You know you've found somewhere special when, back home, you look through your photos, not for landmarks or scenic views but for snapshots of the incredible Hospitality Staff you met along the way. That's precisely how we feel about Hotel 41—we are already reminiscing about the remarkable people who made our stay unforgettable.
Even before our arrival, the Hotel 41 team anticipated our every need. Ali, the excellent guest services coordinator, took the time to listen to all of our concerns and requests. No question was too small, and no detail too insignificant—Ali truly set the stage for what turned out to be an extraordinary experience.
Upon landing at the airport, our driver, arranged by Hotel 41, greeted us like we were celebrities. His warm smile and attention to detail made us feel as though we had arrived at our final destination, even before stepping into the hotel. But the magic didn't stop there. As we pulled up to the hotel, we were welcomed by Ruben's incredible doorman, whose warmth and enthusiasm immediately set the tone for the most luxurious stay we've ever experienced.
In no time, we were whisked into the hotel—our luggage already on its way to our room as we were escorted to the Executive Lounge. We were greeted with gourmet snacks and luxury champagne when we entered. The contrast between the stuffy airplane and this serene, sophisticated space was striking. Despite the long flight, I felt instantly relaxed, already starting to feel at home in this stunning and welcoming environment—one we would know well over the next few days.
Ruben, the Guest Experience Manager, was an absolute delight. It was clear from the start that he wasn't just interested in meeting our needs and ensuring our happiness. His attention to detail was impeccable—every recommendation he made, from local activities to dining experiences, was spot-on. I couldn't help but feel that the team at Hotel 41 had been carefully curated just for us. Everything was tailored, thoughtful, and done with incredibly personal care.
We also had the pleasure of being looked after by Saif, who played a crucial role in making our time in the Executive Lounge exceptional. His attentiveness and impeccable service made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. And, of course, there was Gianni, our fantastic server at The English Grill, whose warmth and professionalism brought us back for a second night. His tableside preparation of Steak Diane and Crepes was a culinary performance, and the flavors… let's just say we were absolutely hooked. We will also never forget Gabriel, who prepared the tea service perfectly in the executive lounge.
Every detail of our stay, from the impeccable service to the luxurious surroundings, was designed with one thing in mind: to make us feel genuinely cared for. My back hurt one morning, so we called their "special number," and my freeze pack was delivered on a silver tray. We ordered room service one rainy afternoon. We have never had room service like Hotel 41. We were 100% spoiled. My husband is 6'3 and had no issues with the showers and the bed was very comfortable.
Hotel 41 doesn't just provide a place to stay; it creates an experience that stays with you long after you've left. It's not just about the lavish interiors or the exquisite dining—it's the genuine kindness, the flawless service, and the unspoken understanding of what guests genuinely want.
Hotel 41 has set the bar so high that I can't imagine staying elsewhere when we're in London. We can't wait to return and try more Red Carnation destinations.
Thank you, Ali, Pink, Ruben, Saif, Gianni, Gabriel, Callum, and everyone else who made our stay unforgettable. Until next time.
Experience: We enjoy visiting places favored by locals, and the Bath House is definitely one of those spots. It's located just a block away from Hotel 41. We walked over, received a tour, and booked our package for the following day. It promises to be quite an adventure, offering a unique experience compared to what we find in the States. If you're traveling during peak times, make sure to book in advance online.
As a side note, we found an incredible driver for both of us, whom we used for our entire stay in London. On our return trip to Heathrow, our driver dropped us off in the First Class area for Virgin Atlantic. Even though we were not flying First Class, the check-in was seamless and very quick. Please message if you would like his What's App #.

