We are just over the Harbour Bridge from Auckland City and handy to all of the main attractions on the North Shore and in the East Coast Bays. Our air-conditioned and newly refurbished rooms (including brand new beds) can be arranged to cater for all needs. They include Family units with a separate bedroom, twin or double studio units - some with kitchen facilities and 2 with Disabled Access- and one 2-bedroom unit. All units are serviced daily and we offer free WiFi, Sky TV with 50+ channels, use of a guest laundry and off-street parking. Takapuna Beach, Lake Pupuke, Takapuna Village Shopping Precinct are within comfortable walking distance and the Bruce Mason Centre, The Pumphouse Theatre, the North Shore Events Centre and North Shore Hospital are all nearby. Numerous cafes, bars and restaurants offer dining options for every taste.

I work nearby- and due to fatigue and stress.. I forgot my house keys and had accidentally locked myself out. I was unable to contact my husband who has the spare keys as he was already at work. Good thing, ANZAC Court Motel was there to the rescue. I was able to check in early @9am. Bruce in the front desk was very helpful and is absolutely nice and kind. I would give him 10/10 for his service. The room I had is also great and clean (smells nice too). The bed, pillows and towels are soft- made me sleep like a baby. Also the TV is great with built in Netflix and Youtube. Lots of parking space available as well. I was joined by my husband in the afternoon in the motel- and all he says is how great the place is. Will definitely house our relatives in here once they come over from overseas for a vacation ❤️ The stressful day for me turned out to be a wonderful staycation instead. Thank you again for the great service Bruce and the rest of the staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

this motel is very clean and comfortable with a small well equipped kitchen. The staff were extremely helpful, even allowing us into our room early, and advising on where to go for various shopping outlets. Car parking is available and convenient to you room. I highly recommend this motel and would happily stay there again

We were visiting family and had traveled from Uk (although I’m a kiwi working overseas) and were unable to stay in the family Home. We wanted somewhere local to Takapuna / within walking distance. Check in was relatively straight forward by an Asian receptionist… Thankfully we had a quiet room near back of motel… The positives of the stay were it was very close to all the amenities of Takapuna & clean and tidy.
The negatives was that was no wardrobe in the room to hang clothes, which disappointed my wife, except for a couple of coat hangers hanging off a pipe/tube above the hot water cylinder in cylinder cupboard … So for our week stay in the motel this wasn’t satisfactory to hang clothes… Overall good study and the price was

Old motel but nicely redecorated. Clean fresh linen and towels. Bottled water in fridge. Great start.
But… Strong Febreze smell or similar perfumed cleaner / deodoriser gave me a head ache. Tiny corner triangle shower. You can hear the water gush when the upstairs unit flushes the toilet. Also hear feet thumping when they walk around above us.
The tv had “Internet Download Fail” flashing on screen all night. Couldn’t remove it. So annoying.
No tissues. I know that’s a minor complaint but I just expect a box of facial tissues when paying over $200 per night. Smoke detector missing… isn’t that breaking the law?
The motel manager wrote down my credit card details on a form at check in. He didn’t swipe my card and looked puzzled when I asked how does he keep that information secure? But he seemed to think a form in their office sitting in a tray is secure.
Good proximity to Takapuna shops. A flat 500m walk to the shops and cafes.

Not very happy with the surcharge applied after booking online at a lower price than paid. I paid with debit card, and have been applied a small print credit card surcharge.
Room was noisy can hear everything happening outside on the 2 sides of the room and the lack of onsite reception after 8pm is a terrible thing if you have any issue.

Anzac Court is off the main drag heading into the CBD of Takapuna. You'll almost miss it nestled amongest other housing.
The moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly hospitality and amazing accommodations. Nice curtains, new carpting, and the beds were a dream; the best in all accommodations combined over the years. No aches or pains while they were wonderfully comfortable soft and yet supportive for a fantastic great sleep. Only thing we would change, would be a litter weight duve.
As for the amenities throughout our bedroom and unsuit, everything was wonderfully presented whether on the shelf, in the cupboard or drawer, or wall hamgings, with soft absorbant towels, quality toilet paper lol, and matching DēLonghi kettle and toaster. Everything

Thank you for the lovely stay, very blessed. Great staff, comfortable bed and pillows. Served its purpose. However, would recommend a smaller bed in the room as it took up majority of the room space, made it hard to move around in. All in all a great stay.

Absolutely horrific. Dirty and smelly. The place smells like a sewer. We couldn’t stay and had to leave and forego 2 nights paid accommodation at expensive rates (certainly overpriced for this dump) with no refund. An absolute disgrace!!

Great location for shops and accessing services, very comfortable bed. They accommodated my need to advise them on a daily basis whether I was staying longer or not because my husband was in hospital. They were very lovely about it. The shower was a bit small and the toilet seat moved (just needed fixing). Would stay there again.

I have never felt more welcome at a hotel where I didnt personally know the owners. Having arrived in my wheelchair I discovered that coms had gotten skewed somewhere but it didnt matter as they quickly sorted an accessible room for me.
There is such a pleasant friendly vibe here. The staff seem to lightly jog about their day, ever friendly, ever helpful.
At the end of my stay I overslept and wasnt checked out by the appointed time. I apologised and offered to pay extra and they wouldnt take it! Instead they are looking after my bags for the day at no cost after I have checked out.
The room was spotless and well appointed. Everything you would expect and more but what makes the place is the wonderful people.
My stay at Anzac Court was an absolute pleasure!

You could walk, it would take around 25-30 mins ,distance is approx 2kms. there is a bus you can catch just across the road from the motel that takes you to the hospital. reception would let you know buses etc.
There are more places to choose from in the Takapuna area.
