Googled welcoming gay friendly bars in Brighton and from reviews thought we would give The Amsterdam a try, as soon as we walked in the bar tender shouted at us, are you staying here? When we said no was bluntly told we're closed 😑
I went to the bar for a couple of drinks with some friends and got kicked out straight after I had finished my drink by the most rude pub landlord I've ever met just because I didn't want to buy another drink. The worst bar...More

Brighton and Hove is probably the most unfriendly city in the UK towards car owners. If you can, avoid taking a car into Brighton. Use public transport. A 24 hour parking ticket that is useable only in area "C" where the hotel is situated will cost you £8.00 for twenty-four hours. You can but this from the hotel - but finding a space is not the easiest of tasks!. Public transport in Brighton is excellent and day passes are available for just the inner city (£2.50 per day,) the larger part of the city that costs a bit more and for anywhere that is about £7.00 from memory.
