We’re a family of three and our son is a college student. A regular family hotel offering a pull out couch or two beds in one room wouldn’t due— we needed privacy and space. Hux suites provided just that! We also enjoy shopping local markets and making our own meals during our travels to supplement eating out. The suite has a fully furnished kitchen with dishwasher and even a washing machine to do our dirty laundry before returning to the states— all of this was outstanding. Located across from Kensington Park, we could take a stroll, see the Palace, or hop on the nearby metro or pick up a cab outside the door, walk to nearby shops and groceries (a Whole Foods was near the Metro and a pharmacy too if needed), or grab a drink at the historic Goat pub literally next door (they were so nice and fun and love the Hux guests). Our itinerary kept us from doing the music and cocktails inside the hotel on the night offered (the suites are separate from the main hotel) but we did hear it through the windows and it was very enjoyable. The suite was beautifully appointed and clean. There is street noise and several days in a noisy family “moved in” upstairs and their little ran back and fourth and pressed the lift button inside the suite causing our lift to ding often when we were trying to rest or go to bed— but that’s NOT the hotel’s fault. The AC is ice cold for those who need to chill but most mornings we could shut it off and open the beautiful windows onto Kensington and sip coffee and watch London wake for the day. The second bedroom did not have an AC vent so door had to remain open for airflow during the night. There were times my guys were quite comfy but I needed another blanket. Thankfully the complimentary robes were nice to bundle up in, especially after a relaxing bath in the tub. For anyone with mobility issues, the suites start on a walk up (we were in Suite 1), which could be a bit steep, but there is a lift on the landing for the upper suites. Everything so clean, comfortable and convenient. Highly recommended!!

Good afternoon.

My mum and I had a brilliant two night stay with you for my 14th birthday treat.
My mum booked your hotel after seeing the fun pictures of the decor you have, which we both found to be fascinating.

The hotel staff team were especially welcoming to us and took time to explain to us about the hotel and where the animals came from and we were both delighted to hear that they are included as part of the hotel team and given their own names.
We were encouraged to wander around the hotel to explore and take pictures and the staff were attentive to my mum and I at all times making us feel relaxed and safe.

Whilst my mum enjoyed a glass of wine ,I was able to sit with her and enjoy a glass of lemonade with my own avocado leaf straw in the relaxing, peaceful surroundings and made to feel really welcome.

The location was perfect for us both as I like to shop and my mum likes to relax so we both got a lovely experience and we found some lovely restaurants near by and very easy to make our way to even more shops via the tube stations and be just across the road from the beautiful Kensington gardens so we both had plenty to do to keep us happy.

As an avid social media fan, I might suggest that in certain areas there could be an option to make the area a bit lighter to be able to take the most flattering pictures as some places were too dark to get the best shot.
I have posted pictures to Instagram and also suggest the hotel sets up its own Tiktock account for people to share their experience with a worldwide audience.

Our room was perfect and we were able to settle down at night to watch a movie on Netflix and in the morning my mum enjoyed a coffee with the machine in our room which was a great start to the day for her.
Maybe a small box of cereal could be included along with a bowl and spoon for the times you know children are staying.

We throughly enjoyed our trip and would like to say a big thank you to everyone and we most certainly will be back.
.

Me and my partner stayed for a night away and it was incredible. We were very lucky and our room was done super early, everything was spotless and the glass bottle of water was a lovely touch. The people at reception were so friendly, always asking if we were okay. The location is absolutely perfect, a short walk from everywhere, the view onto the high street was very nice and there is a lift so it’s very accessible! The room itself was a perfect size, the shower was lovely and the mood lighting was great. No complaints and will absolutely be back!

When I was deciding which hotel to stay at to celebrate my birthday and have a well deserved relaxing break, I saw the Hux hotel and thought this is the type of hotel that I could see myself staying in …. so I booked!! Really pleased I did. It’s in a great part of Kensington, across the road from Hyde park, walking distance from lots of shops, restaurants and cafés. I had a wonderful Elemis facial at the Kensington MediSpa at the Royal Garden Hotel (opposite Hux hotel) as recommended by Hux hotel team when I messaged them on enquires. The bar lounge is fabulous!! The cocktails were too good, live music was fantastic, the colourful decor, stuffed animals and plants were stunning! The staff were well presented - verbally and physically. Francesco and Liam were welcoming from the the moment I arrived. Even the gentleman doorman Moman (not sure if I spelt his name right) escorted me to my room after one too many cocktails on Friday night to ensure I got to my room safely (was staying alone). For me, Hux hotel was good vibes and a wonderful, chilled out weekend break. The bed was comfy and I slept good, feeling well rested despite getting to bed at 4am on Sunday and up around 8.30am. My superior king room was a good size, glad I upgraded! Loved that my room had a shower and bath and enjoyed a candle lit soak! My only tiny issue was that there wasn’t any hand wash in my bathroom, though I had asked for one, it wasn’t supplied so I improvised and used the hotel shower gel toiletry instead. The bathroom lighting was not the best when putting my makeup on. But would very much consider staying there again!

