I needed to spend one night in Oxford, to leave by train the next morning. The hotel is perfectly placed close enough to the railway station, but still convenient for the city. The room was clean and refurbished pretty well, which can be difficult in a old (and probably listed)

Room and view are fine, the only small disadvantage is lack of missing lift. Didn't go the breakfast, so have no tell about it. Staff is nice and very helpful. Located cross the street from Said Business school - very convenient if that's the visit of your visit.

Dear Sir/Madam Thank you for your review. We are the closes hotel in Oxford to Said Business School, just across the street. I would recommend trying our breakfast next time you visit us and I am confident that you will enjoy it. You can either pay £13.00 and have unlimited choice of English and Continental breakfast or you can opt for a drink and a toast or pastry and pay accordingly. We compensate the lack of a lift by offering portage on arrival and departure and the rooms are located only on the 1st and 2nd floor. Hope to be of service to you again in the near future. Yours sincerely Marzena James

View from room 208. The scaffolded building on the left has a very loud bar on weekend nights.
My days in Oxford is by walking and public transit. They are efficient and bus stop is near by. You don't really need a car there. Train station and bus terminal to outside the city is only 5 minutes away. If you do need parking, you can try the Worcester Street Car Park locating at 1 Worcester St, Oxford OX1 2BX, UK. It is just 5 min walk from the hotel. There may be more and y ou can also search google for other parking spots.

I am in a powered wheelchair have you rooms suitable??
Unfortunately we do not have rooms on the ground floor and to get to the first and second floor where the rooms are located you need to use the stairs. We also do not have a lift, therefore it is very difficult unless you are able to climb the stairs. We can keep the wheelchair at the reception and assist you with going to the room and back.
