I stay in a lot of hotels albeit this one stands out as being a little bit quirky with great bedrooms. Staff are friendly however I was surprised to learn that the restaurants don’t take orders after 8pm, maybe it’s a hangover from times before we had electric lights 😂

Had a very enjoyable two-night stay. Room was spacious and quiet with a view of the cathedral. Location is great - close to the cathedral and across the road from Oliver Cromwell's house. Staff were polite and helpful. A handsome hotel in a beautiful city.

We have two nights booked in August (2017) can you please let us know what the parking arrangements are for guests.
Hi, as a very local person I can say that all the above answers are correct. Some days/nights though the parking across the street is very limited (ie you have to just be very lucky to get a slot) However, there are other nearby carparks such as Barton road (long stay) which seems a fair way from the Poets but it actually is not The carpark pedestrian exit lets out onto Silver Street opp the Prince Albert Pub (also nice for a pint/meal) and then its just to the street-end and down a few yards to Poets. If money no problem the valet parking is a good option as the chaps will know exactly which carparks have spaces and when cars have to be moved due to time restrictions etc.

Do you have suites?
You are probably best to go through a booking website. We got a much better price than quoted on the hotels site. It is a lovely hotel.

Hi Louise, I will need to check with our Reservation Team, is it for a single or double room? and do you have an email address that they can respond direct to you on. If you could let me know that would be really helpful. Thanks Vicky
