Cleanliness is a strong suit, with guests commending the spotless environment. However, the rooms are often criticized for being cramped and lacking expected conveniences.
Opinions on the hotel's value vary, with several visitors mentioning it falls short, especially due to extra fees and basic amenities. The service receives mixed reviews, influencing the overall stay, yet the hotel's contemporary atmosphere and design are generally admired.

TB location 5 minutes from Canary Wharf metro station (Jubilee Line). TB welcome and quick check-in. Rooms not very large (14 m2) but well designed and well equipped (including safe at no extra charge). TB bedding! Well soundproofed and quiet. Modern environment of buildings in the heart of the Canary Wharf business center (bodies of water, shopping center, etc.). Breakfast not tested because not included in the price (around 20 pounds extra). Very satisfied with our stay.

I loved the environment, ambience and most especially the cleanliness and smell of the elevator lobby. The maintenance guy fixed the leaking sink within minutes of being notified and also provided fresh towels , the front desk was also magnanimous enough to accommodate my early check-in request. Only downside will be the size of the rooms and lack of closet space.

We booked the Tribe because we wanted to stay somewhere really trendy and nice looking but affordable as well as we needed 2 rooms for our family. Our stay at the Tribe surpassed our expectations. We knew on forehand that the rooms are on the smaller side but Lainey at the reception was fantastic. She got us one smaller room with a great view and one larger room for my daughters. Exactly what we needed. The rooms are all you need: beautiful, peaceful after hectic and crowded days in London city, comfortable beds, and a great shower! We booked a rate with breakfast and the breakfast selection is definitely among the best I’ve had in recent years (for Europe) with a wide selection of fresh fruits and ‘unusual’ items such as coconut yoghurt and chia pudding. But don’t worry, all the usuals are there as well such as fresh fried eggs, sausages, croissants etc The hotel is located in Canary Wharf so there is some travel to go into the centre but you’re there in about 30 minutes and it’s a great location to catch some breath and be away from the tourist herds. I highly recommend this hotel!!

As someone who spent over three weeks at this hotel, I strongly advise AGAINST staying here. The hotel falls far short of even a 3-star rating. Rooms are extremely small, barely enough space to place your luggage, and lack proper storage for clothes, offering only a few hangers and small shelves. The absence of a fridge can be a significant inconvenience, especially since there's no storage space for snacks. Rooms are poorly lit, to the extent that I needed to use my iPhone's flashlight to read (and because of the location you’d receive no daylight). It felt like being in a prison cell, complete with a dismal ceiling. Also, I experienced several days of issues with the air conditioner, which the maintenance team later confirmed was faulty in my room—and I suspect this wasn't limited to just my unit. This issue caused me to feel ill for a couple of days.
Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities such as a telephone, questioning the safety of the place. There's no laundry or room service available. The customer service was appalling; I was treated very rudely by the hotel managers on several occasions, possibly due to my young Asian appearance. I will make sure to forward this to my company so that it will never recommend colleagues to book a stay here.
The front desk was consistently unhelpful, leaving me to resolve issues on my own. On my last day, during an already frustrating checkout process that enforces an 11 am (?) checkout time, lady manager harshly told me to vacate the room immediately (word for word “get out”) for incoming guests waiting in the lobby - who, as it turned out, were not even there, as the room remained untouched for more than two hours, not even by the cleaning staff, after I left.
This review comes from someone who typically avoids complaints, making this feedback genuinely warranted. If you’re looking to simply give away your money AND left stressed, this might be the place for you.

Room was very small and bare wooden floors which I assume are for cleanliness however I stepped on a used contact lens in bare feet so not too sure that’s working for the hotel.
The lack of bedside tables was also strange.
At breakfast I saw they offered a to go service which is heavily promoted in the hotel but there was no obvious way for this to be done, with no containers out or takeaway cups. I asked a member of staff but after waiting 5 mins I had to go as I was running late.
Won’t be returning, there’s better alternatives if you are prepared to go a tube stop outside of the wharf.

Hi _confused_badger_, Thanks for reviewing your time at TRIBE and it's disappointing that you didn't enjoy your time with us. Cleanliness is of paramount importance to us, I will follow up with our housekeeping department and investigate what went wrong on this occasion, please accept our apologies for this. Breakfast is served in our restaurant and is a buffet service, the takeaway options are from our 24-hour snack bar and are not included in the breakfast inclusive rate. The snack bar and breakfast do tend to be busy, we would prefer it for people not to have to wait, however, on occasion this is unavoidable. I'm disappointed to her you won't be back but if you fancy popping in for a cocktail in the evening next time you're in Canary Wharf, it would be great to see you. Regards,

