I stayed here for one night due to work commitments locally. The management team did their due diligence (i.e. documentation, ID, etc) in making sure that it was a legitimate essential work reason - I did not mind that at all. Usually I would stay at the Staybridge Suites nearby, however, they insisted on asking non-sensical questions that did not make any sense or relate to my work! Therefore, I opted for SC. The Guest Relations Manager took upon herself to personally book my reservation and verify all the documents, even though it was late in the day, 18.45 - very impressive. As for the apartment (Clubman): - Reasonably priced. - Well equipped kitchen - all utensils, white goods, coffee pods, breakfast granola and oats and to my surprise, a selection of oranges to use with the juicer. - Good quality bathroom with a large bathtub and shower with adequate pressure, which is often not the case in many serviced condo-hotels. An excellent selection of toiletries as well. - Comfortable double bed with good quality linen. Overall, a very pleasant stay, albeit for 1 night only. …
We stayed in one of the flats on the 17th floor. The flat was beautiful with an amazing view. We had the afternoon tea & it was delicious and beautifully presented (there were also fresh oranges in the fridge and a juicer for fresh juice which was a really nice touch). The location is perfect both for looking out over and exploring Birmingham & the check in staff were really friendly & helpful. All in all - a really great stay!
Right in the centre. This is a great place to stay staff friendly and very helpful. Apartment was massive with views over Birmingham. For car park go to Bullring centre car park you want to be on second floor to exit the right one! Very easy to get to etc! Great to be right in the middle of the town, windows open all the way!! Overall would recommend
Amazing trip to Staying Cool with dinner provided by the brilliant folk from the Wilderness Restaurant. All the food was excellent - so it's hard to select a favourite dish. Suffice to say, I asked for all the recipes! Not only did we have a magnificent dinner, but a perfect restorative breakfast was also brought to us the next morning. The rooms are lovely, clean, comfortable and great attention to detail. And the views from the 20th floor of the Rotunda are spectacular. The Staying Cool staff were friendly, helpful and always on hand when we needed them. Can't wait for my next trip there.
Had a fantastic night at Staying Cool with food by the Wilderness Restaurant. The food was amazing, all of it, and the views across Birmingham from 20 floors up were breathtaking. The food was all served and delivered to our room, and we had a breakfast pack of Wilderness breakfast that we just heated up so breakfast was also delicious. Staff were really lovely. Top marks - couldn't fault it.
