My expectations for my stay here were pretty low, however a group of friends had already booked so thought we’d join them. There is no parking at the hotel so plan for this when arriving. When we booked in we were given room 8 - down stairs - never a good sign. When we opened

If you like rooms without windows, slugs in your salad and worms in your cooked brocoli. If you like having a lift that is so slow and unique for hundreds of guests that you have to climb the stairs all the time unless you have half an hour to waste waiting for it, if you like

We stayed here as part of a National Holidays coach holiday. It was a really good deal and having read some of the reviews beforehand I must admit to being a bit concerned. However we were pleasantly surprised. Yes the hotel has only 1 lift but all it takes is a little

Where’ S best to park
Honestly you dont have too many choices. Only payed parking down or up to road which is free after 6 or 7 pm untill 8 next day. I would recommend to take a pic to the code of pay machine so you can pay online or even to extend just in case you need more time. Is much better than face a parking charge notice. All the best !

Does this hotel have a swimming pool?
The worst hotel in Brighton! The only chance you have of a swimming pool is if the century old or more rusty pipes break!! Which could well happen. The place is falling apart and filthy!

"Don't have a room on the side near the club The Haunt, if you want a good nights sleep!"
"Lower floor only one lift which is busy"
"Sea view is definitely worth it - offers an amazing view of the pier too"
"Although the hotel has a lift, I don’t think I would go if I were disabled. At the weekends it can be noisy from outside."
