We booked two rooms for one night for a last minute getaway before our daughter returns to uni. After looking online at hotels, Blanch House stood out with all the excellent reviews. From the initial contact via email I then received a phone call from Kerry the owner letting me know they did have only two rooms available. I then called back after speaking to my husband and daughter to book and spoke to Enrique, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I received two follow up email confirmations along with some invaluable information regarding how they are dealing with COVID and the process on arrival etc, which put our mind at total ease.
We were welcomed by Kerry, what a lovely man! Big smile and so welcoming and friendly, personal service all the way (not what you ever get when checking into a hotel chain!!).
Both our rooms were beautiful, each with a different character/decor and everything in the room high end. The toiletries were an aromatherapy brand, fluffy towels and dressing gowns, freshly baked cookies along with tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water and everything you would want in the room.
Breakfast the next morning was delicious, continental all included in the price. Both Kerry and Enrique making you feel so welcome throughout, checking the room was ok, good sleep, nice evening etc......again the personal service from start to finish
They had covered everything to make you feel safe with COVID, sanitisers, face masks in public places, covering the remote controls in film etc and the hotel was spotlessly clean
Make this your choice when visiting Brighton if you enjoy luxury, great location and best of all how you are made to feel special and welcome as their guests

Upon arrival at Blanch House, we were greeted by a very friendly staff member, who showed us to our room. We had originally booked the Orchid room, but were shown to the Alice room, which was an unexpected upgrade at no extra cost! The Alice room was beautiful, with unique and interesting mirrored wallpaper making it feel like a wonderland. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet, despite the hotel being located fairly near to the seafront and city centre.
Andy had phoned ahead that morning and asked if we had any last minute requirements, and was able to arrange a non-feather bedding set due to my allergies.
Breakfast (continental) was included in the price of the stay, and was very good, with fresh fruit salad and loads of pastries on offer.
Overall, the staff were very friendly, approachable and eager to help. We would definitely stay again if we return to Brighton, and have recommended it to friends!

My partner and I stayed at Blanch House hotel after reading excellent reviews, and our expectations were exceeded! From the moment we arrived, Kerry made us feel like we were valued guests and really took the time to introduce us to the hotel and make us feel at home. Our room (Renaissance) was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was lovely with a powerful shower, beautiful products and a heated towel rail. Everything felt very luxurious! We were nervous at first about staying in a hotel due to COVID, but the staff were excellent, always wearing masks, and hand sanitiser was provided throughout the hotel. We were also temperature checked on the way in, so we felt reassured. The room had some homemade biscuits which were genuinely the best biscuits I've ever had, and I'm going to try and make them myself! Breakfast in the morning was delightful, with fresh croissants, homemade jams and much more. Enrique was friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed (he was even kind enough to gift us extra biscuits when I praised them!) We have stayed in a lot of hotels around the world, and Kerry and the team really stood out for us at Blanch house. We were offered everything we could need, and felt like everyone really took the time with us and made us feel special. Kerry and Enrique were so warm and easy to chat to, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Blanch House is a delighful hotel set in a prime location in Brighton, so close to the beach, pier and amentities. We spent a great weekend being looked after by attentive staff and in the very comfortable room called Poppy. The individual rooms, each with its own theme are echoed by the individual attention from the friendly staff, Enrique and Phillipe (in his first week!) keen to provide for a comfortable stay, with no shortage of suggestions of things to do while in Brighton.I can't leave a review without mentioning the cooked breakfast, available at weekends, I had a full english breakfast individually cooked to order by Andy, not a self serve buffet, honestly the best cooked breakfast I have had, equal to any 5*!! Would recommend a stay here and will definitely be returning.

Partner and I stayed here for a few nights, being our first time in Brighton but wanting to visit for several years we finally decided to go and settled on this hotel. Upon entry the staff greeted us with beaming smiles, a map of Brighton and talked us through their personal favourite places and restaurants to go to off of the beaten path. We've travelled across England and around the world and both agree that this is the best customer service we have recieved by far; felt like genuine friendly hospitality and that nothing was too much to ask for. Owner (forgotten your name already, sorry!!) Was continually around making sure everything was okay and if there is anything they can do for us. Room had everything you could ask for, furnished lovely and even included little extras like homemade biscuits. Lounge and bar to enjoy too - really feels like a home away from home. We had continental breakfast included in our rate which was more than generous, plenty of options to choose from and very well laid out with social distancing measures and extra safety precautions taken. Location is superb - hardly even a 2 minute walk to the seafront. Cannot recommend this hotel enough - will be back next year and will recommend to all friends & family!