I stayed here from 3/30 thru 4/5 and had a great experience. The hotel is new and it shows. Everything was very clean and modern. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar and right next door is an amazing Indian restaurant called Dishoom that was on my to do list (the Soho location) but I had no idea they recently opened up this location in Canary Wharf. I booked the smallest room but when I checked in, I was offered the option to choose a bigger room, with a much better view at no extra cost. It clearly was an accessible room but I had no complaints, as the room was spacious and had everything I needed. The only thing that could have made the room better was if they had mini fridges lol. The room came with an easy to use digital thermostat so my room was always nice and warm when I came back at night. I didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant or bar but I did grab a few items from the snack bar area just behind the front desk. The lobby/bar area is really nice with a good vibe and there were always people there so I'm sure it was quite busy. One of the best things about this location is that this area has a lot of newer structures right and just a few feet away is an Amazon Fresh Store and a few at the end of the block is the Canary Wharf station where you can catch the Jubilee line or walk a little ways more and catch the Elizabeth line. The distance from the hotel to where you catch the Jubilee Line is less than 1/2 mile so very quick access to the trains. The hotel is also very quiet. The Canary Wharf area isn't a huge party are like Soho & Chinatown so it's perfect for getting some rest and not being disturbed. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, particularly Aaron, who checked me in and engaged me in conversation during the check-in process. This was my first time in London and as a solo traveler, this hotel was perfect, very cost effective and I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

As you walk into the hotel it has a really nice set up with a waiting area right in front of the door which is ideal when waiting for a taxi/uber. Nice and modern interior with refreshments open 24/7. Very easy check in process completed in a few minutes, there were 5 or 6 lifts in total and after scanning your room card it told you the lift to take to that floor. This is a really smart and easy feature in a hotel which I've never seen anywhere else. The room itself was smaller than I was expecting but we were only staying for 2 nights so it wasn't a problem. I wouldn't recommend a standard room if you like to have space in your room with storage/hanging space but if you need a reasonably priced hotel this is the one. The decor in the room was quite strange as the ceiling had no wallpaper or paint on at all it look like someone hadn't finished doing works on it with pipes etc sticking out but then came to realise this was the design. The location was great as we were going to an event at the O2 so it was a 5 minute train journey straights there. Canary Wharf underground was only a 5 minute walk right out of the hotel and straight down. Lot's of restaurants within a 2 minute walk. Would recommend :)

Hey Compass36921634433, Thanks for reviewing your time with us at TR!IBE and we're thrilled you had a great time with us. Our hotel is a bit different to a traditional hotel, the style is what could be described as 'Industrial Chic'; this was part of the design language and fully intentional - the ethos was to use minimal excess materials to lower the carbon footprint of building the hotel, this design language continues throughout other properties and brands in Ennismores portfolio. Although the design of the hotel was somewhat unexpected, we're thrilled that you enjoyed all other aspects of your stay and look forward to welcoming you back. Kind regards,

We stayed here because we were going to the O2 to see the Mama Mia Experience for my daughters 16th and nieces 18th we could see the O2 from our XL comfort room.
The hotel is lovely, the design of the rooms is has everything you need, the bar and restaurant area is fab really plush and trendy.
It’s all very clean and fresh, I’m a bit of a germophobe this is the first hotel I’ve stayed in where I could not find a fault it was spotless, lovely shower, really nice complementary toiletry’s really comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and a good selection of cooked and continental.
I arranged for balloons for the rooms and the staff added some confetti and a voucher for a free drink in the bar which was very kind of them.
Thank you to Aaron and Laine who were excellent with my many questions.
The Jubilee line which is only 1 stop to the O2 and was 2 from kings cross, is literally a 3 min walk to the hotel, in fact the area of the hotel is lovely I wished we had more time to explore, it’s clean which is unusual for London no piles of bin bags or busy roads felt very safe.
There is an Amazon fresh which we don’t have up north and wow, really good prices good quality food if you are on the go.
Would stay again, even if not just for closeness to the O2 as the hotel and area perfect.

Lots of potential and a great location but being charged £355 a night a very very small room with a questionable king sized bed and below average quality bedding was a little too steep. When there is not an event on at the O2 and the rooms are half that price, I’d consider it reasonable value. The breakfast in the morning was a little shambolic as well, with there not being enough staff to cope and a broken toaster (we all need toast in the morning lol).
Shop around, I’ve stayed at both the Marriott and Novotel in Canary Wharf and they were far better.

We stayed in the hotel for one night and stayed in a Comfort room.
Location: It’s about 5 minutes from Canary Wharf Station and the Jubilee Line. It’s a great place to stay if you want a quieter area of London to get out of the busyness. The receptionist told us that there were lots of great restaurants around but we didn’t have a chance to try them! Amazon Fresh is literally 2 minutes from the hotel and has essentials if you need them.
Cleanliness: our room was spotless. We liked that it was a vinyl floor instead of carpet and felt that this felt cleaner than the usual dark, carpeted rooms. We ate breakfast in the restaurant in the morning, which we didn’t pre-book but it was served until 11AM. It was £20 each and so worth it for a buffet brekky!
If you’re socially awkward like us, you’ll appreciate the lifts/elevators as you scan your room card and get allocated a lift that takes you straight to your floor without being called to someone else’s floor. It’s the little things!
We also loved that after a late night show at the o2, we came back to a very much alive hotel lobby, serving drinks and food like a little school/university cafeteria (in a good way!). Toastie, refrigerated drinks and snacks served all night is such a great service that we felt stood out beyond other hotels in London.
If you’re looking for a top quality hotel with a laid-back vibe, this is your hotel! Fantastic value for money, great location and this will now be our go to hotel every time we come to London. Thank you Team Tribe! We didn’t take anyone’s names but everyone was equally helpful and friendly. Legends 🫶

Plenty of car parks but they don’t come cheap - £24 for the day at the nearby Waitrose car park. Might be less expensive to park at North Greenwich and hop one stop on the Underground to Canary Wharf.
There are more places to choose from in the London area.
