Hawthornbank Guest House is a delightful Victorian villa built in 1873. It is pleasantly situated in a slightly elevated position, and has many rooms with spectacular views of Oban bay. We are close to Oban town centre in a quiet residential setting. There is off-street parking and a footpath leads from the front garden towards the town. We have facilities for bicycles and welcome cyclists.

We had a 3 night stay at the Hawthornbank Guest House. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. Great location - just a few minutes walk downhill into town. We enjoyed great breakfasts each morning. We would definitely stay here again!

Hi, We have a twin room on the second floor. It might be a bit too far to walk for your dad, depending on his mobility. Hope that answers your question. Morven sold the guest house in September 2016 - Ian
