Nice location, in a quiet area very close to the Vauxhall Park as well as Vauxhall bus and train station, Staybridge suites has a great relaxing lounge area for breakfast and evening social gatherings(Mon-Wed only). The studio room we were assigned was adequate for two people with a small kitchen that included a microwave oven which was a plus. The bathroom was standard. The hotel had a laundry facility which worked with a one pound coin which we found to be very reasonable and useful. There is a small fitness room in the basement which was a nice touch. The free breakfast served every day was adequate. The housekeeping services were mediocre with one of the housekeeping ladies a bit rude as she was not willing to service the room in my wife’s presence. Overall we found Staybridge suites a decent place to stay for short term.

We stayed here for 18 nights and found it perfect for our needs. The hotel lobby and breakfast area are spacious, bright and welcoming. The reception staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful at all times. We had a one bedroom studio which included a good sized, well equipped kitchen area. The room was well proportioned with a comfortable bed. All staff with whom we interacted were efficient and friendly. The hotel has a well stocked pantry with items for purchase and there are convenience stores nearby. The breakfast has a good range of self-service food and drink. Always a good start to the day. A couple of problems we experienced during our stay were dealt with promptly. Vauxhall Station is nearby with good underground and overground connections and buses run frequently along Albert Embankment. Definitely looking forward to returning!

We stayed 7 nights in this amazing hotel and it was an absolutely lovely & excellent stay!
Location is on a quiet street just 5/10 minutes from Vauxhall tube station which is well connected to all key places in central London. We took the tube daily and found it really conveniently located.
Rooms were spacious, comfortable and had great amenities. The size of every room is generous and it's very thoughtfully laid out. I also appreciated the daily light refresh housekeeping - just to make the bed & spruce up the room as it made such a difference.
Breakfast spread was generous and the dining area is beautifully decorated & great for lounging with books & board games. The hotel also provides free coffee and some snacks all-day which is a nice touch.
Every staff member we met was so friendly, pleasant & welcoming and this made such a difference. They make time to speak with you and never once rushed us.
Thank you for a truly wonderful stay! This is an amazing hotel and we hope to return again soon!

When looking for a place to stay in London for my partners 40th birthday (as I was surprising him with seeing a show) I came across this hotel in my search. Looking at the reviews I was very impressed with the scoring and how highly others had rated it so I booked it there and then. Among the reviews I saw that others had mentioned to the hotel in advance that they were staying to celebrate a birthday or other events and the staff had gone above and beyond to make sure that their stay was a good one. I thought what the heck, I'll give it a try myself and emailed the staff to let them know. I heard back within an hour to say that they would arrange a little surprise for my partner when we arrived.
Upon arrival, we came to the check in desk to see a board up that said that my partner was "Guest of the Day", which he found lovely. When checking in, the front of house staff were very good, informing me of their reward scheme, which I signed up to - and as a gesture of thanks was given some very delicious cookies to enjoy. I was also given a personalised letter that stated some of the amenities with a QR code that linked to more information. After a short wait while they ensured our room was ready, we were given our key and went up to the room. When going in to the room, we found that a little selection of goodies had been left, along with another sign welcoming my partner as the guest of the day. On the bed were some birthday balloons and the housekeeping had shaped a couple of towels into a cake and added some decorative confetti as well. This was a really lovely surprise and really made my partner smile as he was not expecting it so many thanks to the staff for this.
The room/suite itself was really spacious, with a kitchenette that was well stocked with all the utensils, crockery and glassware you could possibly need, along with a Nespresso coffee machine and the usual kettle. There was also a hob, sink and dishwasher. The bathroom was well lit and a really good size, with a selection of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, as well as a body lotion (all of which smelled really good. The bed was a good size, with comfortable pillows. The TV was also great as you can connect your own devices to it so that you can stream Netflix etc if there's nothing on the standard channels.
After a good sleep we went down for breakfast in the morning (weekdays 6.30-9.30 and weekends 7.30-10.30). There was a great selection of cereals, fresh fruit and other choices, along with a nice selection of hot food. You could help yourself to a variety of coffees from the machine as well as teas. A nice touch was various different types of milks and fruit juices all kept in a fridge that you could help yourself to as well.
Overall we were extremely impressed with our stay and will certainly be staying again in the future. Transport links were good, with Vauxhall Station/Tube a very short walk away (less than 10mins). Unknown to us it is also right next door to The Black Dog, a pub made famous recently by Taylor Swift. Thank you again to all the staff at Staybridge Suites for a wonderful stay.

