We have just returned from a two night break and would highly recommend this Guest House to anyone looking for accommodation in Looe.

On arrival, we were asked if we would like tea or coffee, a freshly brewed pot plus a slice of cake was provided, on the house and was served along with a really warm, friendly and genuine welcome!

The room was really well appointed and spacious (we stayed in room 3), huge bed, two really comfy armchairs, amazing views from two big windows looking straight over the estuary, plenty of wardrobe space, really clean, all shampoo, hand wash, conditioner was provided in well stocked pump dispensing bottles. A really nice touch we thought was the plentiful supply of tea, coffee, milk, sugar and ... hot chocolate rather than the usual two sachets plus, there was a fresh glass bottle of tap drinking water and glasses provided.

The shower was excellent and the radiator in the room warmed up really quickly when turned up. A free car park space directly on the front of the building is provided to it is nice to have quick access to your car and you can see it from room 3.

Breakfast was delicious and generous as with all things supplied at this Guest House we had no need for lunch !

This husband and wife team go the extra mile to make sure you have a great stay and we really appreciated this and will be back.
Thank Gail C

We stopped here for one night and I wish we could have stayed longer. On arrival even though we were early, they moved their car so we could park ours. The location was delightful right on the harbour and only a short walk from everything. Julie greeted us with tea and cakes and gave us lots of local information. Our room was cosy but spotless. There were lots of little snacks and a well stocked fridge. There were high end shower products for use and I slept really well. As for breakfast, I struggled to get out of the chair after it there was so much, certainly a FULL English! They have thought of everything here to ensure a pleasant stay. I wouldn’t look any further if I return to Looe.

We booked for 2 nights to attend a friends wedding at a nearby hotel. An excellent choice, Julie and Ben were very welcoming and the room we had booked had a beautiful view overlooking the harbour. Coffee and cake provided for us on arrival with plenty of tea, coffee, water and soft drinks available in the room. First class facilities and a wonderful breakfast. A great location within each reach of the shops and numerous restaurants. Have already recommended to friends!

Booked a room here for 5 nights at last minute, and we now consider ourselves to have been extremely lucky to find such a gem. You never know what to expect from a Guest House but this exceeded everything we might have thought. After travelling 7 hours (road delays!) we arrived to a reserved parking slot and shown a very warm welcome by the owners Julie and Ben. We stayed in a lovely room overlooking the quay.It was clean, fresh, with a super king sized bed. There was oodles of tea, coffee, milk, sugar and some other little touches like buscuits (which my hubby took full advantage of) chocs and a pot of Pringles - all of which were replenished daily if had been used, a mini fridge with complimentary waters, and soft drinks. The en-suite was sparkly clean with fresh smelling newly laundered towels, also had a lovely added touch of toiletries provided. Our bed was made daily for us and the bathroom cleaned and towels replaced - this is something we didn't expect in a guest house, but another touch we were grateful for.
We opted for breakfast and wow we were not disappointed, cooked beautifully nothing too much trouble and so much we only needed to eat at the evening as it kept us going all day! We were given local knowledge of things to do and walks that were available.
We used this place as a base to get out and about around Cornwall, but after a day out and no matter the time we were welcomed back with smile, a pot of tea, and a plate of cake and access to the biscuit tin! Cannot say how much we enjoyed our stay here and all made special by having such friendly hosts who went that step beyond. Julie and Ben have created that home from home feeling you cannot buy. We would thoroughly recommend anyone stay here, you will not be disappointed.
