Nestled in a tranquil spot near the Thames, The Chelsea Harbour Hotel & Spa receives accolades from guests for its cleanliness and charming atmosphere. While the hotel's rooms are described as comfortably spacious, there are occasional mentions of dated decor and maintenance needs. The service is generally applauded for its warmth and attentiveness, though some visitors have experienced delays. While the amenities, including the spa and comfortable beds, are a highlight, remarks about the pool temperature and room service suggest room for improvement. Despite its somewhat removed location, the hotel's transport links are appreciated by guests seeking a peaceful retreat.

Very large room (a suite). I especially appreciated the presence of two toilets, a bathtub and a shower, and a bidet. The room was very clean. I always check switchers, door handles and remotes when I check-in in a hotel and this time I was pleasantly surprised to find them extremely shiny. My children and I also appreciated the supply of coffee, teas, chocolates, milk. Breakfast is generous and various, only the last day the scrambled eggs and the sunny-side-up were overdone. The staff is very kind and ready to solve any kind of minimum problem. The position is not central, but you can easily reach everywhere by overground and then underground. You can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the area. If you are interested in visiting the Chelsea Stadium with your children, this is the best option, it's 800 mt from here!

I cannot express how happy I was with my stay at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel! We booked the Chelsea family balcony suite, the room was very spacious, it felt like a mini apartment. It had a king size bed and a pull out couch in two separate rooms, tv in each room, a desk with chair in one room and the other had a mini vanity with chair, a full bathroom with shower, tub, 2 sinks, toilet and even a bidet. Christian Lacroix shampoo and body care products. It also had an additional 1/2 bathroom with sink and toilet. It had a mini bar that had a fridge, Nespresso machine and tea kettle. The mini bar had complimentary coffee pods, Nescafé, tea, hot chocolate, Biscoff cookies and water, and it was restocked daily. The pool and spa was great, it had an indoor pool, sauna and steam room, and changing room with lockers and showers. I was definitely impressed with the hotel accommodations and amenities but to top it off the service was top notch, from the moment you walk in, it smells amazing! Zakia checked us in and out and she was wonderful! Very polite and professional! The manager will follow up after housekeeping cleans your room to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Truly wonderful and exceptional hospitality!!

Very disappointing trip. Called ahead twice to ask if we could check in early (with payment) as arriving after a 12-hour flight, and to ensure pool was working as was travellng with a child , and this was driving factor for booking. (also mentioned was childs birthday so had evening plans) Arrived to be told "check in -is 3 pm" - we were not given any refreshments or recommendations as to timing, or what we could do in area, so sat in lobby with child for over three hours. Saw many people checking in who arrived after but were told they had a different room type - offered to upgrade or downgrade as needed but no accomodation was given. very dismissive. Perhaps if they told us, it would be actually three hours, instead of " we will let you know when room is free" we would have left hotel for lunch.

When finally get to room, tried to order room service (birthday treat) but phone in room was dead so decided to go to pool to "wake up" as we had missed window for nap, but pool was ice cold and steam room was out of order. Told that the pool and spa was a separately run area of hotel and nothing to do with hotel.

Back to room for a bath instead - Bath tub in room only had boiling hot water - no cold at all which was very dangerous for child and made it unusable.

Restaurant food was nice and bar staff accomodating BUT they could not figure out how to do room service so you had to pay when food was delivered to room on a portable credit card machine

for entire trip we had no use of pool or steam room, or bath tub.

Rooms very spacious and that was about the only plus

Dear Lorna, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent stay with us. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Regarding the early check-in request, while we strive to accommodate such requests whenever possible, early check-ins are subject to availability. During your visit, the hotel was fully booked, which limited our flexibility. Although we explained this at the time, we understand the inconvenience caused by the wait and regret that it impacted your experience. We also informed you of the availability of our spa and restaurant facilities, should you have wished to explore them while waiting. In regard to the pool and spa facilities, the water temperature meets the standard set for guest comfort, though preferences can vary. We’ve also noted your concern about the steam room and have informed the managing team to review the matter. For the in-room phone, if it was not functioning during your stay, our team would have been able to replace it promptly upon notification. We encourage guests to inform us of such issues so we can address them immediately. Thank you again for your input, as it helps us ensure a better experience for all our guests. Kind regards, Guest Relation Team

My wife and I arrived late on a Friday evening after a long day's travelling. The room was well equipped, and the bathroom had both a separated loo (with a bidet as well) and a separate shower cabinet in addition to the bath. We both like a bath in the evening to relax, and especially after travelling. BUT no bathplug, so no bath. I phoned Reception, who appeared and confirmed 'yes, indeed, no bathplug', and promised to get it sorted the next day. We were out from midday until late but when we returned, NO BATHPLUG. We were due to leave early on the Monday morning, so on Sunday evening I met the duty manager. Nice person who apologised profusely and promised a 10% compensatory refund on the room cost (which had already been paid). As of this time of writing a month later, still NO REFUND.
In fairness, perhaps the maintenance staff were too busy dealing with severe issues and keeping the rest of the hotel from falling apart that they had no time to deal with a minor matter such as a bathplug. Or possibly the bean-counters reckon that the cost of maintenance over a weekend is not something they want to finance.
To mention something positive, the staff are courteous and helpful, and the restaurant is very good. BUT I strongly recommend to anyone booked into this hotel to take their own bathplug with them.

