I enjoyed my stay. The staff makes you feel welcome. First of all I had a few special requests, which were taken care of very well. It is great that for room dining you have the Nobu Restaurant. I also liked the breakfast very much, the creations were very tasty and perfectly presented. The billing concept was a little bit intransparent (coffee drinks for example not included). The rooms were well designed and offered a great sleeping quality. All inquiries were handled quickly and professionally and when a small problem occurred, the duty manager immediately contacted us and took care of it - that's how it works in well-managed hotels! Recommendation!

We did the weekend brunch deal which was sooooo good ! If you add it all up you pay about £60 for the room . We did get a cheeky upgrade thanks to our friends and the room was lovely . Nice bathroom and nice bed ! Bottle of champers in the room which was included in the package . The brunch on Sunday was amazing although they did seem to struggle with the demand but all food was available . Customer service was good as my friend did have a couple of issues with her room but these were compensated for . Loved the late check out as well felt as if we had been there for ages !

I recently had a 4 night stay at the hotel to which overall I was very satisfied with the service.
My first interaction at check in to say the least was the worst experience I ever had! The lady who served on front desk was tutting and exceptionally rude and seemed she does not want her job or was leaving. I was astounded I was treated like that when I first stepped into the hotel and raised this to another team member. A manager did call me later and invited to meet him and offered a complementary drink (which I did not take advantage of).
After this bad start I must say the rest of my stay was more than comfortable and inviting. The rooms are clean/modern and personally I liked the wide range of tv selection channels / shower pressure and the bed was very comfortable. As I was there to have a 4 day break away from family/kids; I only intended to rest / retreat and dine!
The location of the hotel is exceptional where there is a fantastic array of food and drink options in walking distance and can be delivered to the hotel and obviously the exclusive Nobu dine in restaurant itself onsite!
I would like to specially say a HUGE thank you to "Sham" who was at front desk most of the time; his attention to detail and friendly approach made me feel at home. He would always ask where I was going and made suggestions and always asked for feedback after when I came back to the hotel. He was genuinely interested and never missed a trick! His colleague "Chris" who worked next to him was very proactive and it seemed these two gents had everything under control. If it wasn't for Sham I don't think I would have enjoyed my stay as much because I felt I was cared and looked after above and beyond!
Moral of the story is ; one person can't tarnish your stay and there are good/decent normal people in life who can make everything ok!
I used the spa facilities and I was very impressed; it was very private and never busy. It was exceptionally clean at all times and had extra towels / amenities etc
I did have a personal request to clean my room in the evenings so I can sleep on in the morning; and this request was took onboard and followed throughout my stay.
Thankyou once again and I hope to book with yourselves in the near future!

Exquisite stay in this premium and luxury Hotel in Shoreditch.

Stayed at the Nobu hotel in Shoreditch recently for business in London. After travelling by train in to Liverpool Street the hotel is a short taxi hop or easy walk from the station.

Check-in was easy with the excellent front of house staff, who looked after me and made sure I was comfortable, even late on a Sunday evening.

My room was beautifully presented with a small welcome treat. There was an amazing ambiance throughout the entire hotel, which continued with the well appointed bedroom. The stripped back urban feel of the room with great temperature and lighting control meant that the space could be amazingly well balanced according to personal taste. It definitely achieved it's purpose of being incredibly zen.

The room was spotlessly clean with a beautiful bathroom and all the products and facilities available to me I might need.

I don't think I've ever had a stay in London that I felt like having such an immediate personal sanctuary as the bedroom at the Nobu hotel in Shoreditch. The hotel and room provided me with an immediate switch off from a busy day at work in the city.

Breakfast was included and the Nobu "English" breakfast was unbeatable as the best breakfast I've eaten at any hotel anywhere. A premium fresh buffet was also available to me with fresh fruit, juices, cereal, continental selection and sushi.

Absolutely wonderful stay; can't thank the general manager Toby and his staff enough for the warm welcome and stay.

I took a chance on the Nobu Hotel because The Boundary was sold out. It was just plain disappointing. The location is great, but the room was small and uninspired. It felt more like a cheap Disney set than anything authentic. Don't get me started about the restaurant. It was obviously built for IG / selfies rather than anything resembling a good dining experience. Nobu Matsuhisa should just acknowledge he has become a brand rather than a chef.

