Initially myself and a group of friends had a lovely evening celebrating my 31st birthday. On arrival we were told that the table was reserved from 6pm for diners. As 6pm arrived we finished our drinks and started to leave when I took a menu...More

A fire was burning and the atmosphere was welcoming and good because there were several people already there at 7 pm and the staff were very welcoming. Also a big candle burned on every table. There was a good menu and we chose from the...More

About
Description
Welcome to the Mousetrap Inn in Bourton on the Water a high quality, reliable dining pub that is open for everyone - locals, visitors, families, parties and dogs. Rumours abound as to how the name came about More (Agatha Christie is supposed to have been a guest back in the day) but what is for sure is that it has been lovingly brought up to date with a quirky interior. As a Freehouse with a well stocked cellar, we are showcasing the best of the region’s craft ales and beers as well as an interesting wine list and a menu that uses as many local suppliers as possible. In winter our log fire, sofas and game selection invites you to stay a bit longer in the comfort and warmth. Our In has 10 rooms and is open all day every day. Join us for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, Sunday Roast and everything in-between. We offer coffee, cakes, loose leaf teas and organic tea blends. Of course if you fancy a glass of Prosecco we can help with that one too. We are looking forward seeing you soon. Less
