Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The room was basic with old furniture and in need of refurbishment. Staff were not around or o the front desk, when pressing the front door buzzer the staff member was not polite. I will not be staying at this particular teavelodge.

Stayed here on work, it’s a good location, clean and nice at a good price, staff is very friendly and very helpful. I Highly recommend the place, would definitely stay here again if visiting Northampton. Would be even better if can be modernized a bit, but perfectly fine as it is.

The room was clean with a comfy bed, with staff that were friendly and helpful. Lovely to have a bath & shower. The corridors where a bit dated. The only downside was the nextdoor restaurant was expensive and not dog friendly. (nowhere else near by) So a guest microwave would have been a big help.

I often stay at the Travelodge when I am in Northampton. This hotel is quite quaint and meets my needs. Always clean and tidy, with friendly and helpful staff. It does need a bit of refurbishment, especially in the bathrooms, but overall is well kept.

Tired, outdated, shabby hotel in need of a full refurbishment! The staff are doing their best to keep the hotel up to some kind of standard, but despite this, it is the shabbiest Travelodge hotel I have ever stayed in! Travelodge should be ashamed of having this hotel in their portfolio!

Absolutely lovely hotel to stay in, beds are comfortable, shower is amazing and staff are so helpful. It’s so refreshing to stay somewhere where the staff will go above and beyond to help, I arrived with my little one, had help with carrying my items to my room, was able to add on breakfast separately when I realised I hadn’t included it in my original booking and you just get the feel that they can’t do enough for you. Just an overall wonderful stay and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

The hotel was very warm and quiet. Receptionist staff ( male) excellent. Very handy for the Miller & Carter. Very good road connections to the M1. Very good price for the room. The shower was incredible. It had a micro head and was very soothing. The water was very hot and the room very clean. The beds were comfortable.