If you're considering staying here, do yourself a favor: Go stay at The Boundary, and go eat at Brat, or any one of the 100 restaurants in Shoreditch that will provide a better experience.

I stayed here or New Year’s Day following a previous visit which was lovely I think the staff are very nice however something is missing. small details like having the Wi-Fi code in the room, like not giving us the best room available for the price after we queried that we wanted to a bathtub after seeing out room, we were moved to one a couple floors below which was so much nicer for the same price - why didn’t they give this to us when we were checking in? Had to call the reception and the room service a couple of times in our visit - phones took ages to answer and service (plates and then champagne so no food) took forever to arrive. Definitely not a 5* for the nearly £500 room.

We had the most amazing stay at the Nobu in Shoreditch, our second time at the hotel, the first time being the first month they opened in 2017 which showed the potential of a top notch hotel. The improvements in the last few years were remarkable, particularly the staff. We made our reservation with Giulia who was incredible at understanding our needs, travelling with two teenagers- and helped us find the perfect fit for accommodations given the budget. And when we got there, the front desk staff made the stay memorable. Chris, Meddie, Anju - thank you so much for the ideas, the smiles, laughs and especially for making us feel at home every time we walked in the door.
The food at the Nobu restaurant was of course perfection, the gym and sauna's were practical and perfect for a quick workout, the location of the hotel was in a vibrant part of the city with amazing coffee and restaurants (and nightlife which we witnessed but didn't partake in) and a healthy walk (or short taxi ride) to everywhere we wanted to go around London.
We will definitely be making our third stay the next time we visit London!

Nice hotel with spacious rooms (especially the bathroom), extremely clean, breakfast buffet and extra hot meals! The best part is the service, staff here is very polite and always ready to assist. In regards to Nobu restaurant I would recommend having a reservation since it was always busy, delicious sushi and amazing cocktails! I 'd love to revisit.
Some downsides would be the noise of an ongoing renovation on the upper floor..., the room window couldn't be opened so you couldn't get fresh air and the location which is a bit risky (motorcycle riders stole our phone from our hands while we were walking around).

What a unique hotel! The ambience is cool elegance, Japanese themed, and sleek in design. The rooms share this aesthetic, and are well appointed with lighting, outlets (always important for travelers), and a bathroom that produces hot water right away, and drains smoothly. Our room even had its own Japanese tea set.

And did I mention quiet? Once in our room, we could not hear any of the city noise that surrounds the hotel. Amazing.

We ate at the Nobu Restaurant in the hotel the night we arrived and found the staff friendly and attentive. We did not have a reservation (our fault), so we ate at the kitchen "bar" and watched the chefs hard at work. Fascinating stuff, and the food was outstanding. (See excellent salad below).

The thing I liked best, however, was how welcoming and helpful the front desk is at this hotel. Shout out to Lino Leite in particular for helping us navigate the food scene in Shoreditch, plus all the other useful tips he provided. There are lots of good hotels in London, but not all of them have standout staff members like Lino.

Highly recommended!

I spent four nights at Nobu Shoreditch, expecting this would be an exceptional experience for an event our company was staging. It was highly average and inferior value for money. The food was the biggest letdown. Nobu should be excellent on this front. It was very expensive and bland. The breakfast was appalling. It cost us £27 per head, and the only protein available was scrambled eggs, and it was the same each morning. The coffee (which should be a staple of this type of place) was bitter and weak. They seemed to be incredulous at requests for decaff and variants with oak milk etc. The limited breakfast was also very unhealthy and seemed like something from a Hilton in the 1990s. Perhaps they are trying to recoup Covid costs? The bento boxes lunch was OK, but they served the same food as a Buffett for lunch the next day. The prevalent use of cod became a joke amongst the delegates. The rooms were adequate, but no instructions on how to use anything, which, again, all the participants commented on as there were quirks in the window blinds and heating controls etc. Worse of all was the reluctant service from many staff who seemed resentful of the guests. I can only put this down to poor leadership. When staff resent what they are doing, it's because they are poor hires or badly treated by their managers. We won't be using Nobu again for our corporate bookings. Lazy managers trading on a name.