Wow, what a real gem of a hotel! Where do I start, we arrived a couple of hours early but were greeted by the Assistant Manager with the warmest and friendliest of welcomes, our bags were taken and we were told they would be in our room once we returned from having a wander down to the beach.
On our return the owner Kerry greeted us as if we were longtime friends, we ordered some cocktails and soft drinks from the bar and relaxed in the gorgeously stylish lounge, with it being a hot day Kerry suggested moving tables to the window seated area where a nice cool breeze could be felt.
Kerry was extremely friendly, having a chat with us, finding out how our day had been, offering recommendations on local attractions, eateries and bars and all in a genuine way making us feel like a welcomed and important guests, it was obvious that exceptional customer service comes naturally to both him and all of his staff.
The cocktails were amazing!!
Our room was the “Alice” room which was styled absolutely gorgeous, comfy bed, tea and coffee facilities and a lovely touch were the homemade biscuits which were delicious. The room does overlook a beer garden which we were advised of by the hotel owner but the noise wasn’t over bearing at all in the early evening and that was with our window wide open however there is also Air Con in the room should you prefer to keep the window closed but still wish to be cool. Being on holiday in Brighton we weren’t going to spend the evening sat in our room and went out to enjoy a meal and drinks in the local bars of Kemptown and by the time we came back after 11pm it was all quiet, the seagulls were far louder than anyone enjoying a drink in the beer garden!!!
The location of the hotel is fantastic, 2 mins walk and you’re in the heart of Kemptown, 5 mins and you’re on the beach and 15 mins and you’re at the Lanes.
There aren’t many hotels I’ve never wished not to leave but this hotel, it’s owner and staff were impeccable and exceptional in every way, I honestly feel if I would of had any issues Kerry and his amazing team of staff would have done everything they could to rectify the situation and keep the guests more than satisfied.
This is an amazing boutique bed and breakfast, it is such an amazing find, book it you will not be disappointed in any way!!!!!!!! We honestly cannot wait to return!! Thanks for an amazing stay!!!! We wish you all the success that you deserve with your hotel!!

This was our first time in Brighton . We had booked Blanch House as it had fabulous ratings . We were very impressed by a phone call from the owner to tell us our room was ready two hours ahead of schedule which meant we could start exploring Brighton earlier than expected. On arrival we were given a personal welcome from the owner Kerry , issued with our parking permits , and shown to our room . It was explained that our shower took quite a while to warm up , but in my opinion , a powerful instant shower is a must ! The bed was very comfortable and the room was serviced every day ! Breakfast was quite basic but again , it was explained that due to Covid , the hotel had decided not to offer a cooked breakfast option ? The location of the hotel is fabulous for good restaurants, seafront walks , and landmarks . The staff are attentive , especially Enrique , who served us in the bar in the evening and served breakfast the next morning. Very friendly and enjoyed making us comfortable . All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone . It is more than just a posh bed and breakfast establishment - more a home from home . Thankyou Kerry and your team .

I booked to stay at Blanch house the night before travelling down to Brighton, I had a phone call that evening regarding my booking to advise me of the covid restrictions and to check that I wasn't travelling from a high tier area, ( I was very impressed with this ) I was also advised about parking in Brighton and pre ordered my parking tickets over the phone.
On arriving at the hotel I was greeted by Kerry, And what a lovely greeting it was, He showed me around the hotel and to my room and offered us an upgrade., At this point I decided to upgrade to a larger room as we were staying for 3 nights, We stayed in the Snowstorm room, All the rooms were beautiful and spotless, Blanch house was perfectly situated and walking distance to all the main attractions, We loved our stay here and we will be back again soon ! Nothing was to much for the staff, Breakfast was lovely, No matter what you asked for it was done straight away, fresh towels, Loo roll's etc, I cannot recommend this place enough ! Look no further as you won't be disappointed ! Kerry & Enrique made our stay very welcoming, warm and comfortable. 5*