As much valued guests I am delighted to read that you enjoyed an unforgettable stay with us at Hotel 41. My spouse and I stayed here for one night in mid September 2023. We loved it. We arrived into Heathrow from east coast U.S. at 6:30 a.m. and took the Tube To Victoria Station. From there it was about a 5 minute walk to the Hotel. We had emailed a couple months in advance to ask about an early check-in. We got a quick reply with an offer to leave our bags and relax in the Executive Lounge. Arriving around 1000, we received exactly what we were told. The Executive Lounge was excellent! We enjoyed coffees, ordered greek yoghurts with raspberry compote (delicious) and very soon after our room was ready. The staff at check in and in the Executive Lounge were great. Our room (Junior Suite) right outside the Executive Lounge was top notch. A very large bathroom with both a large shower and a separate large bathtub were welcome after the overnight flight. Our room had a nice sitting area on the entrance floor and the large bed and bathroom were actually up a set of stairs. This added to the roomy feel. The large windows in the sitting area and the skylight in the bedroom both had remote control blinds so we were able to take a nap…appreciated. The location of Hotel 41 afforded us the opportunity to walk through St. James Park as well as Hyde Park to see Buckingham Palace, Westminster Cathedral, Thames River, Kensington Gardens and outside view of Kensington Palace as well as Albert Memorial and outside of Albert Hall. The staff at Hotel 41 arranged for a taxi to Paddington Station (just 2.4 miles but with luggage we opted for transport. We arrived in plenty of tome to catch GWR train to Chipping Camden and the start of our Cotswold Way walk. We definitely enjoyed our Hotel 41 stay and thank the staff.

I have stayed at several 5* hotels in London but Hotel 41 is something special. Before I stayed, I was already excited and looking forward to this visit after receiving a pre-questionnaire to personalise my stay and receiving support with booking dinner at The English Grill. When you arrive, you are escorted to the executive lounge and offered a glass of champagne. Check in is completed while you relax in the lounge before you are shown to your room by a member of staff. The rooms are lovely, beautifully designed and include everything you need (the smallest of details are taken care of including make up removal wipes and dental kits). There was minimal noise - none from the street despite being located within 5 mins walk from Victoria station. I was impressed that multiple members of staff remembered and addressed me by name, even asking how my dinner was when I returned to the hotel. It felt like every member of staff was committed to providing exceptional service. When I returned to my room, I was surprised by even more small but thoughtful touches including a hot water bottle in the bed, classical radio on the TV and even a cable tidy Velcro for my phone charger! The cocktails and service in the Executive Lounge were delicious and there are a range of complimentary snacks available that change throughout the day including scones, a range of ice cream flavours and a selection of cheeses in the evening. Breakfast was… exceptional. The pistachio French toast was absolutely delicious. Check out was again a relaxed affair where I was encouraged to sit while the bill was prepared. I was able to leave a bag with the hotel for the day despite having checked out so I could enjoy London without any hassle. I have probably forgotten some of the details - things like being offered hot chocolate in the lobby when I arrived, or a taxi when I left - which is an impressive feat that so many wonderful things were squeezed in to just a one night stay. It is truly a special experience that I would highly recommend - especially if you are looking for a treat.

Dear Q8721RLkatherinea, Thank you for sharing your review following your stay at Hotel 41. It is always wonderful to read that you were excited before you even arrived. Our guests comfort and experience is truly so important to our team and I am delighted that they could assist with the table reservation, a relaxing check in, the room amenities and especially the hot water bottle to warm your bed in the evenings! The complimentary Plunder the Pantry is a favourite of mine and I am thrilled that you could enjoy this and also your breakfast experience with us! Your recommendation to others means a great deal to us and we look forward to welcoming you back when you next visit London. Warm regards, Malcolm Hendry Managing Director

Upon arriving we were greeted by a smiling, welcoming doorman, and then by a lovely soft spoken guest services representative who escorted us to the Executive Lounge. An amazing library with comfortable tables, chairs, and sofas comfortably spaced around the room or in front of a lovely fireplace. We were asked if we would like a glass of champagne (3 varieties to choose from) and hors d’oeuvres while we waited for our check in documents. Our room was lovely. A King sized bed with comfortable pillows, a setee, table with chairs and a desk. The room came with blackout shades, a large screen television, coffee maker and tea service. The bathroom had a full sized tub with shower in addition to a single shower, a large sink with vanity and lovely personal amenities. The towels were oversized, plush, and warm from the towel warmer. Each morning, very nice continental breakfast was available in the Executive Lounge, with snacks available throughout the day. And when your legs and body were exhausted from a day of sightseeing, the Executive Lounge was still open with cheeses, meats and sweets. Sadly, I don’t remember the names of all the countless staff who were available to provide our every need. The Hotel 41 is a lovely boutique hotel, in a great location!

