The rooms while compact are perfectly adequate, the bed very comfy, the towels just right and there is enough storage space. Plus there is the security of floor access being by your room key card - a great bonus if a female traveller.
The only gripe is paying for Wi-Fi - it really irks me in my travels, that while only a nominal charge, it’s still required to buy Wi-Fi time unless 30 minutes is sufficient
The breakfast is good value for money even thought the restaurant area is small and has no windows. The staff are to be commended for their cheerful and willingness to help. Katja on reception is a gem and a wonderful ambassador and face for Travelodge.
We only stayed the one night as we were in London for a concert but I would happily return and stay longer.
Top tip though is bring ear plugs as the road noise can be loud at times

On arrival receptionist very friendly lovely smile explained everything to us that we needed to know. Our room was on the ground floor no 20 and first impression was how clean it was all spotless. Plenty of hangers also had an iron and board which was great. The usual hot drink sachets with a small kettle was all good. In my opinion the walls need insulation because you can hear the people in the next room also the TV so I'd take ear plugs. Breakfast was great lots of choice Fruit cereal bacon eggs sausage beans tomatoes etc, coffee tea and a selection of fruit juices.
For a location that's convenient for the station I would recommend this Travelodge .
Rang and asked a few days if we could drop bags off early - no problem.
We arrived around 12 and asked that we wanted to drop bags off , but was persuaded to pay a £10 for an early arrival.
Didn't take much notice of the room , thought it was a bit small .
We can back later I was very well with a bug .
Anyways the room I stayed in a few Travelodges in my life , but they've never put me a box room described as a Standard room .
Rm 307 had a red stain on the top sheet the base of the bed was threadbare the basin sink was a treacle and badly cleaned and scratched .
The person on the left hand side of the bed could only see half of the TV due to the curtains .
This for £251.00 with breakfast complained in the morning and the small girl behind the desk refunded £90.00 back £60 for cleanliness of the room and £30.00 for inconvenience.
This was a total lie and 4 days later I put in a complaint and after waiting another 7 days the requirement was 5 days for a reply .
I got a e ticket refund for £90 .

Positive:
Clean quiet room with comfortable bed
Useful USB charging points
Tea bags, hot chocolate and kit kats provided
Perfectly adequate breakfast for the cost
Polite staff on check in
Negative:
Had to share breakfast table with strangers as a very small breafast room in basement
TV signal too poor for digital TV. No signal for over 90% of the time. This should be addressed with a signal booster
Coffee maker in bedroom didn't work

The air conditioning was excellent
Not sure the breakfast was worth £10.25 but it was nice enough. Maybe just because I only have toast and tea, would be better if it was included.
Disappointing that in 2023 you need to pay for WIFI and can only connect 2 devices. Should be free especially as the WiFi wasn’t very fast.
The worst thing about my stay was the noise from outside. I didn’t sleep for 2 nights. The hotel could do with upgraded windows to try and block out the noise. I did expect some noise due to location but didn’t expect the windows to be so shoddy.
The bar cafe needs a serious update, reminded me of a staff room at work with a bar dropped into it and the vending machine was broken the entirety of my stay.
The ironing board, kettle and tea were a nice addition.
