Although central and reasonably priced I have stayed before when the noise from the nightclubs nearby was excessive, the lift out of service, and the public areas and decor distressed. How good then to find the place has had a makeover. OK there is still noise from the nightclubs

Always very helpful staff and spotless rooms. The new super rooms are quite good, worth a few pounds extra. But why oh why is Travelodge still charging for wifi access? Have been to dozens of hotels where it is free.

Great location near sea, pier and laines. Clean comfortable, good shower. Good value depending on when you book. Good facilities in general. 12pm checkout is quite civilised. This can be a noisey part of Brighton due to nighttime revellers and nearby night clubs and bars so not

The Travelodge was a short walk straight down from the train station ( 10 mins approx) and very easy to find. Check in was very smooth and all the staff I met were very polite. The room was of the usual high standard I expect from Travelodge and I had a very comfortable and quiet

I booked a room in the reservation I only mention 1 person, all rooms in this hotel are doble rooms. I will be traveling with someone else and the hotel now wants to charge 50% extra for this occupancy. What is the law on this. In other words if you pay for a double room does the law protects you in some way so you can use it as double or single.?
Did you get the room at a special price when you mentioned you would be the only occupant? That is the only way I could see that you might be charged extra, but I have never come across this before. I would query it with the hotel.

Is there parking?
Yes there is, but we always park in the underground car park on Regency Square because it’s only £18 a day.