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of London! With only 28 rooms, the staff goes out of their way to know each and every guest by name. You are greeted with champagne or a cocktail while you complete your registration and then shown to your room. We were lucky to have a two-story room with a living room area downstairs and the bedroom along with a desk area upstairs. Unlike most London hotels, this bathroom had a bathtub as well as a walk-in shower which was nice. The staff is beyond compare, and anything you want or need is just an ask away. My husband was going to go down to the lobby to get a cup of coffee as the staff told them there was a fresh pot being brewed downstairs. By the time he got there, they were waiting with a cup already poured, with cream in it just like he takes it! Due to it's location, you can walk to most places in the heart of London. Just across the street is the King's Mews, and Buckingham Palace in minutes away as well as Westminster Abbey, Churchill War Rooms, Parliament House, the London Eye and most other major London sites as well as a tube station. The heart of the hotel is the reception area on the 5th floor where all the rooms are located. There you can find something to satisfy your cravings at any hour of the day - from the ice cream freezer, to the small buffet of goodies they have out that changes due to the time of the day. And, of course, any cocktail you could ask for. You never have to sign for a bill as the staff knows who you are and just adds it to your tab. The room had beautiful linens, bathrobes and slippers (which were placed next to the bed during turndown service). If you are looking for an upscale, boutique hotel near all the action in London, this is for you! We will most definitely be going back.

We were overwhelmed upon arriving to be greeted by a traditional doorman, resplendant in red and black velvet, then by Callum, a guest services representative, dressed in a tuxedo, who escorted us to the Executive Lounge where we were able to relax in an amazing, fireplace-lit library with comfortable tables, chairs, setees and sofas while being checked in. We were asked if we would like a glass of champagne while we were waiting, then given the option of three varieties. When poured, we were also offered some lovely hors d'oeuvres as accompaniment. Our room was spacious and so comfortable with multiple pillows on a king-sized bed, a setee, table with chairs, and a desk, as well as a fireplace, blackout shade, large screen television, coffee maker and tea service. The bathroom had a full sized tub with shower in addition to a single shower, a large sink with vanity and lovely personal amenities. The room was made up in the morning and turned down at night. We were given the opportunity to raid the pantry after 8:30 every evening in the executive lounge and were provided a full "honor system" bar in same. We were attended to and spoiled every minute of our stay by countless staff members who were also available to recommend area attractions, restaurants, transportation, and necessities. As the final hotel of a five-week travel adventure, 41 spoiled our experience at all other hotels where we have stayed, and will reserve in our future! A most FABULOUS hotel!

The experience at Hotel 41 continues to astound in it's thoughtfulness, elegance, attention to detail and unrivaled service. It is the best hotel experience that I have ever had (except for my previous stays at Hotel 41). Conveniently located near Buckingham Palace, it is very easy to travel to see London by bus, Tube or cab. The staff greets you by name and spares no efforts in personalizing your stay. A great touch is their "Raid the Panty" buffet each evening with outstanding food and snacks available until midnight. They easily handled all our transportation and restaurant bookings with insightful suggestions. Daily snacks, little gifts and personal messages with the turn-down service was a daily treat. The attention to detail went so far as neatly coiling and binding our phone charger cables each day to ensure the perfect looking room. I most highly recommend Hotel 41 and know that you will not be disappointed if you stay.

