Great place. Comfortable room, thoughtfully renovated place (drying room is a particularly good idea!), good location near the town center, terrific breakfast, personable hosts. We landed here at the conclusion of a three-day walk over the Cumbria Way, couldn't have been luckier.

Thank you for your enquiry, rooms 4 and 8 are on the rear of the building and are our smallest rooms, hence the cheaper price but they aren't cramped and would definitely be ample for a solo traveller. We have three parking spaces but there is free on street parking at the front of the guest house, October is a quieter period so parking should be no problem.
