Rooms: are based above a public house however rarely hear any noise from downstairs.
There are in need of renovation, especially the bathrooms and the windows are very loose and thin and you will here the traffic from the main rd.
3 out 5 (rooms slightly let it down but are clean)

Location: is fantastic and is in the centre of Greenwich with park a 5 min walk away.
5 out 5

Price: Depending on when you stay and how you book but overall the location is worth the money.
4 out 5 rooms let it down.

Staff: are all friendly and welcoming and great service in the bar.
5 out 5

Breakfast: is now only Continental however there is a good choice
4 out 5

Food: this is where I think the pub stands out, I have probably stay here twice a month and every time I have eaten here the food has been fantastic and you won’t be disappointed.
5 out 5

Stayed here for four nights when visiting nearby family who tested Covid positive at the last moment! It’s more hotel with a pub downstairs than a pub with a few rooms. We stayed in the ‘family room’ at first, so were impressed by plenty of space, but were moved to a normal room after a couple of nights. This was smaller, but both were extremely clean and comfortable, and well equipped (though with little storage space and, in the second room, no chair other than at the desk). The bathroom was very clean and well ordered, the shower very efficient; rooms have tea making, TV, hair dryer, wi-fi, and a/c. Despite the pub both rooms were very quiet. Judging by other reviews seen on this site the place has had a major makeover recently. There is a restaurant at the back of the pub which serves breakfast (fine, not lavish). If the location suits this is a good choice. Staff were friendly, helpful, and very diligent. NB there is no lift so if carrying bags up stairs bothers you (and there are lots of stairs!) ask for a lower number room.

Even though the accommodation is pretty much located in the centre of Greenwich, it was surprisingly quiet in the room. We were put in room 101 which completely exceeded our expectations. The room was one of the biggest we have stayed in. This was the biggest room at the Inn but the room we stayed in before was also a great size so you won't be disappointed with any room you are in i'm sure . Our room had 3 lovely floor to ceiling windows, good size bathroom which was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, also a pull out sofa bed which was also comfy. We had a great nights sleep! Location was great, 5min walk from the station, 5min walk the other way to the cutty sark and other attractions. Plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. This was the 2nd time we have stayed and we have already booked again for next year!

We arrived late at night on a three night stay we booked 3 other rooms for our family members to attend my daughters wedding locally. The room 106 was tired, grubby and in desperate need of refurbishment. We raised this with our booking agent Booking.com who said they would make the property aware. We were nervous in doing this as we knew it would be difficult to find another hotel to accommodate us at short notice and had no real choice but to stay. I was asked to provide photographs which I did snd advised the manager had been informed. Nothing happened, nobody spoke to us and nobody offered a refund or discount.
We were all so disappointed with the quality and standard of the room. The carpets were filthy and stained as was the soft furnishings and bedside cabinets so much so we dare not empty our suitcases and left our wedding attire hanging in the suit carriers. The electrical appliances PAT testing stickers expired in November 2020. Our bedside lamp was broken and could not be turned on. The towel rail in the bathroom did not work and the fitting to broken that exposed a live wire. The lampshades all covered in dust and cobwebs. The windows were filthy dirty and the paintwork chipped and down to bare wood and also grubby. The curtains were poorly fitted and creased. The bathroom sink soaked you as the pressure was too great for the size of the sink. Their was mildieu on the ceiling, walls and grouting. The floor grouting looked dirty too. The whole place lacked any attention to detail and was tired snd long overdue a refurbishment. The halls and staircase smelt stale and unclean snd carpeting in need of a f cleaning. The staircases throughout are very steep and uneven. We did not eat in the place due to the poor standards of cleanliness. I will say the bed laundry was clean and comfortable and the staff we met were polite. Very disappointed with our stay and especially as this was meant to be a treat for the family but instead ended up being an apology and a grin snd bare it experience which we would not like to repeat. Reading back at other reviews here the elusive management are aware of the issues snd despite saying they will be addressed clearly haven’t. The property needs attention NOW and in my opinion does not meet basic standards of hygiene and cleanliness. They should also respond to complaints and not ignore people who pay good money to stay with them.

Let's start by saying it was a group of peopl well organized, a guide took us all over London with no problems. However the staff at the hotel was terrible.it took them 1hr to check us in. Kept losing keys, made wrong payments, one room freezing cold. a lady, who was previously working at the reception, simply vanished at the first problem saying she was not in charge or responsible for anything that was going on. Breakfast poor, check out made leaving keys at the desert check out desk .

We booked through booking.com a double room when we arrived we where told only twins available.
The receptionist with curly blond hair was abrupt and didn’t seem to care..
The actual room was ok and clean beds where very comfortable. But the bathroom was not good. The seal round the bath was old and dirty looking no plug for the bath and the water that trickled out of the shower was like warm.
I actually had a cold shower in the morning as there was no hot water.
The stairwell is really scruffy with battered walls and carpet
It’s a real shame because it’s above a beautiful pub and it’s a great location

Stayed here last night with my daughter & was very pleased with the clean & comfortable accommodation. King sized bed, lovely walk in shower & even air-conditioning in our room.
Not such a good experience this morning at breakfast though. I ordered 2 poached eggs on toast then after 20 mins the waitress came out with my plate & said sorry but the chef isn't very good at doing poached eggs. Then proceeded to put the plate of rock hard eggs on toast in front of me asking 'is that OK for you'?
It looked so unappetising I sent it back & just ended up with a piece of toast.
Why does this place employ a 'chef' that can't even cook a poached egg???
Would stay here again but would certainly go somewhere else for breakfast next time.

Had stayed at the Mitre a few years ago and really enjoyed it although it was looking a little tired. I was therefore looking forward to staying again, especially after finding out it had been refurbished.
Whilst the bar and accommodation were lovely (albeit I found the bed a little hard but I understand that’s a personal preference).
However, breakfast was nothing like the options that showed on the website! Most options were vegetarian . On ordering the full breakfast, we were informed that there were no mushrooms or sausages (despite a sainsburys being a few hundred yards up the road). One couple were awaiting food before it’s, yet took 30mins to have breakfast arrive. Only paper cups readily available for tea and had to find a member of staff to find some mugs. Breakfast was hopelessly understaffed.
Understand that there are teething problems with any re-opening, but then hotels usually offer reduced rates for this.

The location is great, great deal as well.
The room is spacious, the beds, however, are miserable. Particularly the additional bed had to be placed on top of the coffee table to avoid sinking to the floor.
The staff was very friendly.
The bathroom is top!

Hotel room was nice, clean, quiet but just a mini fridge so you can have real milk rather than disgusting uht milk!!! Considering the fact that it is close to everything and on a busy road, sleeping with the windows open was not an issue and it didn't seem overly noisy.

Breakfast was disappointing, the prices in the bar are different to the menus in the room. When it came, everything was only just warm, eggs overcooked and sausage dry.

We used the hotel as a base when going to the o2. It's about a 40 minute walk but you can follow the Thames path all the way which is a lovely walk on a nice day. It's across the road from Greenwich market. A 5 minute walk from the Cutty Sark and the DLR. Really well located and would not hesitate to stay again.

Just a heads up, you get told that the bar is open until 12am but when we got back at 11:20pm, they had called last orders so could not get a drink even as a guest!
