My husband and I stayed here for one night and we fell in love with our room. We loved the quirky details throughout the room, the rose gold tub overlooking the skyline, and the beautiful view of London. All employees were kind and helpful when we had questions. The hotel’s restaurant, Madera, had great food for dinner and breakfast.

A few reasons why I didn’t give Treehouse a full 5 stars:
- There is no parking at the hotel and the parking garage the concierge sends you to costs over 50 pounds a night. Way too expensive in my opinion.
- Unfortunately we were not told on arrival that to operate the elevator we had to use our room key. We went down to the bottom floor twice before a fellow guest told us how to operate the elevator. If at check in you are not told about the elevators and keys, just make sure you ask for clarification.
- The restaurant, Madera, has a DJ that plays every night. Our room was right under the restaurant, so we heard music until midnight when the restaurant closed. It was difficult to fall asleep before then with the thumping of the bass.

Despite the few setbacks, we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel!

What made our stay stand out from other hotels was the service from the staff, who worked hard to make sure everything was good, especially Iulia. We chose the hotel because it was dog friendly, and as well as putting us in touch with a trustworthy local dog sitter so that we could go to a show and providing a dog bed, they also provided extras like dog treats and a can of nice dog food. I haven’t stayed in other London hotels in this price range so it’s hard to make a direct comparison to anything else but, given the lovely location and the personal level of service, we were very happy with our experience. For us, it would be lovely if there were a few slightly cheaper room options/deals available so that we could make it our regular choice in London, but we recognise that it represents good value for the standard of service provided, the amazing views from the rooms and its central location. We also liked that they were trying to be a bit different from lots of hotels by being eco-conscious. I would feel really comfortable staying again with our puppy and hope that we can do so in the future.

Although I booked this relatively late, looked at other dates for this hotel and is quite expensive, and you may not get the room you think your getting and they say their giving you an upgrade, I booked the king size lookout, but there is no such room. I wanted a room that looked out towards the London Eye, it actually took 3 attempts and Melissa, who was working on reception in the evening sorted this and was on the day of arrival the most helpful member of staff we had encountered. However, in the morning the staff in the restaurant were very attentive, this was probably due to the fact at one point we were the only ones in the there eating breakfast, considering the price of the hotel, breakfast isn’t included and this is also very expensive. They also automatically add a service charge for drinks at the bar, was £7 for two gin and tonics, considering it was relatively early in the evening they didn’t have a many tonics and they only had slimline, wasn’t even a good brand of tonic. Would avoid the mini bar as the cost there is also very expensive, plus when you book in they add £125 for damages and incidental fees, just in case. I wouldn’t stay here again as thought too expensive.

Dear Andy, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I can only apologize with regards to the allocation not being what you hoped for, I'm relieved to hear the issue was resolved by the marvelous Melissa. Service charge is discretionary and upon request can be removed with no questions asked. We use Franklin & Sons Tonic which is a great British brand produced locally. Sorry to hear that you will be returning, given our central location, delicious restaurant, fabulous rooftop bar, cosy, well-appointed rooms and incredible views, we believe our prices are perfectly in line with our offering. Had high hopes for this hotel, looked amazing on the internet, however there were some major teething problems. Having read previous reviews I specifically asked for a room with a curtain across the bathroom as I was staying with my friend and we did not want to see each other in the bathroom (having said that, I would not want to see anyone on the toilet even my husband). So despite this and waiting almost an hour after check in time they put us in room without a curtain and we had to move again. I understand they are doing a retro fit to the rooms but as a new hotel why do this in the first place??
The twin beds are the smallest I have come across in any 'luxury hotel'
We had a meal in the restaurant as it was part of the deal, that was such an ordeal as my friend has intolerance not allergies. I understand they want to check these things but OMG it took an hour for her to get a plain grilled chicken breast and chips and about 10 conversions with different people, including the head chef. Additionally my food was cold ....
As we stayed in December soon after opening hopefully these are teething problems, but I fear not as we were told they are a lifestyle hotel..... I am still pretty sure even then your customers needs should be a little higher on your agenda.

We stayed for 1 night at Treehouse hotel. Staff, generally were kind and helpful, and stored our case before and after check in.

The room was an ok size, quite a lot of clutter, but ok. We stayed in room 1110, the view was ok, but not really much to look at, other than the BT tower. The bed was big, but rolled into the middle a bit. The pillows are big, 1 not enough, 2 far too much, my wife has had sore neck for 2 days since our stay. We were 4 floors below the bar, but could still hear the music, as well as hearing a lift, or something next to our room that was moving up and down all night.

We had hoped to go up to the roof terrace for a drink, but this was closed off for a private function. So we had a drink in the bar on floor 15. £16 for a mojito and £6.50 for a bottle of beer, as well as 12.5% service added to the bill, even though we were sat at the bar. There seemed plenty of spare tables, which we would have liked to have sat at, but were told to sit at the bar. Shame.

When we booked the room through Hotels.com, we booked breakfast as well, at £25 each. This turned into, in my opinion, quite a big con, and I'd suggest to not book breakfast when booking the room.

When we arrived for breakfast, we were given a menu, with meals and drinks priced, and were told the £50 spent for breakfast, was a budget. My wife had waffles which were £11 or so, I had a fry up at £17, and we had a coffee and a juice at £4 each. We weren't offered or reimbursed the £14 we hadn't spent.

