Stayed here for 1 night while in the area. Very impressed with the rigorous Covid 19 protocols. Seemed very rigorous and practical at the same time. Room good and excellent shower. Pub next door served excellent evening meal and breakfast. All in all would return and recommend.

Stayed here for one night as we had a dinner reservation at Simpsons restaurant which is opposite the hotel. Beautiful hotel decorated tastefully with good quality fixtures and fittings. The hotel and our room were spotless and smelt clean and fresh. We felt safe in respect of Covid and there were ample hand sanitizers dotted around. There was complementary tea and coffee in reception which was nice and free car parking was a great bonus. We popped in the pub next door for a drink and it had a lovely atmosphere. We had breakfast in there the next morning and the food was cooked to order and was delicious. A great find, would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

This small boutique hotel is located in the 'village' of Edgbaston separated from but close to Birmingham city centre. Beautifully furnished rooms, some with free standing baths as well as en suites. A friendly welcome with bottled water in the rooms. Excellent eating in the next door gastro pub both at dinner, where a fuss was made over my wife for her birthday and for breakfast too.

Stayed here with my colleague ready for work the following day. Its been having a bit of a face-lift by the looks. Codes for the room doors and front door sent via email prior to arrival. First impressions good, the whole place smells so good and this is throughout. The decor is great in the reception, the hallways and the rooms. The adjacent pub which is part of the same establishment is also really good. The social distancing rules are being fully adhered to. Staff very good, friendly and attentive. The food was also great, I can highly recommend the hummus flatbread, the vegetarian curry and the banoffee pie. Well done the high field

We loved our recent Sunday night at High Field after dropping daughters off at the nearby university. The room was beautiful and thoughtfully furnished, all the staff we met were relaxed and happy and helpful. Breakfast is next door in the very stylish pub - great veggie and vegan options and nice that there was plant milk in the mini fridges at the hotel too. Really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be able to go again when visiting our children
