We chose Silverdale as it was a relatively short drive from Auckland Airport after our flight. It provided a good point to then head further further north. Selwyn and Dellis are the perfect, welcoming hosts. The room was spotless and comfortable. While the sleeping area is tight there is a conservatory attached that provides an excellent space to relax, unwind and eat. A good selection is supplied for breakfast too with cereal, juices, bread, jams and yogurts to choose from.

The gardens are huge and you are free to wander around this beautiful space. There are restaurants within a short drive so you will not starve.
The hosts provided excellent instructions on how to find their little hidden gem which removes some of the stress when travelling in unfamiliar areas.

A very pleasant stopover, everything provided, friendly hosts plus beautiful setting.
Suitable for one couple as space is limited but the small conservatory allowed sitting space. The large landscaped garden was a bonus, especially the landing for swan-watching.

We had a small room with a queen bed and ensuite.
There was a small conservatory attached which gave a bit more space.
The room is small but the conservatory adds enough space to not feel cramped.
The gardens are huge and you can wander at will.
Plenty of parking and the whole property is secure being quite a way off the road.
Very quiet and peaceful.
Clean and tidy.
The owners are very nice, friendly people.

This is unamazing enclave of tranquility in overpopulated North Auckland. Handy to business center's, beaches, stadiums, etc. The hosts are delightfully helpful, the accommodation is superb and the garden has amazing walks to the 'jungle' and lake. An unexpected pleasure to recharge the batteries.

Overnight stay at this lovely BnB in early May. Very comfortable and friendly hosts. The entry to the property is a little tricky first time but the setting more than made up for the missed gateway on a busy road. Just what we needed on our way north.🤗

This is an up market B&B set in a secluded, quiet well kept garden close to Silverdale town center - my son and I booked exclusive use (recommended) meaning two bedrooms, bathroom and a lounge come dining area - it was very comfortable and well appointed - the hosts were most helpful but not intrusive - continental breakfast in the room which has a small kitchen for limited self catering - it was a semi business visit - we could not have done better.

Stayed 3 nights in this lovely modern B&B set in a very large beautiful garden, with a very warm welcome and hospitality..
Great location to explore the area with beautiful beaches nearby. Enjoyed an excellent day's walk in the Shakespear Regional Park, followed by a refreshing swim in the bay.. With great panaramic views from the lookout on top of the hill.

Thank you Dellis and Selwyn for looking after us so well.

I have stayed at this Bed and Breakfast before and I always find it exceptionally clean and well appointed. Plenty of variety for breakfast and I would certainly recommend it for travelers wanting a great facility in a central location.
I will be back.
Thank you Dellis and Selwyn.

Wonderful modern accommodation in a beautiful garden setting. As it is down a long driveway it is so peaceful but the many beaches along the Whangaparaoa Road are only minutes away. Our host was very friendly and even upgraded us to the two bedroom apartment. Internet access was free and very good. We would definitely stay again.

We have traveled extensively and stayed in B & B's in many countries. We loved this B & B and rate it our all time favorite. This is a great location just north of Auckland. It is set in a quiet, private setting with lovely gardens for just sitting to enjoy or strolling about. The host is a lovely lady who makes sure your needs are met but then leaves you to your privacy. We had a private entrance to our accommodation. It is part of the owners home, but not in the home. Our room was small, but still contained everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the room and bath clean. The breakfast is self serve with the items placed in a refrigerator and cabinets in the room, which contains a small kitchenette. The breakfast is cereal, yogurt, fruit an juices. All you need for a healthy start. There is a conservatory off the bedroom furnished with table and chairs where you can enjoy breakfast, view the gardens, or enjoy one of the magazines the host has supplied. In good weather you can also sit in the garden, The driveway is a bit difficult to locate at first, but it is well worth the effort. Wish we could have stayed longer. Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We highly recommend.
