Stayed here for the night as cheaper than getting a taxi to and from where we live. This hotel is in a great location. The car park is quite small but if it’s full there is council one around the corner. The hotel is lovely but Is in dire need of updating. The rooms are very date

Used a groupon offer which gave us one night stay with evening meal and breakfast, bottle of wine and tea/coffee and cake - all for £79. Service at hotel was superb. As we had tickets to attend a show at 8pm we were able to arrange to have our evening meal at 6:30pm - half an hou

Dear Richard, thank you for posting your review. You may not be aware that we have very recently purchased the Trouville and we have great plans for the future of this property so your feedback is invaluable to us. I am pleased you enjoyed your breakfast and just to make you aware, if you book direct with the hotel, we can price match a genuine online rate and also offer free parking. We hope that you visit again some time soon, Patricia Green

A simple menu of decent quality food although it took almost an hour for a salad, burger and some sides. It would be worth checking on how long a meal might rake before ordering. We were the only ones eating in the bar but the kitchen was very busy with banquet meals for groups.

Dear whingeingpom66, thank you for your feedback and I am really sorry that your meal took so long to arrive. As you say the Hotel was very busy with a formal Banquet for a large number of guests but I will look into the fact that your meal was delayed because of this. I want to reassure you that this is not the normal level of service. We sincerely hope that you will visit again and we will ensure that this does not happen again Patricia Green

Is the walk to and from town/beach on a hill please
Yes Beach is downhill approx 5 mins walk and town is uphill the other way 5-10 mins depending where you are going. We spent 2 nights and 3 days and happily walked everywhere but it’s probably not best situated for guests with mobility concerns. Our last morning we got a taxi to the station which is about the furthest point of town from the hotel which was about £6. We stayed in the annexe which has approx 8 very steep steps up to it. Hope this helps
