First time here for my friend & myself. The whole experience, from the initial booking & having subsequent queries answered until we checked out was both professional & welcoming at the same time. Sarah & Mark couldn't do enough for their guests to ensure their stay was enjoyable without being overpowering as has been the case on previous occasions. A beautiful location, even though the guest house is on the main road, there is no problem with noise at nights. The room was spotless, heating was put on for us as it was cool & wet when we arrived, the refreshments tray was good with no problem about asking for extra coffee. Breakfast was delicious, set us both up for most of the day, all freshly cooked to order & with buffet items also available despite the current restrictions. We parked on the road, in front of the guest house for each of our nights there & had no problems with this. We would both definitely recommend this guest house, if we can ever go back to the area, we'll definitely be staying here again.

Never stayed in Guesthouse before. The Ferns was a wonderful place to stay. Very quiet and scrupulously clean. The breakfasts were cooked fresh and matched or even surpassed in quality breakfasts I've had in 4 star hotels. This was a great experience and the hosts were friendly and full of knowledge and tips about where to visit

Another lovely stay. We travelled as a family me my husband our daughter and grandaughter. We had the same rooms that we had for our previous stay so it really felt like home from home. This time we had breakfast it was delicious Fantastic poached egg worthy of any 5 star establishment. Sarah was lovely and couldn't do enough for us at breakfast made us feel really welcome. This really is a wonderful place to stay so much so we going back in October. Can't wait.

What a lovely stay at The Ferns Guesthouse! Mark and Sarah are doing a great job, super attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. The room was very clean too, as well as the communal areas. Absolutely no cons! If my partner and I visit Snowdonia National Park again, we will definitely be staying here again and opting in for the breakfasts as they smelt divine.

Hello B & J, Thank you for taking the time to give us this review. We really appreciate it. We're really pleased that you had such a good time here in Snowdonia and we are impressed with the amount of mountains climbed in the time you had with us. Your early start strategy certainly seemed to pay off! It was lovely to meet you both and to have you stay with us and maybe next time you might have a lie-in one morning and have breakfast with us?! All the best Sarah and Mark
