As the caravan site was fully booked up for Jubilee week, we stayed in the two bedroomed chalet for two nights. Wayne was unable to meet and greet us when we arrived, but very swiftly phoned and sent someone round to the chalet to show us how all the electrical equipment worked. As soon as Wayne arrived back from his errand, he came rushing over to greet us and couldn't do enough for us. He said if we needed anything to phone him or ring his doorbell.

The chalet has a room with a double bed and a room with two bunks beds, which was great for the three of us. A bathroom with a very powerful shower, a kitchen with cooker, fridge, slow cooker and other equipment. There were tea bags and sugar provided on arrival. A large lounge with digital tv with Freesat, DVD player, so all we needed for our two night stay.

Lovely long sofa which you could sleep on if necessary and two matching comfy armchairs.

Even though the campsite was full, we heard no noise from the people in the caravans.

Entrance to the campsite is via a securely locked entrance gate and you need to buzz to obtain entrance, which was no problem at all and makes you feel extremely safe whilst in the campsite.

Can highly recommend the chalet and the campsite, which has a playground for children, a new toilet block on site and new picnic benches

Thanks Wayne and Miles we will return again soon

Stayed here for May bank holiday. We all enjoyed our stay. Our kids loved the play park and seeing the farm animals. New toilet block is lovely and always immaculate. We cant wait for our next visit. Such a peaceful site. The owner does a chinese order for anyone that would like one and goes and fetches it on a Sat night which i think is a good idea. Yes the owner does have cameras installed in certain places but this does not affect anything except keep things undamaged,. This site is now in our top 5 and we will definitely be returning soon

Just come back from a two night stay. Lovely park with nice facilities, Shower block was immaculate. Wayne the owner, was one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, runs everything himself usually, (Sometimes has help from his daughter) and could not be more helpful. There is a small shop on site. He was telling us he is updating the kids playground with new equipment ASAP. Power is extra, expect to pay about £3.00 per day, but our pitch had a water tap which was useful. There is a laundry room with dishwasher. TV reception was brilliant, we picked up around 105 channels, however, on the downside internet reception was virtually non existent (for us) in the area, but that was not the fault of the site. We paid £25pn plus power, which we thought was very fair these days. Overall, highly recommended.

Very friendly welcome from Wayne. Immaculate facilities, best I've seen. Very peaceful site. Play area for children although none here during our stay, as it was outside school holidays. Metered electric for 3 nights cost us £3.10. in total.

The 2 stars I have given this campsite are purely for it’s location. It is in a gorgeous area & has gorgeous views. This site has the potential to be amazing as so many others have said.

Alas it it let down by its current toilet & shower facilities & the fact that other than a sign saying use hand sanitiser it doesn’t seem to have made any Covid 19 risk assessments at all.

I won’t rehash what others have out but 2 toilets, one a full & stinking portaloo are not sufficient for the amount of people who were staying.

The owner threatened to close them because he actually had to clean the toilet at a time when cleaning & sanitising should be happening frequently anyway. There was zero evidence of this & the toilet/shower have not been deep cleaned for a very long time. Given we were told that the toilets & showers were open on booking the safety of their guests should be paramount. There was often no soap or sanitiser & having found a slot where I could dash into the shower at 11pm one night I found myself in a running shower with a step down to floor level in the pitch black as the sensor light couldn’t see me!

There was no hot water for washing up & the washing up area was pitch black at times until it got dark & the sensor lights in that area worked.

As mentioned before the electric hook ups are a bit haphazard, covered with plastic bags in the rain.

If the owner cared as much about the facilities as he did about his grass & electric gates then it would be a cracking little site. As it is I can’t recommend it at all!

I will admit I was a little apprehensive about our visit to this campsite. I read a lot of reviews around the rules and how they have to be kept to et cetera et cetera. We were also told we couldn’t drive a car to unload our tents and equipment due to the fact it had been raining. What I will say these rules did keep a very good campsite. It was in incredible condition and the area was beautiful. Shower blocks were great and there was a play area for the children and we had a whole field of 28 of us. Electricity bill was £2.85 for four days and we took everything including the kitchen fridge! Wayne was a really nice guy and really good with the kids. I would recommend this site to everyone.

We have been here since the beginning of July. Beautiful location. Very good site. Best toilets and shower facilities I've ever seen on a camping/caravan site. All brand new and are given several visits throughout the day by Wayne to make sure they are clean and tidy. However, I do feel that some visitors should show more respect for the facilities provided. Leaving tomorrow (9/8/21) as my son and his family will be coming to have 10 days after having two full weekends want a longer stay. We'll be back the day he leaves for a further few weeks. We have a granddaughter with special needs and she is always made welcome by Wayne who is very understanding and sympathetic towards her condition. We are booked up until the first week in September but hopefully will extend through October.

A brilliant little site. It's very tucked away but only a 10min drive into Much Wenlock which has everything you could need. We received a friendly welcome and shown where the facilities were. There were also fire pits for hire and wood you could buy. £5 for the hire of a fire pit and £5 for a big box of wood that lasted a few hours. The showers were hot and stayed hot. Would visit again!
Shower block in need of an upgrade but it was hot and clean. Planning permission has been applied for a new shower block.

Clean site, but that's all the good I can say. Second visit turned into a disaster. On our first visit my children were told not to play on the grassy areas as the automatic lawn mower was on (all day everyday of our stay) our 17 year old was stopped from using toilet facilities alone as he is under 18. We felt the owners eyes on us at all time which made us feel on edge, but we agreed that we would try another visit. Our second visit again felt eyes on us at all times, our two children slept on a blow up bed in the car(from technical problems within our caravan) to which the owner was peering into the window with a torch at 12.30 at night. When I had left the shower room at 8pm on thw following evening I was confronted by the owner about the issue of people sleeping in a car(on a paid for pitch) to which the owner had already cornered my alone 9 year old son wanting the loo as I'd walked out of the shower room. I now unfortunately have to stay the last night of our trip with upset, scared children as it is to late to pack up and travel home!

Wasn't keen on our 1st trip to return but now I know I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!