Dear uropwide Thank you for choosing The Chelsea Harbour Hotel and Spa for your stay and for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. Could I kindly ask you to get in touch with me directly at your earliest convenience so that I can investigate your concerns further? Unfortunately, I’m unable to find your booking under the name provided, and I would like to address the maintenance issue you experienced, as our engineering team typically resolves such matters within 15-20 minutes. I will also look into the one discount you mentioned to ensure whether it is been promised or not from the case. On a positive note, I’m glad to hear that you found our staff courteous and enjoyed your dining experience. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We hope to welcome you back in the future for an improved stay. Kind regards, Mohit

We spent two nights at the Chelsea harbour hotel, two adults and one nine year old daughter, we cannot praise this hotel enough. Looking at some of the other reviews we did have some concerns, glad we ignored them because we would have missed one of the best hotels we have ever stopped at.
From the moment we arrived the staff made us very welcome with the valet parking the car after helping unpack. The room we booked was one of the smaller suites on offer but consisted of two really good sized rooms with two WCs meaning our daughter could have a room completely to herself without disturbing Mum and Dad. These rooms were clean on arrival with a great view of the small marina with a balcony overlooking. The Spa and pool were just right and we imagine would normally be quieter outside of school holidays.
The food that was served in the restaurant was really well presented and cooked perfectly, choice could have been larger but unless you stayed for longer than five days it would not be an issue.Breakfast is buffet style and had a good choice of continental and full food. The restaurant manager,Mihai, was a great host and one of the nicest people you could meet. I also want to say how professional Gillian was at the desk and everyone else without exception who i didnt manage to get their names. Through work I stop at a large number of various hotels and I would put this hotel at the top of the list of ones visited. We will be back, hopefully in the near future.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel just outside London! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by an incredibly helpful and welcoming staff who did everything to make the stay perfect. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, making the stay even more relaxing.

The location was also a big plus – the hotel is located in a quiet setting, but with a short distance to public transport, making it easy to get into the center of London. And breakfast? Absolutely lovely! A large selection of fresh and tasty dishes that gave a perfect start to the day.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free experience near London. I will definitely return!

This hotel used to be pretty vibrant. The restaurant was busy, there were people in the bar. You could get a cab. The suites only set up was innovative and made you want to come back with the family at the weekend.

Not any more. It’s tired and ailing. The staff seem to know it and it’s sad to see such a once cool place deteriorate so quickly. Ashwin on reception was helpful and smiling but he alone can’t turn it round.

As a result it’s pretty cheap with my stay costing a lot less than other hotels. But it doesn’t feel like good value. The toiletries are stuck down in big push pump bottles presumably to stop guests taking them. That says it all.

What a pity.

We have stayed many times at the Chelsea harbour since the days when it was the Conrad . Since then we have watched the standards slowly decline. There is no longer a doorman to help you park your car and only one person on reception . Our room was clean enough but with an unpleasant outlook over a dirty roof top and very close to an office block whose light shone through our window all night affording us little privacy. The location of the hotel necessitated a taxi into London to attend a show we had tickets for, they used to have a direct button to call a taxi but this was no longer in use and a staff member had to run down the road and flag one down which took over 20 minutes. The main disappointment however was the breakfast, I detest having to make my own toast on a commercial machine by the time it reaches the table it was soggy like a bit of rubber . The food was not cooked to order and was lukewarm at best . Scrambled eggs looked like rubber and the sausage was cold. The only thing that has not lessened is the cost and we would have done better at a premier inn

Dear James, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the numerous issues you encountered during your recent stay at Chelsea Harbour. We are genuinely sorry to hear that the standards you have come to expect over the years have declined. Your continued patronage since the days when the hotel was the Conrad is greatly valued, and it is disappointing to know that we did not meet your expectations this time. We apologize for the lack of a doorman to assist with parking and the limited reception staff. These services are essential to our guest experience, and we regret that they were not available during your stay. We are also sorry for the unpleasant view from your room and the lack of privacy caused by the office block nearby. We understand how important a comfortable and private room is, and we regret that we fell short in this regard. Regarding your transportation concerns, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by the absence of the direct taxi call button and the subsequent delay in securing a taxi for you. This should have been handled more efficiently, and we are taking steps to rectify this issue. We are particularly disappointed to learn about your breakfast experience. It is unacceptable that the food quality and presentation did not meet your expectations. Making your own toast on a commercial machine and finding the food lukewarm and unappetizing is far from the standard we aim to provide. We will address these concerns with our culinary team to ensure improvements are made. We understand your frustration, especially given the cost of your stay, and we are deeply sorry that we did not deliver the value you anticipated. Your feedback is invaluable, and we are committed to making the necessary changes to enhance our guests' experience. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with the high-quality service you deserve. Warm regards, Guest Relation Team

I have to say this is by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in and I travel a lot in the UK!
So get here on the first day and straight away no drinks in the mini bar and just empty, they want to charge £35 to put drinks in but a minibar should have drinks in?
Then there were broken parts in the room which I reported straight away because and which I found unusual they take a £200 deposit even though I paid for the stay in full upfront !

So we were given a very very similar room but no different just no damages. So a few things below which will point out that wee not worth the money I paid which was just over £600!

1.steam room in sauna broken
2.card for room not working properly
3.2 bottles water and 1 earl grey tea bag in room
4.lists not functional so had to use service lifts
5. Toilet in room leaks & constantly making a running water noise throughout the night
6.Service in restaurant poor and the bacon was like eating cracker bread!
7. There was a rude lady on duty on front desk with no duty of care whatsoever

So there was quite a bit I was unhappy with, yes you may say nothing but sorry this place has been given a 4-5 star rating and they don’t even have bags in the bins in the rooms for the rubbish.
The only saving grace was that there were a few people who were very helpful and that was Hamza, Daniel both in the front desk and the bar manager on the Saturday night a south Asian hap who was really nice.
So I’m hoping millennium group get back to me and give me some Of my money back as was a total waste of money.
