I selected the Crown Plaza after looking at many reviews. We were not disappointed. The hotel has a great location near the tube station and high streets. The outside of the building is a lovely white Victorian building but inside is modern and stylish. Reception...More

I was thrilled to read your review of your recent stay with us and I am always pleased to hear such positive feedback on not only the hotel but also about the team who made your time with us so special.
This hotel benefits from a large lovely garden with nice landscaping, plenty of tables and chairs with middle eastern influence tents. In the summer they have a beach bar with real sand. A rare find in central London. It is our favourite intercontinental hotel group...More
Stayed here for 2 nights, well worth a visit to the winter garden. Breakfast was great with a vast selection and there is also a menu where kippers, egg Benedictine etc
are freshly cooked to order.
On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff. Chiara checked us in & explained that a room upgrade had been given to us and that our preferences had been met. Robert provided his usual friendly and efficient concierge services. Our room had been well prepared...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

The club lounge is actually just off the lobby. Your room card gets you access. Our room was on the fourth floor. The lounge has small refrigerators stocked with all sorts of beverages (non alcoholic and beer etc), available at any hour. There are fruit bowls and cookies set out also. Every evening there is happy hour with hot nibbles and mixed drinks in addition to what I already mentioned. It’s is also where you will eat your breakfast. It is a buffet with hot items (eggs, sausage, potatoes etc) with cold meats, boiled eggs, cereals, yogurts and sweet breads (croissants etc). All very good quality and tasted very good. You don’t pay extra for any of these things with a club room. Hope this helps.
