Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

I stayed 3 nights this time. As I booked the first two nights early, I had a 4th floor standard single room with garden view, the third night I decided a few months later and I asked for the groundfloor room I had last year. For me that room is actually perfect, so this will be

How far is the hotel from Oxford Street in walking?
You walk about 4 blocks south to Bayswater Rd and then turn east and walk along the north edge of Hyde Park to Marble Arch (total 30 minutes at a reasonable pace) where Bayswater turns into Oxford Street. It is probably easiest to catch the tube at Queenswat Station, just before Bayswater and take the Central line to the Bond Street Station at the intersection Of Bond And Oxford. Whether this or another station works better depends on where you plan to shop PS if you need a break, the Gin Garden on the Roof of John Lewis is charming.

I know that they kept our bags for a few hours, between check out and leaving for a flight, but I'm not sure about keeping the bags for a few days. I'd contact the hotel via e-mail to make sure. The staff is truly an asset to this hotel and I think they will make every attempt to accommodate their guests.

Do they have a laundry guests can use please
There is a laundromat less than a block away on Queensway to the North. Good hours, reasonable prices.

Hi, where is the nearest car park? And is it safe to park the car overnight? Thanks in advance.
I believe there is street parking across from the hotel. We did not have a car and only used public transportation.
