well appointed with comfortable furnishings and a full kitchen if you want to cook. Lots of USB ports and two TVs.
Very pleasant staff who are most helpful. Rooms are refreshed daily with big bath towels.
The only minor drawbacks were: no milk for the coffee pods and they ran out of coffee pods for the Nespresso. No premium channels and computer connections to the TV was difficult
The breakfast was typical hotel buffet fare…. Not my favorite but it seems to be a standard despite its mediocrity.

someone tried to talk to my wife in chinese but she is from thailand and doesn't speak any chinese. the room was nice but it was underground and you could see peoples feet walking past on the pavement above. wee kitchenette so my wife could cook my tea - sent her to M&S handily across the road to buy the gear. free breakfast advertised in the restaurant was not possible as it had all been troughed. lots of frantic looking women running around searching for toast. not enough ornaments in the room it felt a bit sparse. the lobby smelt of hot chocolate. went for meal in restaurant one night but it was still frozen in the middle. would ask for higher up room next time and get a taxi into town for food.

Its a cool building (old jute factory) in a good location for the waterside attractions
Always a cheery welcome at reception which has a selection of basics as well as ready meals to buy (your room has a microwave)
The rooms are nicely appointed with comfortable beds & was that 2 TVs I counted- bedroom & sofa area? The rooms are very tall with brick ceilings
The collect & go bagged breakfast option is fine (you choose a fresh hot roll & hot & cold drink to go with it) but you probably wouldn't want to go more than 2 or 3 days with the same choice- i had my first Actimel & Kelloggs nutribar here. Wasn't sure why there is a random babybell in there with no crackers or plain rols (imho they could axe that item)
Very good covid credentials & a very clean hotel
One fiddly thing- parking isn't free & during the time i was there looked to be always full. Not a problem as a council car park (slightly cheaper) is close by & a long way from filling up right now but you have to pay (8am to 6pm) according to quite wide time limits
In this new world hotels don't clean the room everyday. I would recommend a cheap loo brush to be left in each bathroom
Overall good choice and fair value

We had a great start when they let us park the Tesla in the electric bay and borrow a trolley for all our bags. Really friendly check in by Alice. Room 202 was a lovely suite with a kitchenette at the entrance then a small lounge, through to the bedroom and then to large bathroom with a very good shower over the bath. Lovely level of finish and the décor was in shades of grey with fabulous bare brick ceilings. Photos of its history as a jute mill were a nice touch as well. The Wi-Fi was excellent and there were loads of charging points by the bed etc. First night we had takeaway meals from Daisy Tasker: chicken korma and fish and chips, both delicious and piping hot. Breakfast had an excellent choice and we liked the option to take it back to the room, although we only did that once. The evening social with wine and beer plus generous food: pate, cheese, crisps etc. was a fantastic idea and a chance to chat to the hotel managers informally. The location is quiet and a few minutes walk from the centre and the waterfront - and has a new Marks & Spencer food hall opposite

Stayed for first time in October for a couple of days and was so impressed by the location, the staff, the room features and how well the hotel handled covid regulations
Location
Easy to access by car through an easy drive from the west along the riverside, easy to find hotel. Train would be easy too as it’s a ten minute walk from the station. I’d avoid the small car park at the hotel and use street or a couple of local council car parks at East Port or Olympia centre - all are free 6pm to 8am but Olympia is the cheapest to park at in the day for £7 which id say is decent for a city centre. Hotel is less than 10 mins walk from city centre shops and 2 mins from a retail park that includes M&S.
Staff
The check in was well organised meaning minimal contact. Staff always pleasant when passing, same as the housekeeping staff
Room
Had a one bedroom suite room with a seperate lounge, retained the character of the old building but was so modern. Bathroom had great water pressure like you would not believe which led to great showers, was rain shower over the bath. Lounge had sofa and a large tv. Kitchen area was really good with fridge dishwasher (even dishwasher tablets) plenty of plates and glasses, toaster, hob and a microwave / grill oven - my only negative point in the whole hotel was that I assumed it was a combi with oven and bought food to cook but it wasn’t so I’d bear that in mind. The bedroom was very comfortable king size bed, room also had ironing board and free safe which was big enough to take a laptop.
Covid
Hotel was well covered with guidelines and the breakfast was well managed and much better than other staybridges. Choice of two hot breakfast rolls, grab bag which was great quality with a muffin, choice of cereal, cereal bars , fresh fruit, yogurt, actimel drink and fruit juice. The seating area was available to eat at or you could take it back to your room. One idea might be to supply a couple of slices of bread which people could then make toast in their room. Free tea and coffee 24:7 was a nice touch
The pantry was available to buy chocolate wine frozen food etc but with M&S across the road that would be my first choice
Overall the hotel is superb and I’ve little doubt I’ll stay here again when in the area
