A comfortable hotel with good service. I have stayed at this hotel before and I like its central location. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast good value. One problem :- I do not like duvets - far too hot for me, so I usually remove the cover and use that during sleep. On removing the cover from the duvet I discovered that the duvet had several unsightly and nasty stains. I think it should be destroyed.
Very fiendly staff. Good breakfast with little waste as they asked exactly what you wanted (in great detail!). Convenient for town centre. Easy to find with large car park outside (although you have to pay before 5 on a saturday).
I've stayed here several times and the rooms are clean and staff are pleasant. However, how good the breakfast is depends on who's in the kitchen. Our first morning , the breakfast was great. Second morning. Not good at all. My heart sank when i saw who was in the kitchen.I want eggs only if the yolks are runny. Personal preference. I make this abundantly clear when ordering. One of the cooks gets this wrong EVERY time. Whether I ask for poached - he pulls a face at this request- or fried, it's wrong. Why is he making the eggs first???!! Then he leaves them under the heat lamp - TO GO HARD! How difficult can it be to cook an egg? Maybe I should show you...... It's the only thing wrong, but a crap breakfast is a crap breakfast, and let's be honest, is the main attraction to the Premier Inn. Get a grip man. …
Not a bad hotel, room was clean but let down by unfriendly abrupt reception staff, I arrived slightly early to avoid all the rail strike chaos and I’ve stayed at plenty of premier inn’s before. I expected to be able to check-in a little earlier, at first the guy on reception was relatively friendly and told me my room should be ready in 30 mins as I arrived an hour and a half before check-in, I said thank and went to do some shopping on my return after a good 45 mins the guy just wanted to completely ignore me and when I asked if my room was ready very abruptly said no and I can’t promise anything before 3pm, I politely reminded him he said 30 mins, but he would have none of it, so then I said fine and sat by reception, when I asked if I could get a beer from the bar while I waited he then abruptly said no again and said the bar (which was a fridge of beers) was closed (it was 2:30pm in the afternoon on a Friday!) he then told me I could go to the Fruego bar downstairs, so I took his advice in the morning and went there instead of having a premier inn breakfast that I was thinking of having! :-)…
Premier Inn have really been clever with the customer requirements brief and this location in Lewes shows it works well. We were impressed with customer service, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast. The place looked new and immaculate. Council car park outside serves it well with free overnight parking from 5pm to 9 am. Staff here should pay themselves on the back for being consistently good.
We really enjoyed staying at Premier inn in Lewes, the room was excellent and very convenient for our needs whilst we visited family who live in Lewes. All of the bathroom amenities were in very good condition and the shower was hot with plenty of good water pressure. Highly recommended
Stayed in a new Premiere plus room which was superb. Great breakfast and plenty of choice. Could not be more central and very close to the railway station. The staff were exceptional in their genuine friendliness and willingness to help
Just stayed at Lewes Town Centre hotel and the staff were so helpful, especially Sou who went out of her way to make breakfast fun for our 5 year old son. We received a warm welcome, room was good and the food excellent.
Top quality Premier Inn. Nice rooms, loved the breakfast and really convenient walking distance to the great pubs and two restaurants we visited!! The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great weekend. Thank you from the South Downs Walkers
Good staff and good quality with the money situation and very helpful and they got a car park at the back of the hotel room and there’s shops as well not far from the hotel and very friendly and family hotel as well.
