Mw wife and I stayed here in early December whilst our son was having a major operation at the nearby Queen Elizabeth hospital. Although the main hotel was closed, we were able to stay in one of the 3 apartments in a nearby building. The public hotel areas all appeared very Covid secure. The apartment was nicely fitted out with good quality furniture . kitchenware and big TV's in lounge and in the bedroom . Free parking (via a permit) was also a nice bonus as we were able to leave the car at the hotel and walk to the hospital. The biggest plus point however for our stay was the flexibility and support shown by the team during our difficult time. A big thank you to all especially to Billy. Note: Only issue I had was the WIFI which was a bit temperamental and appeared to block certain sites such as iPlayer and Netflix.

Booked this hotel as it was reasonably priced and located close to the venue I was attending for a training course. Well-exceeded by expectations. Extremely clean premises, rooms are well thought out with excellent amenities. The bed is even comfier than my own and I slept great! The shower is very relaxing - high pressure. You have full control over the room heating and it gets very warm very quickly. Room service is prompt. The breakfast was delivered to my room (due to limited numbers allowed in the restaurant area to remain Covid-19 secure). It arrived at exactly the time I had requested and was delicious - great full English. Something not widely advertised by the hotel (or that I had seen) is that you get full access to gym and swimming pool facilities on the university site whilst staying with them. Didn't expect such a relaxing, enjoyable few days - 5 stars.

As part of Health & Safety training this venue is a must, guy on reception so efficient (apologies for not getting your name), venue spotlessly clean, even list on back of toilet doors was a genuine record and not just signed to tick a box, food on time and a variety of hot and cold to suit all tastes. The staff were discreet and made the whole experience just work..... well done all and thank you for keeping us all safe.

We have stayed at this hotel several times before although this was the first time since the new restrictions have been in place. The hotel managed the adjustments well and had adapted to allow for a pleasant and comfortable stay. The room had been thoroughly cleaned before arrival and smelled fresh. Rooms are not serviced each day as they used to be, however the staff were extremely friendly and requests for additional items e.g. tea and coffee supplies, were dealt with swiftly. The restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient; nothing was too much trouble and they even remembered our preferred drinks from one morning to the next. I would be happy to stay there again.