We stayed at Staybridge Suites on 27th and 28th Oct. The rooms were as described on the website ie well equipped and comfortable (apart from a draughty window and a fire alarm at 1.40am!!) (false alarm) The reception staff were very helpful especially with our luggage both on arrival by taking things to our room and on departure by taking bags outside to our taxi. I would like single out for special mention the member of the catering team who helped me after I told the manager I would need Coeliac food (I think her name is something like Enika). She explained all the hot dishes including that I couldn't have the scrambled egg if also dairy intolerant. This was so reassuring as it showed her level of understanding of a Coeliac diet. The display had porridge pots, cereal and bread on the counter but she brought unopened cereal and bread to me so I could be sure there was no cross contamination. She also supplied small jam sachets as the muggles preserves were in open pots near the bread. And on Sunday she cooked hash browns for me as there were none on the servery that day and I couldn't eat the other potatoes as they were coated in flour. Obviously there could be cross contamination when serving food from shared dishes but I was fine and thoroughly enjoyed the things I could have (I was rather envious of the pastries that I couldn't eat). The restaurant was busy at times but we had no problem getting seated and the food was well supplied even when it was close to the end of the dining period.

Just Checked out after a 7 night stay with family. This is a wonderful place. Our rooms were modern, well appointed with a fully equipped kitchenette, spacious, great bathroom and quiet. Reception staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety to accommodate everyone. From Monday till Wednesday the hotel offers a free apero in the early evening with red and white wines, beer on tap and soft drinks with fruit, cheese and other delicious and healthy bites, it was charming. The house keeping was on point with the room serviced punctually and with quality each day. The location is on a very quiet street enabling a restful sleep each night. It’s very central to all places of interest. The trains and underground can be reached in just a few minutes walk through a park. I highly recommend this hotel for any type of traveler. Thank you for a great experience in London.

We've had the most enjoyable time at this unique hotel in London. It was our wedding anniversary and made us feel special by making us guests of the day and decorating the room beautifully. Receptionists were so lovely, breakfast had a broad range of options and included in the room rate. There's also free coffee and drinks in the lobby throughout the day, as well as a wide range of board games and table tennis. If feels like a home away from home. The room is very spacious, nicely laid out as in the photo with all the amenities to needed for a relaxed stay. Staff go the extra mile to make you feel at home. It's 2 blocks away from the river and it's a beautiful walk down the Thames, towards Westminster. We love the location and we could park on one of the side roads as it's free after lunchtime on a Saturdat. It's not the first time we stayed and we will definitely be back!

My husband and I spent a few days of vacation in London in mid-February. The hotel we stayed at was the Staybridge Suites London, in the Vauxhall area. This is the second time we have stayed here. We found the same very good services for which we chose the hotel the first time: tourist-oriented attitude from all members of the hotel team, from the reception to the kitchen and room cleaning, very good breakfast, the social hour where we were offered a glass of wine/beer and some quality appetizers and the excellent location, close to many of London's attractions. We would like to thank all the staff members we encountered during these days, especially those of Romanian origin and, especially, Mr. Florin Suciu and Ms. Cristina from the reception. We hope to see you again in good health.

I have to agree with all the other reviewers; this place is great! The staff are friendly and hard-working. Our room (a king suite) was compact, well-equipped, and clean. (People from North America - be aware that a king bed in the UK is about a foot more narrow than the US/Canadian king size. Not a big deal, but worth knowing in advance. In addition, washcloths aren't too common in the UK & they were not provided in our room. Once again, no big deal. We brought our own & dried them on the towel warmer in the bathroom.) For some reason, the website didn't mention all the amenities in the room (maybe this is an IHG thing?). In addition to a decently equipped kitchen (even storage containers!), there were USB ports, a kettle, a French press, a Nespresso, a toaster, a safe, and the more common things - hair dryer, iron & ironing board. And a laundry basket in case you wanted to use the free laundry in the basement. (some reviewers commented that there was a fee for the laundry, but there was no charge when we were there in September 2024). There were the usual large bottles of shampoo, etc. There was only a tiny shelf for them in the shower, however, so we ended up putting them on the floor. The fitness center was small but mighty. Cardio machines included two treadmills, an elliptical and a Peloton bike. There were the usual hand weights, plus a nice set of kettle bells & a big cable weights machine that, to our delight, had all its accessories, or at least all the pieces we were hoping to use. The website pictures show a couple of the large-seat physical therapy bikes. Those are no longer there, presumably replaced by that lovely Peloton bike. Breakfast was as good as everyone said it was. Lots of different selections, including my personal favorite luxury, cut up fresh fruit. Everything was good and if you like croissants, theirs were especially good. The breakfast staff never quit moving, keeping the many items stocked and the area as tidy as can be managed with so many people flocking around it. The hotel location is outstanding. Easy walking distance to an Underground station and to a fabulous walking path on the south side of the Thames. It's also easy to walk to the Tate just across the river. There are a pub and a lovely tea shop a block or so away. If you're going to London, this is a terrific place to stay.
