My partner hated everything about this hotel, I however think that if you consider the price it is excellent value for money. Sure the room was in the basement, but it was clean and comfy all you could wish for after a hard day's touristing! There are many better hotels in London but not at this price

Clean, comfy and convenient! Double room was rather small but bed was comfy and shower good. Wifi wasn’t strong enough in the room to be on zoom and kept fitting in & out which was frustrating! Also on a busy road so can be loud depending on the room you get. Great location for Sth Kensington & Gloucester road! Easy check in & out. Decent price.

Was upgraded to a family room on arrival. Only a few minutes walk from Gloucester Road tube station. Plenty of restaurants and a Tesco nearby.Very well priced for London. Reception staff efficient and welcoming. Bathroom was clean. Did find previous guests leftovers in the fridge on arrival but room appeared clean other than that. Decent air-conditioning and windows that could be opened. All in all a great stay.

Came here for three days and was absolutely more than we could have asked for. Was hesitant from the reviews on here but booked and was far from disappointed. We were greeted by such friendly staff, they made our check in easy and efficient- always smiling ready for a chat. The hotel is cosy, well-cleaned and in such an amazing area (right in-front of the Natural History Museum and close to the tube for convenience.) Upon arrival into our room, it was small but that was expected. Regardless, it was perfect size for just me and my partner who were spending most our time sightseeing anyways. The room was soooo tidy, the beds were incredible comfy (best night sleep in a while), the bathroom was fully stocked with a powerful shower and the air conditioning worked a charm (a relief since it was the hottest day in the UK at one point in our visit). Loads of mirrors, comfy sheets and towels, TV with many channels, everything for tea/coffee and regular maid-cleaning service. The only downside was probably the wifi - this only worked on occasion for our stay. It was rather tedious but when it worked, it worked well. However, this is only a small blip for such a wonderful stay. Please take negative reviews with a pinch of salt and there were next to no-faults for our visit, certainly worth every bit of money (and more!) for a comfortable visit in an expensive city. Perfect for couples, travellers and all tourists - we will definitely be coming here again. :)…

We booked the family room, when the lift opened on the floor, the smell of mould hit you. Once we were in the room we found the room full of mould, plaster falling off the walls, a lovely 💩 left in the toilet, and a half used bar of soap. They couldnt offer an alternative family room, only 2 separate rooms apart from eachother. This wasnt suitable for us. When I spoke to reception, they didnt even question, check or look surprised about the issues. We stayed elsewhere.

Excellent 3 star hotel and value for money. Very clean room and bathroom, quiet, all equipment working, and great London location. Deluxe double room was beautiful. Would definitely re-book in future.

Few days ago I tried to check in in that hotel. So the receptionist was the rudest guy I ever met in hospitality. He started to shout on me, calling me scam and dodgy. Just by the way I own concierge company and I do work with VIP clients and governments. That's was such a surprise that Eden Plaza keep that kind of workers. Was the last time I even looked on your hotel, hopefully your business will be destroyed. No good luck to you, only shame.

Was due to stay here in April 2020 to see the Tutankhamen exhibition but due to Covid everywhere was in lockdown the hotel was closed but still a no refund policy on cancellations & no shows even though we didn't cancel & if we had somehow managed to get to London the hotel would have been closed anyway! They refuse phone calls & ignore emails so if this is the way to get their attention but as other reviews on here are of the same i don't think they care they have had our money & haven't had to provide any service for it - definitely don't book this hotel

I booked to visit London in December this year with my 6 year old daughter to take her as a birthday treat to see Frozen the Musical. I booked the hotel early as room prices are often expensive near Christmas (I booked in February) Unfortunately the pandemic happened and Frozen was cancelled and moved to May next year. As soon as Frozen was cancelled I contacted the hotel asking could I cancel my booking but was told my hotel is non refundable. I can cancel the booking but the £160 I paid for one night at the hotel would not be refunded. All that would happen is my booking would be cancelled and the hotel would be free to sell the room to someone else and double their money. I explained the circumstances to the hotel and asked would they consider changing the dates due to the situation, the new dates I had for the Frozen musical being May 2021. They told me they were happy to change the dates if I paid another £160 as the hotel was more expensive in May. I find this unusual as most hotels are very expensive in the run up to Christmas rather than just a weekend in May. Unfortunately being a lone parent and with the circumstances this year I cannot afford to pay another £160 for the hotel in May so I have now cancelled the show also. Fortunately my daughter wasn’t aware we were going to London to see Frozen the musical as she would have been extremely disappointed. I have written a review because I really feel in a year like we have had this hotel could have been a bit more understanding. I tried to cancel back in the summer so there was plenty of time to rebook the room and they wouldn’t have lost out. I have made the decision now not to cancel the room inspite of the fact I won’t be visiting this Friday as I feel it’s very unfair that they would be able to resell the room for probably more than I paid. I have visited various hotels in London over the years and I have never had this issue with any of them. As such I cannot recommend this hotel and would really suggest that if you are thinking of choosing this hotel then maybe look elsewhere first.…