Overall, its plenty clean enough, and a little quirky, was just massively disappointed with the constant cash grabs, and everything being very expensive, with added service charges on everything.

We booked the special deal, with king room with a view and breakfast for a special week end of celebration after lockdown.
The room was ready at midday, which was great.
The room decor is Scandinavian bare with quircky objects ( yellow plastic cuckoo clock....interior design ideas?!?!?)
The bedding and bed were super clean and ultra comfortable.
The view unusual above the BBC building.
The air conditioning was a little too noisy.
The diner at "Madera" restaurant tried to be vaguely Mexican, but they had no mezcal on offer. It was very expensive but cold with the air conditioning.

The staff were ultra friendly and helpful when we had problems with lifts and security doors.

The breakfast in the roof bar area was lovely, well presented and cooked but they had only "turkey bacon", which is unacceptable, even if we were told that the owner is Jewish... especially when they serve prawns at dinner!!

Good location for shopping and tubes, but at these prices.. only foreign tourists will come.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after our amazing weekend at this hotel! The hotel itself is in a brilliant location with outstanding views over London. The decor is great and I really liked the concept in general. Upon arrival, the receptionist, a fantastic guys called Izzy, upgraded our room as we were celebrating my husbands birthday. The room was brilliant, very comfortable with great views. We enjoyed a complimentary dinner at the Madeira, and our server was extremely attentive and helpful. The food was wonderful. The Nest bar at the top is really the best bar I’ve been to in London- brilliant drinks/service and atmosphere. Well done Treehouse, we will certainly be back and cannot thank you all enough for making this special birthday so memorable.

Positives first, I stayed in a Lookout King which was brilliant, the bed was so comfy, the shower heavenly and I loved the window seat! I needed to have a work meeting and so we held it upstairs in the treetop lounge which was amazing. The decor of the rooms and the hotel itself is so unique and quirky, I had an 8 ball and kaleidoscope next to my bed! And sockets next to the bed, a must these days! Oh and I got a welcome cupcake!!!

Negatives. I booked a lookout king, on checking in I was helped to my room by one of the concierge, we walked in and it had two single beds, no window seat. I explained that I had booked a lookout king, I wanted a window seat, I knew I wouldn't be going out, I had work to catch up on and so the window seat just sounded great. Apparently it was an upgrade, thank you but I'd like the room I booked please.
Second room was a double bed and no window seat so again I had to complain, at this point said concierge got a little frustrated and left and was replaced by another, shame because I had his tip in my pocket and I couldn't find him later.
Third time was a charm and I was finally in the room I had requested and paid for.

I was also one floor under reception (floor 14 if I remember correctly) and so I could hear the music from the restaurant playing until midnight and heard chairs scraping across the floor. It didn't bother me because I was up anyway, but if you want an early night, try requesting a lower floor.

Also, as someone else has mentioned, you're not told anything about room service, I noticed at about 9:30pm there was a little card, about he size of a coaster which explains you order via an app, they really should state this when you check in. I love the app option more than calling for room service, great touch!

I will definitely stay again, and would highly recommend them, they're a new hotel so maybe ironing out some issues. The location was perfect and I had a really great sleep. I'd just make sure when I check in that I'm put in the room I requested :)

We stayed at this location for a single night as part of a two night stay in london - the hotel is in a great location right next to all the shops in Oxford Circus and a small walk away from the Soho streets. As we checked in we were charged a pre authorisation fee of an extra £120 on top of our booking fee, so be careful for that as if unaware it may throw you off! We were told that if nothing was spent at the hotel that the fee would be released and paid back to us on checking out.
Our Fort King room had a nice view but it would have been better if we had been situated on a higher floor as a building was blocking most of it, and as the view is part of what we pay for I expected a little better.
The room itself had a great theme and atmosphere with cute plushes and cushions scattered about - give an impression that it would be great for families with kids.
Overall, the service was great, atmosphere was good and there isn’t too much to complain about except for the expenses but that’s on me for picking a high end hotel!

I have just come home from a staycation at The Treehouse Hotel. We booked the Skyline King and it was simply AMAZING. The room was just beautiful even down to the finishing touches. The little details just made it. The shower was absolutely dreamy - I would like one like that at home. The views were incredible and we never got bored of looking at them. We could even stream Netflix or amazon from our phones to the large TV and use the hotel app to order room service. The bed was super comfy and I never wanted to leave. And wow, finally a hotel with great blackout blinds. There were no bad points about the room at all.

We had dinner and breakfast at the Madera. The food was delicious and the service was great! We had breakfast as part of our package which was a great way to finish our trip. We also had drinks at the Nest which was so cute and quirky with amazing London Skyline views. I would def recommend popping for a drink here. As you can tell, we hardly left the hotel as we had loads of reasons to stay!

The hotel is just a short walk from Oxford Circus station and located close to all the shops and restaurants. Ideally located!

The staff were all so friendly and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble.

During these COVID times, the hotel was pristine and clean! They even provide a pack when you check in with masks and antibacterial gel. I thought this was a nice touch.

We would definitely recommend staying at this incredible hotel. From start to finish, our stay was just perfect! We will be returning.
