We spent 24 hours here attending an open day for the timeshare apartments next door. We booked via hotels.com where we got a good deal for a sea view room including breakfast. The room was lovely. Large comfortable bed, from which you could see the sea but there was also a well p

Takes a bit of finding, winding your way around the Torquay Streets, but the hotel is pleasant enough when you arrive. It was a busy weekend and the roadside parking was a nightmare. Check-in was straight forward, but no porter to assist with luggage

Our room needed updating, pa

I cannot believe this hotel is rated four stars. There may well be some lovely rooms at the hotel, but mine certainly wasn't one of them and bore no resemblance to those seen in the photos on their website. Overlooking the service entrance, I was woken by delivery vans arriving

Stayed for 2 nights mid week and found the hotel to be of a good standard.

The room was modern and well equipped with a very comfy bed. Great sea views .

I had a problem with the pressure and heat of the shower on the first morning, which I mentioned to the receptionist. By mor

Hi my boyfriend and I are planning on coming in August for a 3 night stay. I just wondered if there are any lively bars nearby? Kind regards Amy
There are plenty of bars, cocktail lounges and pubs nearby. We are a 5 minute taxi or 15 minute walk into town, and along a beautiful coastal route where you will find plenty of places to try.

do all the rooms have showers are there any rooms for disabled ?
Joyce, you would need to ask the hotel regarding room for disabled with shower. I guess you would mean walk-in showers? Certainly, our room had a shower above the bath. Furthermore, there was an approximately 30mm 'step' between the room and the en-suite with black/yellow warning tape on the step. Not good I think for those with sight loss or old men like me who frequently go to the bathroom in the night and may have forgotten about the 'step'.

When is the sauna going to be repaired and facilities improved in the changing rooms ? Not even a light working in Sauna and no temperature gauge in there!!! Showers need fixing too!
Sorry but you probably won't get an answer from the hotel. I filled in their comment leaflet and they didn't have the decency to reply after I gave them feed back. I felt the hotel facilities were tired.

Hi, can I just check whether children can stay at your hotel, and if you're open off-season? Looking to come with family some time between October & March. Thanks.
Yes, children can stay. I'm sure they are open all year round.
