It takes a lot to beat Glan Gwna. A wonderful natural park, family owned and in a beautiful setting. Natural features such as a flowing river, park lake make this park quite unique. A pleasure to deal with too.

After coming here 3 times in the last year we thought it would be a great place to bring the wider family and as usual found the place to be as good as previous visits, until the Saturday night which we had decided to eat out in The club house as we hadn't eaten in before but

Thank you for the review. We must point out that yes, there was a private function in part of the bar - However, meals were being served up to 7pm and then from 8pm onwards to allow for this busy period. This was explained to anyone ordering between 7-8pm. Expenditure values over a year won't dictate decisions to serve or not to serve food - as I'm sure will be the case in all restaurants. If the kitchen is busy, it is only fair to be advised - as you have clearly stated.

We visited a lovely chalet at Glan Gwna in October. It was a lovely quiet site at that time of year and a good base for us to hike Snowdon and other routes. We had some food in the cafe bistro place the night we arrived and it wasn't very good. We could hear the microwaves

We stay in the chalets every may as we have family here. It's an excellent location and very relaxed. On-site pub/ cafe/ park/ walks/ rivers. Lots of activities nearby for all the family. We have been coming for the past 7 years.

Overall the campsite is large and has a small cafe, shop and bar on site- I wouldn’t recommend going September onwards though as the park is extremely quiet and there’s not much atmosphere. I was disappointed as we were told that the pool is open until 9th September as

There’s always 2 sides to every story.... that includes the truth !! The pool is open and it clearly states on the sign that a key can be obtained from reception. Due to the nature of the business, holiday parks do go quieter once the School holidays finnish - common sense would tell you that. The beauty salon is open by appointment. There is a reception on the park which is open 7 days a week - people are welcome to ask for information here and information is in fact provided. Thanks for the poor score !

Are bedding and towels/tea towels provided?
As a park - we don't rent accommodation. There are private chalet owners who rent their chalets, you would need to speak to the person you rented the chalet from.