As soon as you enter the entrance lobby with its black and white marble floor and wood-paneled walls, guests are transported to another world. London's big city hustle and bustle is forgotten. An elevator takes you from the hallway on the ground floor to the 5th floor. It is more of a large private salon for the guests of the 41 than a hotel, as it is more like a kind of membership executive lounge - you have to know that. After all, the big famous sister, the Hotel Rubens At The Palace, is directly below - and can be reached by guests of the 41 via a (secret) side door. You feel like you are in a small palazzo when you enter the executive lounge, which also serves as reception. A fireplace, candlelight in the evening from the countless (real!) candles, the glass roof dome, the oversized elegant globes - the ambience - it seems like a fairy tale! From the afternoon until 1 a.m. there are free meals at regular intervals, and from 10 a.m. there is also a small warm buffet... it is all these little things, the incredibly friendly, hard-working staff, that have brought my husband and me to Hotel 41 for the second time. As we are fans of classy boutique hotels, Hotel 41 is just perfect for us. Especially after a long day of sightseeing, it is above all the central location of the hotel (400 meters from Buckingham Palace, 300 meters from Victoria Station) and the quiet of the lounge, which is only accessible to hotel guests, that we appreciate.

A charming little hotel next to Buckingham Palace and close to the Big Ben! The first quality of this boutique hotel is the attention to the small details that make the experience so pleasant. The little macaroon on the bed , the hot water in the sheets in the evening , the afternoon English tea , the wonderful lunches , ... and above all the quality of the staff . Special mention to Jei and all the staff for their great dedication. Congratulations to the whole team We look forward to seeing you again

London has many fantastic hotels and unfortunately I found out today that this is not one of them. If you are looking for high quality and hygienic British establishment at this price with staff who value etiquette and manners please consider the Rosewood; the Connaught, the Park Lane Hotel, the Hamyard Hotel, the Chiltern firehouse, so on. Even the Savoy packed on a hen-do filled weekend is better.
The doormen are lovely, I have walked by this spot for many years and had lovely exchanges them. I thought I might go in for a spot of lunch with a friend who was staying at the hotel after a long morning of volunteering. I wanted to change into a better outfit before sitting down.
I entered and the entryway was full of tourists; it smelt damp and felt stale but I suppose it wasn’t that surprising given the location. Not great but I prevailed. I couldn’t see anyone in the restaurant; it was empty; so I asked an older white male where I could freshen up before I sat down and he told me to use a public restroom.
I was speechless. No hotel staff member has ever suggested to me to use a public restroom in my life, whether I have been a guest or not. I explained my situation but he absolutely insisted that I leave imminently unless I could give him the number of the room in which my friend was staying in, which I did not know. Given that I was coming in for lunch and paying for them I didn’t think that would have mattered.
Writing this, the only explanation we can think of is that this man genuinely thinks a public restroom is more hygienic than his own hotel. Given my experience of the hotel thus far, this idea is not entirely inconceivable. Either that or he is extremely rude or socially challenged and refuses guests to use facilities, but I cannot imagine anyone lacking etiquette or common sense or gentility to that level. Perhaps it is a policy to not allow restaurant clients to use bathrooms but it is a rather shocking one and I have not come across another hotel in this city or in this country… or even in this world with that policy.
For future guests - please do not experience London in this place, or if you already have, please do not let it ruin your experience. It is truly un-British in quality and service.

Dear Z7753RHms, Following your review of Hotel 41 We are very sure that your experience and review is in relation to another property, not Hotel 41. Because of our small boutique size, we operate on Residents only basis, so are unable to offer lunches and similar to non-resident guests. We also do not actually have a Restaurant. Another design makeup of the hotel is that we are located on the top floor of a much larger building, so coming into the hotel from street level makes it impossible to access the main part of the hotel without first being received by our Lobby desk and then escorted to our Executive Lounge by means of an express elevator. Whilst we are of course very sorry to hear of your experience, my team and I are disappointed about the rating you have left on Hotel 41’s page and a review in detail that is unrelated to our hotel and the experience that we work so hard to offer our guests. I would be extremely appreciative if you could perhaps contact me at your convenience to discuss this review in more detail as I have been unable to hear back from you via the TripAdvisor platform. If you wish to contact me directly at the hotel or please do email me at, malcom41@rchmail.com I am always available. Warm regards, Malcolm Hendry General Manager

I don't know the answer but any questions you have, just contact the hotel. They're unfailingly helpful and friendly and not in the least bit 'stuffy' - it's what makes staying there so enjoyable.
I hope you find the information you need.
