Nothing was too much trouble so I imagine they would look after you well. Why not email them. I know they are very good if you have a dog, so imagine children would be welcomed.

Hi, although we stayed in a Hilly Hut last weekend, it was very mild and the heating is under floor so we turned it off. The one we had (number 4) was quite shaded in amongst the trees so I would think only the deck and hot... More

You could go to the local village called Broadway. There are plenty of tea rooms there. I hope that answers your question?
