This was our latest stay at the hotel and there was nothing to disappoint. From the friendly and helpful staff to the well appointed room, we had everything we needed. The kitchenette area was a godsend as we were able to cater for ourselves when we needed to. The location is great for travelling to the host of attractions London has to offer. There were so many within a reasonable walking distance (especially if this was on a strike day) and if slightly further, the tube or bus connections were readily available. We'll always choose to stay at the this Resident hotel when we return for future holidays.

Dear Michael M, Thank you for again for a such lovely review following your return visit with us. Happy to hear that again we have exceeded your expectations and that we have everything you needed this visit. Our kitchenette is indeed very convenient to have, can easily store food and snacks. A great money saving tip. It is also good to know that we offer a fridge refill service, you simply give us a food grocery list prior arrival and we do the shopping for you. Something to consider on your next visit. We look forward to welcome you again! Kind regards, Edgardo Cruz Reception Manager

This is my style of hotel and if it's yours also, this a true gem. Quite, convenient, super clean and comfortable with modern touches in an old world setting (London town house), with kitchenette tucked into a discreet closet. I had a small double and it is a small room but all the facilities and their location (bed, desk, kitchenette closet, clothing closet, bathroom) are thoughtfully designed not just haphazard. I "moved in, stowed my suitcase under the bed which I loved as it was in a cozy nook (but if you are over 6 feet tall this may be a bit cramped for you as wall is directly at the foot of the bed) and was happy as can be. Window had pleasant view into a charming mews and featured blinds as well as black out drapes. Bathroom shower is large walk in with high tech set the temp and then touch a button to turn water on/off, lovely toiletries. Kitchenette had everything one could need with a separate sink, dishes, cutlery, microwave, fridge, nespresso machine and kettle (they supply tea bags, nespresso capsules and milk). I stocked my little kitchen with breakfast items (fresh squeezed OJ, bread from Pauls's boulangerie at Early Court underground station, butter and marmalade) and grabbed take out from Indian on Earl's Court Road or microwavable dinner from Marks and Spencer food hall another night. I felt very safe here the rates are value for the money. Will be back!

Dear claudiadO8570AE, Thank you for the lovely 5* review following your stay. I am very happy to hear that we hit the right spots of your preference for a hotel, being reviewed as "this is my style of hotel / Gem of a hotel in London". Indeed our rooms are designed to maximised the space of the room while equipping them with a lot of facilities. Note that all of our room types from the smallest to the biggest do have the same kitchenette setup. Great to hear that you stocked your fridge with breakfast items, to inform you we also do a fridge-refill service. For any future stays all you need to do is to contact us with your food grocery items list and we will do the shopping for you. With that you will have more leisure time during your stay. We hope to see you again soon! Kind regards, Edgardo Cruz Reception Manager

Marie the manager was amazing from arrival and check-in. all staff friendly and professional. Location to cafes, restaurants, Earls Court tube, blue plaque residences, local supermarkets, beauty spots exceptional. Hygiene and safety are spot on, all rooms are secured with red tape to show cleaned and no one has entered since cleaning. As a member (which is free to join) we checked in 2hr early (1pm) and got an extra hour for checkout (12pm). Food and Beverages are available from local businesses and is delivered to your room, menu in room, reasonably priced too (no restaurant on site). Had a great 2 nights and would definitely would stay here again as well as the other sites in London and Liverpool. Forgot to take pictures to back up what I have written, but I promise you will not be disppointed!.

The Residnt (former Nadler) is a great place for a (short) trip to London. Modern interior (without the typical British polyester carpets...), great location, close to Earls Court Tube station.
Staff is super friendly and the "Happy Hour" on the house is a simple idea, which makes you happy. We had a quiet room in the basement, which was ok for 1 night. However, when we book again (and we certainly will), we would ask for a room on a floor, where you can open the windows.

Hello Katja, Thank you so much for the review, and the perfect tagline! We have put a lot of thought into how to make our guests really feel like residents, both in the hotel, and the neighborhood, and receiving a comment like yours really means a lot to us. Every day from 6pm, we host our Evening Drinks in the lobby, and both the team, and our guests really enjoy it. It gives both ourselves and our guests an opportunity to share our London insights, and there is always something new to find out! I have noted your room preference on your profile, and should you plan on staying again, please do reach out to us at the hotel, so we can look at allocations in advance. As you are now a Resident, we hope to see you back in your London home soon! Warm regards, Brendan

The Resident Kensington is perfect for visiting London for a few nights or if attending a show at the Royal Albert Hall. We have now stayed three times, twice in a King room and once in a Superior room. The rooms are very clean, well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. Our rooms had a Molton Brown toiletries, a hair dryer and the kitchenette had a kettle, Nespresso coffee maker, microwave, plates, cups/mugs, cutlery. The location, which is a short walk to Earls Court tube station, is very quiet. We were also lucky to get one of the car parking spaces on two of our visits. The staff are all excellent and responded promptly to all e-mails.

