We stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting Winchester and what a great place to stay. The hotel is ideally situated for the city and the facilities are very satisfactory. The bedroom we had was very satisfactory, whilst our friends had an upgraded room which was beautiful. The hotel is very comfortable and the breakfast was promptly served and cooked fresh. This hotel is highly recommended.

I stayed here with my husband and son for one night. We had a welcome reception by Yvonne and on showing us to the rooms were asked if they were suitable. Beautiful rooms and decor, we stayed in rooms 8&9 opposite each other on the top floor. The rooms had complimentary molton brown toiletries should you wish to use them, tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits and a bottle of water each. Breakfast was lovely - a good choice including fruit juice, cereals, fruit, yoghurts and the cooked options. We stayed here for our son's graduation and were able to leave our car in the car park until early evening when we went home. The B&B is in a good location with the Cathedral only 15 mins walk away. We would definitely stay here again if vising Winchester.

We stayed for one night booked through Macs Adventures while walking the South Downs Way. This was a fantastic stay, the room decor was period in context with the house, but had all the amenities and felt like it had been decorated yesterday. It is located just a short walk from the city centre of Winchester. The breakfast was also excellent with plenty of choice and plentiful for two hungry walkers.

Gifford House is beautiful. We had a fabulous stay, we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was clean, comfy and had everything we could possibly need, from high end toilettes, bottle water and biscuits. The breakfast was excellent. Maps and information always on hand. What with Free parking and being only a short walk away from town centre what more could you ask for. Perfect.
