I just love The Broadway Hotel any time of the year. In the winter there's a cosy log fire and comfy chairs to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. In the warmer months you can sit outside and watch the world go by. Food is always excellent from a sandwich to burger and chips. Never

We didn't stay at this hotel, but we visited Broadway briefly to stop for food. I am vegan and the majority of Broadway village hasn't really jumped on board with vegan food options. I was losing faith, but delighted to find this place. It had multiple options that were clearly

We stayed here for one night and, from the moment we arrived, it was just a charming experience. Fabulous, friendly and welcoming staff and being such an old building, it's just quirky and charming. Creaky and uneven floors and ducking heads to go past ceiling beams - just

Lovely dog friendly hotel in centre of beautiful Broadway. Went for a couple of nights recently with our border collie who was made very welcome. Had a great ground floor room with easy access to the garden. Only had bar food although there is a restaurant too. Food was tasty

This hotel is undoubtedly in a wonderful location, and has parts which have history. It also has the benefit of a car park behind, which is very convenient. The layout of the hotel is fair, with a new restaurant area inside existing houses which are now rooms. The themes of

Response from Cotswoldinns, General Manager at The Broadway Hotel
Responded 3 weeks ago
Thank you for you feedback. Clearly I am disappointed to hear that your room didn’t meet your expectations, I am sure you can understand that with a listed building from the 16th century such as The Broadway Hotel, inevitably some of our rooms are a little quaint, but are all furnished to a high standard. We have lots of regular guests who actually do request these rooms because of their individual character and quiet location within the hotel. If you stay with us again, we would recommend speaking to Reception to make your reservation as they can talk you through all the rooms available to find one more suited to yourselves. I am a little confused about the comments about the reception desk being next to the toilets as this is not the case - they are down a corridor with a door separating the two areas. We are glad you enjoyed your breakfast with us but again disappointed to hear about your evening meal. I would love to hear more about why so as customer service and food is normally where the Broadway Hotel team excels. If you'd like to get in touch regarding this, please email me on manager@broadwayhotel.info Kind Regards, Richard, General Manager

Hi there, sorry you couldn't find the info you needed on our website. Rooms 2, 3, 5, 20 and 23 all have UK King Size Beds, as do our Cottages (Bumble Bee and Manderley). Sorry it's not quite as simple as booking a 'good' or 'very good' room type - due to the age of the property, our rooms are all shapes and sizes! The best thing to do if this is a requirement is to phone us on 01386 852 401. Hope this helps!

Do the double rooms just have 4'6" beds?
Dear Guest The Broadway Hotel is a 16th century building this gives all rooms different features be it garden view, king size beds and or some of the double rooms do have standard double beds, the actual size is 4 foot 6" by 6 foot 3". Please call the hotel on 01386 852401, to talk through the different options with our reception team. Kind Regards, Richard

Thanks for your question. We provide full size Molton Brown toiletries in our bedrooms so that our guests can enjoy using the products as they wish, rather than being limited by the size of the small ‘throwaway’ toiletries that are more typically found in hotel rooms. Most of our guests really appreciate this little luxury and therefore respect our request to please not take these products home, as is signposted in the bathroom. If guests do want to take a bottle of Molton Brown home with them, they are more than welcome to purchase them from the hotel and the sign in the bathroom advises guests on how to do so. All our toiletries are freshly prepared for new guests, with bottles having been thoroughly cleaned, refilled and resealed with a pump dispenser. This ensures that hygiene is not compromised whilst also being very sustainable.
