Staff and service exceptional especially from Charlotte on the front desk, who always knew your name ( which in my opinion means a lot and very professional), location was great with fantastic views. We had river side studio suite which was very spacious immaculately clean. Highly recommend this hotel

Hotel's Favourite
We spent a very enjoyable two nights at the brand new INNSiDE Newcastle, checking out earlier this week. We went for their largest room - the ‘Townhouse’ - which was fantastic. At approximately 500 square foot it’s more like a spacious one bed flat, giving a true ‘home from home’ feel with all the modern amenities as well as welcome luxuries like bathrobes, slippers, a Nespresso, two televisions (one with Chromecast) and several large dual aspect floor to ceiling windows giving unobstructed views of all the bridges. Decor is lovely, light and bright with a large bath and separate shower. Breakfast was also very good for the money and the hotel is pet friendly which was a bonus, too, as it meant we could bring our small dog, Merlin. I never managed to use the gym (located on the first floor with their business suite) but it looked well equipped. Parking is a downside as it’s very limited with no option to pre-book and only about 12 spaces, but there’s other options close by including a public car park behind the neighbouring Wetherspoons. There’s a Gino D’Acampo restaurant on the ground floor (which also serves as the breakfast area) which does lunch and dinner and which we found to be surprisingly good when we dined there on the first evening. All in all, a stunning new addition to the ever-popular Quayside area and my new go-to for future visits to the city. Book this hotel!

Dear doctorbenedict, It was great to have you (and Merlin) stay at INNSiDE Newcastle and thank you for such a a wonderful review. Sometimes I have to remember we are only 8 weeks old as a hotel but really encouraged with some of your comments - we worked hard pre opening to identify some unique guest touchpoints across the hotel and I am glad you enjoyed both the product and the service we provide. As a frequent TripAdvisor reviewer, your 5 star review means a lot. Thanks Calum

Nice and helpful staff checking us in. Location is great in Quayside, quiet and away from real busy places. Room itself is very modern and facilities were great in every way. Air con, mini fridge, safe all worked well. Lovely big shower. Biggest bed I’ve ever seen in a hotel and it was pretty comfortable too but on the firm side. Parking was an issue as it’s very very limited but we parked around the corner. Would happily come here again.

Great stay, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was very nice, and comfortable, one day thing I would say is the bathroom wasn’t very private! It may be a bit awkward if you were sharing with a friend or family member rather than a partner! Location was also good, within walking distance from restaurants and bars. Parking wasn’t great but the hotel recommended a car park that wasn’t too far away. Would recommend, and would stay again if we were in Newcastle.

Dear laurameee26, Thank you for your wonderful review. Delighted to read that you were looked after the team who were both friendly and accommodating! The open plan bathroom is a feature of the INNSiDE brand and whilst we love it I understand why this would not be to everyone's taste. Lovely to read though that you would come an visit again if you were in Newcastle. Thanks Calum

Excellent restaurant, fab location. Only criticism is the size of the sofa bed which made it snug for a family of 4. Staff added a lovely birthday wish in our room for my wife and daughter. Very attentive without being too much