There are fast food restaurants and a couple of OK pubs nearby, as well as an M&S Simply Food, if you want to microwave something in your room. Good restaurants are further walk away (e.g. the Ivy Brasserie Kensington High Street or Steak& Co, Gloucester Road) or a tube ride away in central London. For breakfast or lunch, we would recommend Cafe Paul, opposite the entrance to Earls Court tube station. Don't be put off by the queue, many customers will be takeaway and there are usually free tables at the back of the cafe.

Dear stephenmL2094BJ, Thank you for the perfect 5* review following your stay. Firstly I hope you enjoy the show in The Royal Albert Hall, it is an iconic venue hall for iconic shows. And it is great that our hotel is within walking distance. A perfect hotel option when attending a show. I am glad that you liked our facilities in our hotel and now that you mentioned our Molton Brown toiletries, it is indeed a great addition to what we offer. Our toiletries are installed in a dispenser to eliminate the use of small single use plastic bottles. A great step for our hotel to go greener. We hope to see you again on your next visit in London or for an another show in the Royal Albert Hall. Kind regards, Edgardo Cruz Reception Manager

The staff were brilliant. I had mentioned I preferred a room with a double bed and twin bed rather than all twin because I was treating my parents for my dad’s birthday as they were visiting from abroad. They not only were prompt in actioning my request but on arrival, they had a birthday card, balloon and chocolates for my dad. They were welcoming and complimentary welcome drinks in the evening were so nice! It’s a good location as well, close to Kensingston High street and well connected with the tubes! Definitely recommend! Parking is not available on site, which is my only comment, however, there is paid parking available nearby for the day time (it’s free overnight).

We are delighted to have your dad birthday celebration with us, thank you for highlighting the arrangements done by our team. Getting pampered with our surprises and drinks is surely a great way to celebrate a birthday! In regards to the parking facility, we do have car parking spaces for our guests which was full during your stay whilst it was not offered. Alternatively there are full day parkings around the area which our team would gladly advise and point to the correct directions. Please do contact us in advance to reserve a parking space for your return visit in the near future. Kind regards, Ejay Cruz Reception Manager

A small hotel located on a quiet block in a residential neighborhood. Very close to two convenient Underground lines (Earl's Court stop). The staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. They arranged for a taxi pickup at Heathrow, provided recommendations for local restaurants (which provide a discount for hotel guests) and places to see. Rooms have a mini-kitchenette, convenient for making tea and coffee and storing a few food items for breakfast and snacks. We traveled with our three teenage boys and greatly appreciated this feature. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and cozy (a bit on the small side, but not cramped). The bathroom was clean and spacious, great pressure in the shower.

This hotel has all the American-style amenities of a Marriott/Hyatt with the more intimate setting of a non-chain, boutique hotel. Located in a clean, quiet neighborhood just 3-min walk to Earl's Court (last stop in Zone 1) tube station, with connections to 3 lines. Including direct line to/from Heathrow. Being closer to the center would have been very loud and chaotic. Great restaurant options w/in walking distance. We had a superior king room w/ a little garden patio for approx $300/night, and that ended up being such a great price for London! I always stress about getting good sleep on vacation, and the beds were large and very comfortable with quality bedding and pillows. They also brought us extra pillows (memory foam and feather pillows). The kitchenette was great. Shower was instantly hot with great water pressure. Even the toiletries smelled great. Wifi worked great. TV worked great. Size of the room was spacious for Europe. Bed was two twins pushed together with one set of sheets and blankets, which is very common in Europe. But the size of the bed was very close to an American king (much larger than an American queen, just slightly smaller than an American king). I couldn't have been happier with this hotel for this price. I changed our reservations in London three times because I was so stressed about noise, location, price, and size of European beds. We slept so good, and it was so quiet. Good A/C and heat.

I love staying here and find the kitchenette in the closet so well outfitted - simple, clean with everything you need including Nespresso machine, kettle, microwave, fridge plates...which for me is a huge bonus. Rooms are small (small double is where I stay) but everything you need is thoughtfully supplied and feels the right level of luxury for a value price. The bathrooms are spotless and serene, fixtures and amenities are of a very good quality. The hotel is quiet and the service is excellent. Location also excellent easy walk to underground, M&S food, other eateries, shops, quiet and safe.

Wonderful warm welcome from Fionn at reception set the tone for my visit. I called on my way from an early flight to a meeting, intending just to drop my bags off at Reception and was delighted to be offered my room 4 hours early with the offer of tea/coffee while I waited what felt like only 2-3 minutes for housekeeping to check everything. Super service and a lovely room made my stay extremely comfortable and really enjoyable. The tube just around the corner is an added bonus. I've already re-booked for my next trip in December. ☺

Hi jag1jag1, Earls Court is a district of Kensington and our hotel is located just 5 minutes walk from the Earls Court tube station, on a quiet residential street. What is the easiest/most inexpensive way to get to the hotel from Heathrow?
Answer from Victoria A

Hi rrdub, Apologises for the delay in replying to your question. The easiest/most inexpensive way to get to the hotel from Heathrow is to travel on the London Underground. Take the Piccadilly Line from Heathrow to Earls Court, the journey will take around 45 minutes (including a short walk to the hotel). The price for one ticket will be around £3.00 ($3.74).
