Picked motel more for location then anything else. A big mistake, one will never make again. While we were not going to spend a lot of time in unit, we found the 21" TV very small for room. Only 3 sky channels, maybe the only motel in NZ without 50+ The fridge had to be unplugged each night otherwise no sleep , sounded like a train going through the unit. We left the fridge out on last day as I have never seen such a pile if dirt, dust and I think an old lollipop there. Fridge door was rusty and top of it looked like it was melting We had unit 10, a 1 bedroom unit set up for 4 guests however the only sitting was 2 barstools, what a joke and if 4 stayed not enough plates, cups etc Bedroom, black hair on wall, filthy shower and a toilet seat that was no the correct size for bowl and moved all over the place. Bed was ok at best. This motel i think is also used for government housing, and yes cars coming and going all night, people outside talking. We will never, never stay again. If we could give a minus we would have as we believe a 1 star 🌟 is too high

This is the worse place I have ever stayed at. I beleive these units need to be reviewed by the council and motel association as they are so unhygenic. They are not cleaned in between quests. The showers are so dirty that I wouldnt even wash in there. The sheets were clean but everyhing else was filthy - food on chairs, mould thru out the bathroom, hadnt seem a vacuum cleaner in months and dont look under the bed as the grim is cm thick. The fire sprinkler falling off the roof - an attempt to duck tape it to the ceiling had failed and this was in the disavled unit. Also in that room the door shlo ked the disabled couple inside and no one coukd get in or out. The owner said just put a chair behind it - great for those disabled and access is already a challenger. Please close this place down until they can clean it and health and safety compliance issues are addressed.

Dirty rooms, tape holding shower together. Mould in soap tray in shower, cotton tape holding towel rail up, ants every where. Hole in curtain at front door to go over handle, miss match duvets etc, room had not been cleaned and when we asked to clean they said you can find another motel to go to if you don't like this and give money back. If wasnt for elderly parents staying as well we would of left for sure. Mother law could not get out of her room. Locked in. Even this was a hassle to get attended to. Absolutely no customer service did not consider anyone. Again a real disgrace to the motelliers association

Now I wasn’t expecting luxury, but for $150 I was hoping for at least a clean room. We had to stay as it was New Year’s Eve and everything else was booked, but if you don’t have to stay, don’t! The carpet wasn’t even vacuumed, there was sticky stains running down the wall behind the side tables and the curtains were rotted through. Woke up to see the car from the room next door had had its windscreen smashed in. Beware!

Overpriced, dirty, didn't look like place had been vacuumed after previous folk, lots of road noise, no couch, had to sit on single bed to watch TV, tiny TV, broken furniture, kitchen not well equipped, ants, bathroom towel rail hanging on by piece of wire. Only good things clean sheets and towels, shower hot with good pressure. Won't be back. If u need to stay in this vicinity try Cascades.
