Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.

Excellent location for our theatre weekend. Right next door to Victoria Station with the Apollo also in view as you exit the station. Staff couldn’t have been more efficient and attentive, nothing was a problem. A particular mention to the waiters at breakfast who were superb.

Didn't stay at the hotel as only attended the TES Awards dinner. The building itself was impressive and was really expecting big things that didn't materialise. We were supposed to be greeted with a glass of Prosecco, but when we arrived there was none left and no glasses. When

The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful, the Bourbon is a nice place to relax and sample the largest range of Bourbon in Europe, the Red Bar is great to meet friends and enjoy a cocktail. The rooms are very nice, comfortable, very large, bed, tea and coffee, but no milk?

Wonderful location, beautiful hotel with excellent service. Best breakfast buffet I ever had. Service in dining room was very good, although the food was just average. Room quite small, but average by European standards. Only good things to say, they treat you like royalty!

From Victoria station there is a small staircase leading to the hotel. There’s a button that you can use to alert staff that you need assistance with luggage.

As advised, select king size. A double room gives you a standard double..

How far is the hotel from Victoria Coach Station?
The coach station is just up the road about 2 blocks on the right. If you come out the front door of the hotel and turn left you cannot miss it. It is very close by.

Does the hotel have an elevator?
Yes there are 2-3 decent sized elevators from main reception. The room we had required you to get an elevator from main reception to (I think) floor 4 and then walk quite a way down a corridor to get another elevator in a different wing of the hotel to our floor, and then a walk to our room. If you have mobility issues it might be worth checking with the hotel. The second elevator was quite small (would be pretty full with 8 people even without suitcases). The room we had was one of the cheaper/smaller ones and I am not sure if rooms off the first elevator are more expensive. The hotel is a bit unusual in having "wings" which are not joined together on the ground floor.
