I stayed with my partner over the pride weekend. We stayed in the small double with ensuite shower room. The room itself was small (hence the name) but perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable. Bottled water and chocolates were provided and water replenished each day. The bed was comfortable and towels replaced each day. Breakfast was lovely with a range of options available. Richard and Simon were wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. There aren't many places anymore which offer guests a more home from home experience. We have stayed in many hotels and b&bs in Brighton but this one has to be the most pleasant and welcoming we have experienced. Nothing was too much of an issue. Next time we are in Brighton we will definitely stay at Brightonwave again! 10/10!
We stayed for 4 nights at this great property. Our room was spacious, well appointed and well maintained. We also had a balcony where we would sit and enjoy the cool sea air at night (with a glass of wine !!) The breakfast was superb, kept us going till dinner time. The location is great, minutes to sea front and to "The Lanes" The two gentlemen running this property (Richard and Simon) are the epitome of congenial hosts, always very helpful and obliging. No question, we will return to stay here on our next visit to Brighton. Highly recommended.
The two guys Richard and Simon who are running the hotel do care a lot about their guests. Service is excellent. The room we had was really spacious featuring a nice bathroom with shower. Room and bathroom were clean and in good shape. There are several kinds of breakfasts on menu which are freshly cooked every morning to your order. There is always some fresh fruit and some cookies on display to take away during the day. Parking in British cities is always a challenge, esp. for foreigners. The hotel provides parking vouchers to avoid the hassle of how to pay (or even getting a fine) if you are lucky enough to find a spot. The guys provided us with great recommendations were to get a very decent vegetarian dinner. We truly felt that they care for their own business in contrary to the big hotel-companies. So, if you ever happen to visit Brighton, go ahead and look for accommodation in the Brightonwave.…
What a lovely little hotel! Fantastic location, lovely rooms, great breakfast and amazing host. Richard and Simon were super helpful and nothing was too much hassle! Even decorating the room with balloons for a birthday :) Would highly recommend! A fantastic little gem!
Location is about a block away & in from the pier. Close to bus stops, about a 15 min. walk from train station. We had 2 rooms, 1 single & 1 w/ twin beds. Both lovely, modern & very clean. Good beds & shower (push the button on the handle for the hot water!). Larger room had A/C, mini fridge, & iron (not sure why smaller room couldn't have iron). Water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate & treats provided in room. Dining area open till 7pm, where snacks, books, videos were available. Breakfast is included. A # of choices, delicious & beautifully plated. Hosts, Richard & Simon were incredibly helpful & friendly, via email prior to & during our visit. We arrived a bit early & left a bag in 1 room, while the rest were moved into the other by the hosts while we were out exploring. (No lift). They also spent a lot of time with us, not just helping us figure out the buses we needed to get to hike Seven Sisters, but then when we had problems straightening out transportation problems (of our own doing) to Heathrow Richard went above & beyond dealing with websites, cabs, etc. for us. I have only praise for Richard, Simon, and Brightonwave!…
My boyfriend and I recently visited Brightonwave and we had the most amazing service. The room was clean and tidy and fans were available which was a life saver in this heat. The breakfast selection had a lot of variety, the pancakes were the winner for us. We also received lots of recommendations for places to visit specifically restaurants which were amazing. The walk from our hotel to the beach was not even 5 mins and we were so close to the peer. Definitely such a great place for a holiday!!!
Our Room was the four poster bedroom located on the first floor. The guest house is ideally located to Brighton seafront. Everything about our stay was perfect. From the moment, we arrived to the moment we left, there was nothing about our stay that could be faulted. Would highly recommend and will be staying there when next in Brighton.
Second time we have stayed. A warm welcome. Lovely clean rooms, cleaned daily which is nice Superb breakfast, especially the pancakes. Great location, very convenient and just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the weekend hens and stags. Plenty of nice restaurants and pubs within a short walk. And a couple of minutes from the beach.
Received such a warm welcome. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Extremely accommodating. All of my needs were catered for. Excellent location. Very quiet considering the location. Delicious breakfast. Loved the extra touches in the bathroom - shower cap, make up remover cloth, etc. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Outstanding customer service. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Brightonwave and would, without doubt, stay here again.
Really enjoyed our weekend at the Brighton wave. As a group of friends in our 40's and 50's, we stayed to celebrate birthdays. We were made to feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble for our lovely hosts. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and immaculately kept. Our breakfast was perfect, and an extensive choice was offered. The hotel itself, is centrally located with a short walk to the lanes, bars and restaurants. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this fabulous hotel, to anyone and I'm sure we will return. Thank you Richard and Simon for such a great stay.
