We arrived yesterday and told we were given an upgrade. Quite excited as this never happens to us we went to the room. So disappointing, wallpaper coming off, dirty walls, mould in the bathroom and under the bed was items left behind and plenty of dust. We only looked under the bed as the remote for the tv was missing. The was a dated and very well worn room in need of some TLC. We made our way to reception and we were moving to a room directly below. This room was like we’d stepped into a completely different hotel, let alone a different room. We normally love the Radisson, our favourite being in Edinburgh but this was disappointing and we wouldn’t look to book again in case we are given one of the older rooms. Staff were lovely and helpful in the hotel but the correspondence before hand from an overseas call centre not so good. Breakfast was ok, with enough to chose from. Sadly we have now fallen out with the Radisson and will be looking at alternative hotel chains when travelling now. Would have been no stars for the original room.

Hotel's Favourite
We booked a cheap deal through Wowcher and as such expected a pleasant stay but perhaps nothing special. What we got was perfection! From the second we checked in (slightly early) we were made to feel like the most important visitors ever to stay there. The lifts were experiencing technical difficulties which they told us about immediately and they gave us 2 card keys to ensure we could always use them. Any time we came across a member of staff in the hotel we were asked if there was anything they could do for us. The room was delightful - spacious, immaculate, well decorated and temperature controlled by us. We made use of the safe and coffee/tea facilities. When we asked at reception for a couple more tea bags they brought up a huge selection of everything for us. The bed was very comfy, ideal for a good night's sleep, the room quiet and the shower had enough power to knock you off your feet. We were given a complimentary bottle of prosecco in an ice filled bucket which was a lovely touch although we didn't want it on check in so asked for it on day 2 instead which they were happy to accommodate.. Breakfast was outstanding! We had a time slot of our choice booked so there was seating for all. Everything you could possibly want, cooked and continental plus extras, and set us us perfectly for the day. Anything that became empty was refilled immediately by very happy and busy staff. A drink at the bar in the evening was a lot of fun thanks to a chatty and friendly barman. The location is superb, right in the heart of the city centre but in a quiet area away from rowdy bars. The parking was spot on, right under the hotel, and was discounted on check out by 50%. Leeds itself is a mecca of eateries, bars, cafes and shops. Never seen so many shopping centres in one place! More than enough to keep us busy for a 2 day stay. There was plenty of sanitiser around the hotel and everywhere was very clean and covid safe. They do not provide room service yet but I am unaware of any hotel which has begun room service since reopening and this was definitely not an issue. Our stay was a genuine 10/10 experience and I was rather sad when it was time to check out. This will absolutely become our first choice for staying in Leeds in the future and I would like to thank the whole team for such a wonderful stay.

Dont check in online as you will be charged twice, me and another couple at the desk complained. Will take 10 days for refund. Thanks. Room needs soundproof doors, could hear people in corridor as clear as in your room. Glass door on bathroom, no privacy. Food in restaurant bang average, prices high. Wet salad on the burger roll left it sodden. One good thing, location. 5 minute walk to the fdarena.

I'm a huge fan of Raddison and when I moved to Leeds I was keen to try this one. My fiancé and I came to the bar to have a glass of fizz to celebrate our engagement. Unfortunately noone was at the bar. We didn't know if it was open or closed as their were no sighs up. Reception was busy so couldn't enquire there. 3 staff members walked past us and put their heads down so we couldn't even get their attention. I felt they were very rude. So we turned and left. We were considering having our wedding at this Raddison but unfortunately after this experience we won't even consider it. Its such a pity as the hotel from what we saw of it looked beautiful. Shame we will never experience it. We went to the neighbouring Queens hotels and had an amazing time. We even booked a room and stayed we love it so much.

Couldn't fault anything apart from the comfort of the mattress. The staff and breakfast was really good. Definitely stop again. Would recommend for travel goers to use this hotel. Location is good and plenty of restaurants around the hotel.
