Stayed here whilst working for the week. Single room. They seemed to have only 3-4 other guests hence me getting the price knocked down to £28pn from £35. I stayed in a grubby little box room on the first floor. Two showers across the landing were available. One never got warm and the other just about became a warm trickle. The Wi-fi might as well have had a hamster running around a wheel to power it up. Won’t be going back in a hurry 😡

I rented out one of the apartments this weekend just gone 27 th-30th Aug and was appalled from start to finish , firstly I have never known a check.im system like the one run by these people, not once did we see anybody, I had mailed 3 days before our stay to find out how to check with no reply , I had a message via what's app 2 hours before check in asking for picture Id from both of us as was with a friend , then got to the apartments to a message on the front door to call the number , I called to say we had arrived thinking someone would come let us in but instead I got a message with instructions on how to get into our apartment, so we finally get in lovely kettle on we then start to find little things wrong , no bathroom lock , shower mouldy, toilet not flushing properly, thd lino on kitchen was coming up which was a hazard especially as I am disabled, then we go.out and the door handle come off in my hand so I took pics and sent to the what's app number I had , was told sorry and that maintenance team woukd be on it next day. I then get a emal to say they had taken payment for the apartment but the amount was £50 more than we had booked it at do.i messge to be told its booking.com fault and that they would contact them , I am still waiting in mean time Sunday I actually did fall because of the kitchen lino so am niw feeling very sore and it's done my already painful back worse and nit done much for my hip where I had replacement last September, have also pulled muscle and whiplash toy meck , I have mailed in a complaint and also asked via what's app if this has been revieved but I seem to now be being ignored , the whole weekend apartment wise was a disaster and Sunday spoilt because I was in pain and cud not move my neck. Also for info the fridge and microwave were not in the kitchen but in the living bit where beds were and the fridge is very noisy , pics on booking.com do not look the same as what u get and parking is awful, did not get parked outside property l weekend apart from when we arrived. Please be cautious.

My grandson and friend stayed at your Addendro property on Saturday night.15/07/23

There were several areas of concern and the cost did not meet standards.

As requested rang to confirm some details - no answer
emailed information - no answer
On arrival there was a mattress lying in the hall
No staff on site
In the room there was a cable running under the carpet.
A handle from the window on the ledge.
A door with a padlock hanging off (pic)
A socket came away from the wall during the night (pic)
Surprised that it would pass any hotel inspection.
No staff on site when leaving.

I have tried contacting the owners but they have an agent who blocks coorespondence!

No loo roll. TV and WiFi not working. Yellow stained towels. Noise all through the night. Doors and front door continually slamming. Endless talking, laughing and constant mobile phones ringing. People smoking and talking very loudly outside our window. Certain guests letting friends in. People running up and down the stairs all night long. Something suspicious was going on. Far too much activity. Literally all through the night. Didn't sleep a wink. Don't touch this dump. Carpets stained, warn and dirty.
Trying to get refund .

stayed in many places around the country and this is possible the worst run, and by far the dirtyest place i have ever stayed in. I would usually not bother writing anything but the level of service we received was digusting, it raises the question how is an establishment like this still in business. I do not say this lightly when i say i would not have let my dog stay there , but unfortunately we had too. Avoid like the plague!!!!

• key fob to get in and out of the front and bedroom doors ( not enough info on how to use it 'apparently you just hold the palm of your hand for a milly second ) nightmare!
• kettle can only boil on the floor as the lead doesn't reach the power point.
• power point dangerous ( see photos ) and will report HSE & council.
• tv slightly bigger than an iPad ( didn't even bother turning it on )
• wifi was as fast as a slug.
• online room photos must of been taken from a different hotel ( I'll hire that photographer as he/she did the rooms justice).
• you can here a pin drop from neighbouring rooms, I could hear all the conversation.
• will I stay again.... NO! And beware anyone who stays there.. you have been warned!
Feel insulted they took it my money as we stay all over the country and pay less for rooms than that and get much better!
The key fobs cost more than the rooms.. perhaps that's what you're paying for.

