My fiancé and I paid over $700 for two nights and did not have clean or hot water. The water was brown when we tried to run a shower. We took photos and a video, and when we showed staff, they said there were issues with the Towns water system. As for the lack of hot water, we were told that the water heater usually is enough for two rooms, but the shared room must have used it all...? We emailed the manager, and she offered a 25% discount if we come back.

Just spent 12 nights at this location while my daughter was working for a netflix film. We had the standard loft room and it was excellent for my three daughters and myself. We enjoyed having our own comfy beds during the stay...very plush pillows!!! And daughters just loved it that there was a 2nd floor. Very spacious room. The furniture felt a bit dated but noticed the carpet is fairly new and the bathroom updated. But our room and the building in general felt clean. The water pressure in the bathroom is excellent!!! A few areas on the walls in our room had patches of drywall mud - no paint. With the wood frame building, can easily hear noise from the other rooms (ie. phone vibrating from the room next door). The area is generally quiet. There is no a/c but it's a very cool area with the marina nearby. The communal kitchen was closed for obvious reasons, but we were allowed to bring a hot plate/habatchi and cook outside on our deck...many guests were doing that. Many shops/food services within walking distances.

Room was very expensive for what we got. There was a fireplace in there but you had to pay for the logs. Was hair in the washroom, sheets were stained had to get them to bring in new sheets and remake the bed myself. The room was not a $300 a night room it should have been $100 a night. Front desk girl was trying very hard to help us out and make sure happy.

We decided to stay an extra night in the Tofino area to enjoy the surprise fantastic weather and given the last minute decision there was not a lot of rooms available. We ended up with a suite here. The hotel is clean and the suite was spacious and we had a wonderful view out onto the marina. The only problem was the sea lions barking all night long which made it very difficult to get a good sleep.
