I am not sure how this hotel got 3 stars maybe it was precovid? What I do know is it does not comply with covid regulations now. You are free to make your own chioces I will say what was not 3 star about our experience. 1. No matress covers between us and mattress. 2. Cobwebs on wall corners. 3. Santiflow tiolet not mentioned in description. Very noisy all night. 4. Sheets clean and smelled fresh but pillows and duvet did not. 5. No breakfast but advertised as b&b 6. H&S: windows sealed closed. No clear instructions about fire escape

Stayed here for 1 night and it was well worth the money. Stayed in room 3 which was more than adequate for our needs. We had a few drinks in the pub too which was really nice and friendly. A leisurely walk into York alongside the river takes about 10 minutes and is very nice. All in all a very pleasant place to stay with good amenities at an affordable price. We will definitely stay again.

We loved our stay..had the four poster room. Was clean and tidy . Staff were super friendly. Its a lovely 15 minute walk along the river to town... will definitely come back. Stayed the previous two nights at a travel lodge and the bed here was far superior

This hotel was booked for me, and their website is better than the actual hotel. I found pubes in my room, so i wore my shoes when I had to cross the carpet, the bathroom had a strange smell, there was no shower mat, the walls are paper thin, i was disturbed the first night by the couple next door coming in late, they weren't talking loudly but i could hear them like they were in the room, the second night the man snored, the third night the other side had their tv on and I could hear these things so clearly they might as well been in the room with me. Then on leaving day there was no one to check us out. The wifi kept cutting out and the only good thing was the bed was clean. I would not have chosen this hotel if it had been down to me.
