We spent a weekend at this boutique property which made us feel like family. Agree only with the review below that it's odd they charge up front for the stay, rather than at the end, but that's just a technicality. The rooms and the entire...More
I have to admit I always stay at the Connaught and Dorchester so a bit spoiled. London hotel room filled as two major art shows going on. Was told that this was the best of the boutique hotels and owner has a number of interesting...More
My wife and I had high tea in this lovely hotel's dining room. We made a reservation and enjoyed a traditional tea in a non-traditional yet tasteful room with a lush garden just outside (you can have it served there if you like). Trimmed finger...More
My husband and I stayed here years ago and it was very comfortable and convenient. So this year, for our 25th anniversary, I booked it again. The years have been very kind to Number 16 - it is now really stylish, with a gorgeous garden...More

As welcoming

The hotel is on a quietist side street. There is street parking but I did not see many available spaces. You can probably double park near the door and someone from the hotel would be able to come out and help. Remember that this is Kensington; the traffic wardens are extremely watchful and are fond of booting improperly parked cars.
