We travelled with two adults and two children and stayed in an Exec Suite with club lounge access. Can’t fault any aspect of our stay. Front desk- helpful Leisure staff - polite and chatty and despite boiler problems we enjoyed the dip and relaxation Bar staff - Darren was great and was so good with his staff who in turn were eager to learn. Espresso Martini was lovely and one was made by one of the younger staff for the first time! Great. Club Lounge - great attention to detail. One quiet evening we were even allowed to bring in the children. We had been sitting with them outside. That was special. Breakfast - continental served in club lounge but main restaurant had the cooked breakfast. Lovely food choice. Parking - pricey but secure and no problems All in all a relaxing break for us. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. Thanks to all staff we met. We will be back - with and without children!!!

This was our third stay this year and overall thoroughly enjoyable. Initially checked in to Room 601 which wasn’t what I expected as my Spire Elite Profile stipulates a room away from the lifts. On speaking to reception I was advised that there was a NS (near stairs) on my booking. No idea who put that there but due to another reason we were moved to Room 623. Breakfast was excellent both in the main restaurant and the Continental breakfast in the Club Lounge. Certainly in the main restaurant the staff were very friendly and efficient. We utilised the bar downstairs each night of our three night stay and again, the staff were excellent. Special thanks to Cabrel and off course Darren the Manager (or Jack of all trades I called him!). Quite happy to roll up his sleeves when required, great sense of humour, helpful, friendly and obviously respected by his staff. We did have a few issues during our stay but they were rectified promptly enough for me not to detail them here. I will however make one recommendation for the Club Lounge. The selection of alcoholic drinks and food isn’t up to the standards we have had at Manchester Airport and Heathrow Airport. On our previous visit we discovered that there was no complimentary Prosecco between 17:30 and 19:30 so immediately went to the bar downstairs. On this latest visit we brought our own Prosecco as my wife only drinks sparkling wine. It’s not expensive especially when purchased at trade prices, so I would like the CP Club Lounge to up its game here.

Stayed overnight sat to sun with wife and 2 daughters as we had come to leeds for university open day… car parking good and very reasonable given we left car on Sunday and went shopping and only charged £15… breakfast really good… shower power very poor…found a hair band and empty biscuit wrapped tied around smoke alarm in room…youngest daughter clocked it when she was lying on her bed and god only knows how long it has been like that… clearly Someone has been smoking in there previously….bar was okay. Club lounge but no idea how you get to use it as it wasn’t explained to us and out key card would not let us in… would stay again but better out there…

Stayed overnight on a business trip. Well located for my needs and a short stroll to the City centre. Both room and hotel were clean and checknin was polite and efficient. Parking was extra and I would have at least liked a discount as a resident.

The fabulous staff made it 5* for us especially Patrice. I was staying with my sister and my two kids (4&2) and arrived in a bit of a kerfuffle, carrying far too much stuff and my youngest crying & v upset because she'd been woken up after the car journey and then I realised her milk was leaking from a bag all over the reception floor! Patrice could see I was stressed and checked us in quickly and was SO lovely and understanding. After we got to the room and calmed the youngest down we came back down for dinner as didn't fancy going out for a meal after a long day out at a local attraction. I hadn't realised you had to prebook the restaurant and found it was fully booked. Patrice overheard and went out of her way to squeeze us in. I was SO grateful, I'm not sure how I would've coped wandering the streets in the dark with two tired preschoolers looking for a restaurant 😆 She also got us a good time for breakfast the next morning! Breakfast was great, my 4yr old was in her element. Ashleigh working in the restaurant was equally as lovely, cheerful and helpful. The next day we used the swimming pool after checkout as 12:30 was the only slot left but this was fine as we could get showered and changed in the changing rooms there afterwards and towels were provided. We walked into town with the kids for a bit after breakfast then walked back and used the pool before we drove home which I'm really glad we hung around for as kids loved it! They have a perfect seperate little pool for them to splash in. Numbers allowed in limited so felt quiet and nice and relaxing. My sis and I took it in turns to enjoy the jacuzzi and steam room etc while the other played with the kids, really enjoyed that!! Ryan who worked in the swimming pool was also so friendly and helpful, giving us a huge private changing room to get changed in all together and room to keep the little ones pram in too. We booked a suite and the room was fab, especially the huge bath! The girls enjoyed running between the two rooms and playing hide and seek! The only negative i would say is to make sure you prebook everything in advance as I hadn't realised we had to do this.. restaurant for dinner, breakfast slots and swimming pool slots, if you want most popular times as they go quick. Probably just me not being used to travelling post pandemic! Overall a great hotel and although we seemed to be the only family with young children at the time that I saw (mainly couples or families of older children) we found them to be very welcoming and family friendly indeed! Thanks again for a wonderful stay :)