Booked 1 night so I could arrive early to pick parents up from cruise and avoid early morning traffic! Arrived at Addenro easy to find. No parking available found a little spot round the streets. Got to the front door couldn't get in with code.
Another guest let me in. Got the room couldn't get in code didn't work, rang the number and was given a new code apparently the internet was down! Opened the door to the most horrendous room. Shocking. I kept convincing myself it was only 1 night. The sink was rank, the carpet was awful, the bed just horrendous but clean sheets,
Damp all On the ceiling,tv didn't work, no wifi, it was grim. I felt a sense of panic if there was a fire. So I made my checks and had planned my escape in case of emergency. I even put a towel across the gap in my door. This place is awful
Beyond any imagination,
Especially the prices they expect, I got a late booking deal for £30 reduced from 50! Yep you may say you got what you paid for! But the pictures are fake none of the rooms are like this at all. Never never again. I'd rather had slept in my car.
I managed to doze off fully in my clothes for About 4hrs. I left at 6.30 and sat in costa and waited there.
This place is a disgrace and how booking.com can be associated with these properties is shocking. Do
Not stay here! Pay the extra and stay at the ibis budget down the road. The guy who owns this property should be ashamed and it's an accident waiting to happen. You have be warned 🙏

We booked this hotel through HOTELS . COM. Please do not believe their website as it is false. We paid hotels .Com to stay at ADDENRO House in Southampton for an overnight stay. When we arrived the hotel it looked as if it was closed and derelict! The windows, door, doorstep and front area were covered In dirt, dust and mess it smelled terrible. The Muslin type curtain cloth at the Windows was disgusting. We thought this can’t be right? We knocked on the door and a scruffy dirty looking man answered the door. He showed us inside and it was like something out of the 1960’s in need of repair. . He showed us to the room and immediately we told him we were not happy as this was not like we booked on hotels. Com website. He said well the website needs updating! I asked if we could have another clean tidy room in good repair. He said he didn’t have another room any better than this. The room had twin beds - we booked double bed. There was 3 curtains at the window not one of them were the same. The lock for the door was rusty and out of date. We had a shared bathroom( this was a dirty smelly toilet on its own with no hand basin to wash your hands! The shower was in another dirty smelly room with black all around the walls the floor was disgusting and the shower was so mouldy ( with black hair in the plug hole). It was appalling. I e mailed hotels . Com instantly as I could not get them on the phone. That was ignored! We were going on a cruise the day after - we did not pay for the room at the premises - so we thought they understood our complaint. But three days later they took the money out of our bank! We have written to ADDENRO House & Hotels. Com several times but they are not doing anything about it. We are warning people not to use this ADDENRO house in Southampton as it is terrible and would advise not to book with hotels.com

I was staying there for work purposes and so it was only for getting my head down for some sleep and even on that basis it struggled. I can safely say that the 3 star rating this place has must have been given by someone who was blind, deaf, did not posses a sense of smell and also must have been numb all over. as far as where to begin, the first time i checked in it took them 15 minutes just to answer the door.

I have had the displeasure of staying in 3 different rooms on the occasions i have been there and none of then had en-suites, just a sink that looked like it had been retrieved from a 60's home improvement museum. All three rooms were dirty and one of them had a strange mark on the floor that i can only say resembled some form of dried bodily fluid. One of the rooms had a broken ceiling only being held up by some plasterboard that had been nailed into place.

To say the beds had seen better days would be a gross understatement, they made loud creaking noises every time i so much as moved my little toe. As for the service the man looked at me with disgust when i complained about the unreasonable state of the shower (that's being kind the shower head only had a few nozzles working because the others were coated with lime scale). Overall I can honestly say that in terms of comfort, luxury and basic hygiene a park bench would honestly be a more suitable option.
