Booked two rooms for two nights to celebrate my birthday with friends. Firstly the staff are amazing, very helpful and friendly. But our room was dirty and smelt of sick. The staff cleaned it and gave us complimentary breakfasts. However this doesn't excuse the fact that it hadn't been cleaned properly by the daily cleaners. Beds very comfortable. Carpets sticky. It was very noise next to the night club though. It was a choice between keeping the window open or closing it and getting very hot. Breakfast was very good, all the better for being free.! The hotel is in drastic need of a refurbish.
Avoid this and all travelodge! Signed up to a 'saver' rate - £200 for the night. Couple of days later rate changed to £122. Wouldn't refund or price match. Absolutely robbed. Have paid £200 for a noisy shoe box. Room incredibly hot, view of office block over the road, no facilities. Awful place. Avoid Avoid Avoid. Will never ever book with Travelodge again and Avoid their 'saver' rate
Made to feel welcome. I had a choice of room (which floor). Spacious room, adequately equipped. Plenty of choice at breakfast. The only negative point was that the shower wasn't hot enough. When I asked they said they were having trouble with the water pressure.
For one night this hotel was perfect for the price. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the room clean and well maintained. I would imagine it would be very noisy outside at weekends but to be expected right in the middle of Brighton! So close to the Lanes, the seafront and the main shops and only about 10 mins walk from the train station. We didn’t eat at the hotel as there is so much to experience outside but there is a small bar, vending machine and restaurant that looked absolutely adequate.
The location of this hotel was great for the town and the lanes. It was a bit noisy outside during the late evening but that is to be expected in Brighton. The hotel room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and polite. We had a great stay.
Pre paid for Breakfast which didn't start till 8am we had to leave @ 0730am I was advised to call central reservations, couldn't get through initially. When i eventually did, I was told they don't deal with that situation, pushed me off to customer services but didn't give me a number, I was told I had to contact them via website.
Good. Bed clean and comfortable and the shower worked well. Bad. Carpet was disgusting, stained and old. Walls marked and grubby. Toilet roll holder had about an inch of dust on it. Noisy outside at 4/5am.
After a very long day with the travel chaos (rail strikes turned a 1 hour journey into 4) Jamie (assistant manager) was extremely helpful and kind. Excellent service makes such a difference I would definitely stay again.
I stayed at travelodge Brighton seafront for business and could not be happier with the staff and room. The staff went above and beyond and done everything they could to make me feel welcome gave me directions to all places I wanted to go to in Brighton. Kelly, Jamie and Kamila are an assets to the team. Will definitely return