We were high maintenance guests, though not purposefully so. New to theUK and international travel in general, my wife and I arrived to The Hux after walking over a mile from the wrong tub station (Kensington South, as opposed to Kensington High Street), after British Airways had lost out luggage we arrived with little more than the cloths on our backs. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and seemed quite eager to get our vacation back on track after what seemed to be a comedy of errors, mistakes, and problems which certainy had put a damper on our spirits.

We had to purchase new clothes, new toiletries, just in order to function. All of the Desk Staff was amazing, especially notable was the assistance of both Liam and Melvin who made every effort to assist us, provide advice, and a place of respite from matters far outside their control. The housekeeping staff even allowed use of their facilities and washed/folded a change of clothes for us since we had literally nothing.

The rooms were clean, eccentric, eclectic and generally awesome. The bar was well stocked, the drinks were good. On our next trip I hope that there is a basic restaurant setup, even with just a basic few foods. The beds were comfortable, the rooms had Air Conditioning and Heating which in the UK is a rarity and at a premium.

All in all our stay was fantastic, amplified by a fantastic staff, a clean and maintained building, a wonderfully central location on the south west corner of Hyde Park and EASY walking distance to Kensington High Street tube station.

I was staying in a horrible apartment nearby and decided to take a walk when I saw the sign, went up and had a lovely chat with Francesco, his great attitude and service made me want to come back pack and check in immediately. I checked in the next day very early and the team made all efforts to accommodate me early and took care of my luggage. The rooms are brand new clean and have a great modern colorful touch. The shower has great water pressure. The housekeeping team was also lovely and took amazing care of my room. Rooms are equipped with kettle and nespresso machine and the capsules are available and delicious, very nice touch. Definitely recommend - service, facilities and location.

The hotel location couldn’t be better, opposite Kensington Gardens, a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Kensington High Street and ten minutes’ walk from the Albert Hall. The staff couldn’t be more welcoming or helpful, bringing my bag to the room (there are stairs to a first floor lift), changing the room so my dog didn’t have to go in the lift, and bringing him a bed and bowl - all for no extra charge. The rooms are small, they are advertised as such, but spotlessly clean, exceptionally well equipped and furnished, with bathrobes, big fluffy towels and good quality toiletries (large bottles and not nailed down as in some hotels). The aircon was quiet and efficient and the double glazing made sleeping on the edge of the main road like being in the country! An efficient blackout blind at the window had the same effect. Good quality bed linen made the comfortable bed even more comfortable! Highly recommended and will return whenever in the area.

Compact and bijou room but really comfortable in a quirky but great hotel in a fabulous location in London.
Our welcome was warm and friendly and the room was very comfortable. We did not have enough towels initially but this oversight was quickly rectified.
There were facilities for tea and coffee making in the room but no apparent milk, however upon asking the staff they explained we only had to ask and they would bring fresh milk to the room. They did mention we could request some items on the iPad in the room but we did not have an iPad in our room… so that was a little curious.
We liked the special touch of the letter with some coins that could be exchanged for a cocktail in the bar… sadly we were unable to use this for both of our nights there due to pre arranged activities that we were doing.
Bed and pillows were really comfy, toiletries in the shower were good and the view overlooking the edge of Kensington Gardens was an added touch that we enjoyed.

The most beautiful & luxurious hotel I've had the pleasure of staying in. Very unique and classy decor throughout. The rooms are of the best quality and highest standard, it exceeded my expectations as I noticed all of the attention to detail and the beds are the comfiest I've ever slept in. The staff were most welcoming, the service was faultless and they went above and beyond to make our say one to remember and as stress free as possible. My friend and I spent our evenings in the hotel bar, where we enjoyed the huxs own signature cocktails while listening to the live musicians. The atmosphere is unmatched.

The hotel is situated in a prime location which made it hassle free and easy for us to explore the areas we wanted to.

I highly recommend staying at the HUX if you're looking for high a quality, stress free and completely unique hotel experience with lots of comfort.
